Great service from The Solar House, from the initial visit to the showroom to the final sign-off.
The team provided exactly what we asked for (unlike some others), even putting the inverters and batteries out of sight around the back of the house.
The installation was really neat despite having some issues to deal with. The whole job was done in a couple of days and even the scaffolding was only up for 5 days.
We’ve had our first payback from our energy company which covered the gas and electric charges for the same period.

From Start to finish I couldn’t be happier. Communications were great, showroom really helped be see the benefits. Very competitively priced. Even when I made changes on the day of installation they were flexible to my needs post the initial installation plan.

The whole team of trades people were professional and efficient. Highly recommend!

Should ever need a solar or storage in the future they well be first on my call list.

We are really pleased with our solar panel system installed by The Solar House & very happy to recommend to others.
The sales process was very good - Wayne & Dan answered lots & lots of our questions via emails, phone calls and a home visit. We were never put under pressure to buy & given plenty of time to consider the options.
The installation went really smoothly - the scaffolders, roofers & electricians all arrived on the agreed date/time and were really friendly & helpful.
Paying the deposit & then the remaining balance on completion was quick & easy.
The app which goes with our system looks really useful & informative.

The Solar House installed my solar panels and battery and were brilliant throughout the whole process. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, polite and helpful. I felt like they were honest with me from the get go and took onboard all of my requirements.

I wanted to tie the install in with getting my roof repaired and they were able to line up dates with the roofer to get everything done seamlessly.

I can't rate the team at Solar House highly enough. Wayne and Dan were both helpful and knowledgeable without any hard sell or pressure involved. A visit to their showroom in Cardiff also proved useful to talk through and better understand the solar options for our property before committing.
We ended up selecting a 10.8kW (24 panel) solar system with 10.2kWh battery storage (2 x 5.1kW Ecoflow units), plus an EV charger. We had quotes from several other companies but chose Solar House based on value for money and confidence in them from our initial experience and from online reviews.
Kate organised the work very well and our experience with all teams involved was positive. From the scaffolders, to the solar panel installers and the electricians led by Josh, all were courteous and helpful. Most of the work was completed in one day with Josh returning to finish fitting the second battery and inverter on another day.
They did have have some issues installing the original Zappi EV charger but again this was chased up by Kate and a replacement unit was refitted by Josh, and is now working well.
The following week, Kate provided the necessary info for us to apply for an MPLAN and get onto an export tariff (I would recommend Octopus). I'm now obsessed with looking at the Ecoflow app to check how much energy I'm generating and using!

Solar House installed our batteries and panels on 20/08/25. Everything went to plan and the install took just one day (by Josh & Niall). We would not hesitate in recommending Solar House to anybody in the future as they have been extremely professional from the time I visited their shop in Cardiff to completion (not forgetting the scaffolders and roofers who installed the panels!). I have contacted them by telephone/email with queries before and after the install and have always had an answer to my questions. Thanks very much.

The Solar House installed my solar panels and battery system complete a couple of weeks ago. From start to finish all of the team was great. The team take you through planning to completion. The best part is no hard selling for extras not required. They explained what the solar system will do when powering my house. The team will answer any questions, which we then wanted the power socket from the battery into our house for power outage. The team are very professional and no mess was left after all installation. They also helped knowing roofers to remove my chimney which went above and beyond the service. Thank you 5* service and 5* products.

When I first approached Solar House for a quotation for installing solar panels, they suggested I come to their office so that they could show me how the systems worked. I’m very glad that I did because I came away with a much better idea of what I was looking for, to the extent that I felt I could compare their quotation to others with a relatively educated eye.
The Solar House quotation was competitive so I went back to discuss the system in more detail, and ended up agreeing on an installation with a few modifications to the original proposal.
The installation itself was surprisingly painless – the scaffolding was erected on the day they said it would be with minimal effect on the garden, and the panels were installed and connected on the following day leaving me with a fully working system. The only negative comment that I can think of to make about anything in the entire process is that it then took another couple of days for the subcontractors to come back and remove the scaffolding. The act of removal itself was, however, exemplary.
I would particularly like to thank Dan for the way he guided me throughout the transaction and Sean for the care he took in installing the electrical components with sensitivity.
In summary, I have no hesitation in recommending Solar House.

I had Solar Panels installed on Thursday 14th August 2025.
The complete project from start to completion was flawless.
My girlfriend & I popped in to "The Solar House" in Whitchurch (Cardiff) one Saturday morning and was seen by Harvey.
Harvey was professional throughout and gave a comprehensive explanation of Home Solar Panels.
The Solar House have Three Battery / Invertor Options and I went for the Ecoflow, which is the best currently on the market with the benefit of a longer guarantee.
The "Install" took place a few weeks later on a mutually agreeable date and the solar panels flew in.
The Roofers installing the Solar Panels were top notch and the two electricians undertaking the electrical connections were superb.
I am extremely happy with the system and with the team that installed it.
I have recommended The Solar House to quite a few people since particularly as I can see that my house is 99% independent of the Grid.

Very helpful at every step of the process without the hard sell approach, Wayne was very helpful with all my questions/queries, helped me get to the point of understanding exactly what I wanted, followed by a quick and relatively hassle free install by Sean, would recommend highly.

Solar panels were, for many years, on our must have list, but 2 large oak trees at our previous house dashed all such hopes. On our return to Cardiff and a chance conversation with our middle son about Solar House, revitalised our hopes for solar panels. A phone call with Dan started our smooth and happy journey to our goal. The Solar House team were just fantastic. The process started with a no obligation plan of a system specific to our house. This schematic mock up was incredibly simple to follow and understand. Any thoughts of shopping around went out the window and we placed an order. Everything after that was just plain sailing. The survey was performed by one of the best electricians, Sean, we have ever met; the subcontracted scaffolding company were brilliant; the two day solar panel fitment and electrics went like a dream and we were up and running by the afternoon of day 2. Most importantly, our expected hassle of paperwork associated with the grid and our energy supplier was totally taken over by the Solar House team. In concluding, we would strongly recommend Solar House: the company members all have an exemplary work ethic.

Since day 1 to the completion of the instal and the panels going live I cannot praise the team at the Solar House highly enough. I was kept up to date at all stages of the process and no question I asked was left unanswered. Dan, Luke and Wayne in the office were superb, as were Steve (Roofing), Sean (Electrical maestro) and of course the scaffolding team. Steve & Sean worked together to ensure that our request for cable routing could be achieved, and the end result is fantastic. I am already seeing the benefit of the panels and the energy they produce and will happily sing the praises of the Solar House if people ask about the installation (and even if they don't). Once again, I can only thank the whole team for the care and attention detail they provide and would recommend the Solar House to anyone.

Superb service from start to end would highly recommend The Solar House

Highly recommend and a great company to work with. Dan and Luke came up with options for us to consider and adjusted them to meet our needs/wants. There was no pushy sales tactics and time for us to consider. They then worked very hard to provide a really quick installation so we could save money by using our existing scaffolding.
