When I received my shoes back, I was surprised to see they were delivered in appalling packaging. The box was damaged, with ripped and damp corners, leaving the shoes exposed and unprotected. They did not arrive in stable condition and were not returned in the original box I provided.
Additionally, I am very disappointed with the quality of the sole repair. The soles have not been integrated seamlessly; they are mismatched, the colour does not match, and they look more like a chunky trainer sole, when the cobbler taken the photos of the completed resole he did not provide a photo of the rear of the sneaker where the issue really lies. The sneakers are ruined. There was a clear lack of care and attention taken with this repair, and I will certainly not be recommending your services in the future.

Also his photos of the repair failed to show the rear of the shoes, camouflage and disguising the obvious issue.

Update, after numerous attempts of trying to contact the seam they have failed to even reach out to me. I am being deliberately ignored.

I sent a handloomed knit jumper off to repair with Sasha D. This jumper was 25 years old and had numerous holes and a large stain. Sasha did a fantastic job invisibly repairing the holes and covering the stain. It looks fantastic and has been given a whole new lease of life. The service was very efficient and communication was excellent.

Two trousers altered. The finish is flawless. The maker, Sandra Z send back the trousers very quickly. I am very pleased

Fantastic communication from Theo from the beginning. My lovely scarf had moth holes in it which were expertly mended and I am very happy with it. I like the personal touch of the communication with the maker and it was all round a brilliant experience. I'm so glad The Seam exists - we should all be looking after our things, and it's great to be able to connect with talented makers like Theo. Highly recommend.

My husband happened to burn a Brunello Cucinelli jacket with a cigarette, yet thanks to Lyudmila, we were able to restore it in such a manner that it appears entirely flawless, as though no imperfection ever existed. My Frank Clegg leather tote bag needs a repair after 8 years. I used The Seam which pair me with Katarina. Katarina replied with a quote and explained how she’d repair it. Excellent communication and great handwork. The broken corner is hardly noticeable after the repair. Highly recommend

If I could select 6 stars out of 5 for the repair Paola Z undertook on my Chanel bag I wouldn’t hesitate I am absolutely blown away. It is invisible and absolutely perfect. Returned quickly and great communication.

I would fully recommend The Seam as this is the second time I’ve used them and both times the repairs have been fantastic and the service was excellent.

Sent my jacket in as the Zipper puller had broken off.
Once it arrived at seams a lovely lady Sandra informed me that the whole Zip needed replacing and that the original adidas zip could not be sourced.
Disappointed in that, I agreed to a alternative replacement.
After initially getting the wrong zip for me because jacket was reversible so required a 2 way
Sandra messaged with a picture of the replacement Zip which I gave permission for.
However, once returned to me, I noticed how poor quality the replacement was.
Very cheap and nasty probably costing no more than a fiver.
Fitting cost me £79 including delivery costs which was disappointing.
Jacket was expensive brand new and now has a zip that resembles a toy from a kinder egg.
The quality of the work and the lady herself were fine but, adidas and seams need to get their act together on proper replacement items.
Now I have got to take it elsewhere and have it removed a total waste of time.

The Seam, put me in touch with the amazing Andrea B. Andrea kept me up to date on my bag repair and if I messaged answered me very quickly. My bag looks amazing, Andrea did a fab job with the repair. Would highly recommend.
