Honestly, this was next level. Overdelivered big time — for what the course costs, the material is broken down so professionally, and you see results almost right away.

Before training with Sebastian, my legs would be wrecked after a normal session. After his advice and the sessions we did through the app he uses, my legs come out fresh and reactive even after tough efforts.

Can't recommend him enough — an incredible pro, super sharp technically, and genuinely one of the most empathetic people I've worked with.

Seb transformed my surfing in one session of video analysis. It is obvious he has insane technical knowledge of biomechanics and years of pro experience to help anyone improve, no matter their level. His enthusiasm and passion for surf and skate shines through every service he offers. Even if you are not based in Scotland I would recommend working with him through his remote services. It is great value for money- but re-igniting your love for surf is priceless.

Seb has transformed my surfing through surfskate coaching. His knowledge, delivery and skill as a coach is outstanding. You are learning from a pro. Before I started our sessions, my surfing had become stale but I didnt know how to fix it and as a result sessions had become stressfull and unenjoyable. After sessions with Seb I am loving surfing and skating again and am moving in a completely differnt way. Enough for people to comment positively on the change in my style. Sebs passion and enthusiasm is infectious, cant speak more highly of him and the academy!

I had a lost shore session yesterday where i finally felt ive got my surfing back to early 2000's.Its been a long n fun trek from Nov '24 floating starfish mid wavepool with cramp in both legs have just been runover by 8 waves in a row! Youve been a main part in that Seb so just wanted to say thank you ! I had many tips and advice usually change my board and probably right tbf but it wasnt what I wanted to do, like someone wanting to get into a favourite pair of jeans they wore 10 years ago i wanted to do the surfing i did before. Seb has an amazing ability to know where people are at and where they want to go and tailor what he knows around that ....its a great( and rare) skill and one I really appreciate so many thanks Seb! Got my surfing back and surfskating which I love just as much👌

I’m having a online course with Seb, and is the best.. very clear on explain drills and with the new video analysis is Soooo helpful, make you understand mistakes and correct them right away…

As an over 50 beginner in an area with seemingly no surfskate groups or teachers, trying to learn has been solely from online videos or suggestions from folks on social media. The info from The Surfskate Academy and coach Seb made sense and always worked so when he posted that video analysis and lessons were available, I signed up immediately. After the first analysis, I made significant progress because I understood what to do with my body. Coach Seb explains the biomechanics, which for me and how I learn is vital. Life and surfskate are in the flow, the joy of the details, and The Surfskate Academy and coach Seb bring that together in an online approach that just works. Highly recommend for surfskaters of all levels.

Seba is great! I'm taking online classes with him to improve my surfskate technique, and I'm really improving thanks to the detailed analysis of biomechanics and movement. He really is the only one doing this online in my opinion!! In just a few classes I did improve a lot, and he also speaks Spanish so I'm learning Spanish and surfskate at the same time, what else?? 🇬🇧🇪🇸🛹🤙

After starting surfskatekng at the age of 40 I soon realised, one thing how fun it was but also how difficult it is to get it flowing. I watched many YouTube videos, and self practiced. I finally came across surfskatekng academy. Not only scottish based. But also did online lessons.
The lessons are fantastic and actually break down in stages. You get a break down then some drills to go away and practise. Once you feel your got the drills or still struggling send wee video in, the video then gets broken down in slow mode. It highlights the and explains where to improve and where your doing it right. Honestly 100% recommend sebastian(skatesurfacademy).
Anyone thinking about trying skatesurfing please give a few lessons a go as its really makes a huge difference.

The instructors were not only highly knowledgeable and professional, but their helpful and good-natured approach immediately put everyone at ease, creating a safe and encouraging environment.
The taster session was brilliantly structured, allowing everyone—regardless of ability—to get stuck in and have a shot, including some very enthusiastic teachers! It was fantastic to see such high levels of engagement across the board. The event has clearly left a lasting impression, with many pupils leaving the session buzzing with excitement and already declaring that a Surfskate board is at the very top of their Christmas list. We would highly recommend this experience to other schools.

Amazing experience for the whole team, Seb is a great teacher, he came to our office for a group session and it was really nice seeing everyone's confidence build so quickly... will definitely be booking another session!

Seb is amazing with the kids (and the birthday boy’s slightly stressed Mum). They all had an amazing time and he had them all skating and having fun. Thanks so much for an awesome party.

We booked a surfskate birthday party for my 8 year old daughter and 12 friends. My daughter has had a few lessons but everyone else was a complete beginner and Seb was brilliant at getting them up on the boards and confident - he knows exactly the right games to play and exercises to do and before they know it they’re surfskating! All the kids had a blast. Plus hosting a party at Lost Shore is great as it’s such a lovely venue for any other parents to have a coffee/lunch/wander and watch the surfing. Definitely recommend for kids parties!

Great hour with Seb! Part of a works day out and we had a blast! Superb facility and awesome teacher! All of the group were beginners but we all picked it up swiftly. Top lad!

Wow, what a morning! Seb was absolutely outstanding as a coach and pushed me far beyond what I thought were my limits. At 55 years old, I never imagined I’d be carving my board with this much power and style – but Seb made it happen. His deep knowledge of surfskating combined with his motivating and supportive coaching style is unmatched. Not only was the session highly effective, it was also a lot of fun. I can’t recommend Seb enough!

I started surf skate lessons to try and help resurrect my surfing which had been moth balled for nearly a decade. I'm a classic 90's self taught everything and a usually reluctant trainee. so wasn't sure how joining The Surf Skate Academy's beginner course would go but worth a shot.
Seb is an amazing surf skate coach who has an uncanny ability to pick out and demonstrate clearly, exactly what you need to focus on ....whether you do or not is up to you of course but Seb will stick with you as you try...he misses nothing! and guides you back to what and why works, with patience and enthusiasm.
I'm now a surf skater who occasionally surfs....

My 11 year old daughter had a surf skate taster session at school and loved it! We booked her for a session whilst running at Fringe by the Sea- Sebastian was so great with the kids, keeping them interested, all included and they had had a blast!

Seba is a genuinely kind and generous human who is passionate about sharing his knowledge to lift others.
