Our system has been installed over 6 months now and wow what a system, it’s amazing it’s over achieving by over 50% of what was quoted, even when it’s been the wettest dullest winter we have still been able to generate kWh and even on some days we over produce and sell back to the grid. Daryl and the team are fantastic, and couldn’t be more helpful!! 100% recommend this company and happy to talk to any person needing more information. We had other quotes but this company outshone everyone! Thank you Daryl and team.

Daryl has a no pressure friendly sales style and knows what he's talking about where solar is concerned. We decided to get an extra battery and an EV charger after discussing the benefits. The installation by Jeff was first rate and everything is tidy and where we wanted it. All done in 2 days including scaffolding up and down. Daryl and Danielle have set up the phone apps we need to monitor the system and will assist us moving forward. Can't wait to start selling power back to the grid. All in all this is a very friendly company that are passionate about what they do and doing it right. Highly recommend.

I have just had my install from think free solar. The staff at think free solar have all been very professional from setting out the system best for my property to install and now the after care. They really do go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied and have a functional system. Theres a reason for the good reviews on here. I personally trusted the staff at think free solar to carry out the work at my house with with nobody at home they kept the place as tidy as possible considering the work needing to be done. So to anybody reading this and considering solar and batteries I am highly recommending think free solar as a honest business who are trustworthy and take good care of the customer's that choose a install with them .

Been absolutely fantastic! They really care about their customers.

Had a horrible experience with a previous solar panel provider. Think Free Solar came in and gutted the previous fire hazard, put in a new system, explained how everything worked and helped set up tariffs with the energy supplier. They were open, honest, answered all questions and are contactable. They’re certified, have pride in their work and care about helping their customers get the best experience out of their products. I can’t thank them enough!

Daryl and the team have done a fab job getting our preexisting system back up and running in our new house. Great service on the day and excellent aftercare.

Fantastic service from design to installation, if you are considering having solar panels fitted I definitely recommend Think Free Solar.
We had 18 x 480w panels and 3 x 10kw battery storage and it was all installed and commissioned in 1 day.

An excellent company from start to finish. They have been very professional and communicative throughout. We were fully aware of the specification and what to expect from the start, with no hidden surprises. 

Fantastic install, the whole team were polite, treated the property with respect and left everything neat and tidy. At the end of the install day they ensured we were fully aware of how to use the system. Now we can't stop watching the app to see how much electricity we are making. The Think Free Solar team have just been back out to install a solar-compatible EV charger at our office, allowing us to take full advantage of charging our vehicles whether we’re at home or at work.
As with the original solar and battery installs, the work was carried out to a very high standard. The team arrived on time, communicated clearly throughout, and did an excellent, tidy job — despite working in sub-zero temperatures with snow on the ground.
The charger is now fully integrated with our solar setup, giving us maximum flexibility and ensuring we’re making the best possible use of the energy we generate. It’s another example of how Think Free Solar don’t just install equipment, but think about the whole system and long-term performance.
Once again, a professional, reliable, and knowledgeable team. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Think Free Solar for solar, batteries, or EV charging.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend Think Free Solar

We had solar and battery systems installed by Think Free Solar at both our home and our office, and the performance has genuinely exceeded expectations.

Before going solar, our home energy and fuel costs were around £750 per month, with the office adding a further £200 per month. Since the systems were installed, those costs have been largely eliminated. We’ve also replaced two fossil-fuel cars with an electric van, which is now mostly powered by our own solar, allowing us to use the energy we generate rather than exporting it at low rates.

Using real billing data, the systems are now saving us £7,500–£8,500 per year, giving a realistic return on investment of around 4–5 years. Over a 15-year period, that equates to well over £100,000 saved — money that would otherwise have gone to energy companies.

The team at Think Free Solar have been excellent throughout: knowledgeable, straightforward, and clearly focused on delivering systems that perform in the real world. Both installs are working exactly as intended, even through the winter months.

Absolutely fantastic process from start to finish. Daryl knows what he's talking about and Jeff knows what he's doing on the electrical side of things. Beautiful and clean setup, professional and accurate throughout the process and a wonderful working system in the end. Can only recommend these guys 100%.
