I ended up going with the Streamer Express 6wt, the same day it arrived I was blown away by just the case it showed up in. Then I got to see my new rod and I was in shock with the quality this rod has to offer. I took it out that night and landed two beautiful rainbows on the river and was so happy with the way the Streamer Express performed. With the proper form, this rod cast itself. Thanks Wade Rods!

I have been extremely happy with my Wade Rod and Pelican Reel -- very top quality gear. I received my spare spool extremely quickly and am excited to put a sink tip line on it and give it a go.

To be honest with you I was skeptical, so I did my homework on Wade. I took a chance, and I’m glad I did! I ordered the 8 wt GOAT through Wades subscription plan. They make it very easy and affordable to own a quality fly rod.I was sitting by the fire pit on a Saturday night around 11 PM when I placed my order, and the rod came by the next Thursday. I thought that was pretty good. During the initial unpacking, I was quite pleased with the quality of the rod and the tube that it came in. It took me a few days to get it set up and ready to fish, and I was even more pleased with the way it finished. To be quite honest with you I am an Orvis guy, and this rod rivals the quality of Orvis at about half the price or so! I will definitely buy again!

Customer service is the only thing that separates them from anyone else. The product I received was good quality and I hope to put it to good use this year. The issue I had - I sent several emails asking about the 2 day service I paid for and never got a response (took 6 days to deliver from the email I received saying it shipped) also, I sent an email asking how to switch over the retreive because I got the wrong one, and they didn't respond. As a customer, I am left with they don't care and that is not a good thing for business.

The customer service is top notch. The shipping time is quick and the quality of product is outstanding. This is not my first purchase and it will not be my last. 10/10 would recommend.

The delivery was very quick and everything showed up undamaged. I have only had the rod for a week now and have only fished it once, but so far so good. I caught a 22" striper on the second cast! The rod throw heavy flies in the wind very well. I'm excited to use it more.

I paid for two day shipping, its been 9 days and still no rod. Took that long to get a reply and all it said was it was a long weekend and only 4 people work there. And that reply was a week after Memorial Day. Not one thing about refunding my money. This has not been a good experience.

Update: They eventually got back to me and refunded more money than I was looking for, so good on them. Bumped from a 1 to a 4

I got my new 7’6 3Wt Fly rod today. Looks great. Can’t wait to use it next week. I’m heading toThe sierras. Needed a smaller lighter fly rod. Came in 5 days via USPS. Packed perfect.

Haven’t fished it but has good balance, nice wrap, looks good. Interesting rod tube!? Looking forward to putting a reel on it. Great service from these guys.

Order came quickly (inside a week)
Fishes pretty well with floating line and weighted flys on the bass pond I frequent.
Feels like it might struggle with a full sink paired with a heavier fly but can’t speak to that yet
All n’ all I like it good stick

Great rod company, we have three now.

As of now I gave it 4 just from the design and feel. I was using it with just the line without the fly and it was unbelievable. I have only fly fished once and knew my rod was to big for small streams and flimsy. Will give another review very soon!
