I was one of the victims of the Kickstarter May 2022 campaign. I, foolishly, paid for all the models on offer hoping these would help me in my retirement. I have chased via email many times. out of the blue in June 2023 I got the three cheapest models of the 7 BUT without the free one the offered because of all the delays. So I am as of 8Jul23 still awaiting 4 rather expensive models (all of which I have seen for sale on other various websites) plus my FREE "Duck". I think Kickstarter are equally to blame because they should be vetting these inventors and holding them to account. So my advice is to avoid the Kickstarte website altogether. Communication is next to zero.

Avoid!!! They take your money, say their manager will be in contact on the order confirmation and then never come back to confirm a delivery date. Emails and website contact forms are ignored. No telephone details available on website or anywhere that I could find, so impossible to get in touch with a real person. Then out of the blue the product arrived unannounced a couple of weeks later. In this age of digital communication, this was too much like hard work.

Scammers.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Poorly designed models that doesn't even work properly. If you contact them after purchasing the product, all they say is "That is what you have paid for."
Check their websites and product listings for reviews. I bet there are no negative reviews as they block, delete and manage their reviews.

1. No replies on emails
2. Read, then ignore Instagram DMs for 2 weeks. Not once, not twice but more.
3. Blaming customers of their choice throughout the support process, if you were lucky enough to receive one to start with.
4. Trying to sell more, while ignoring previous customers.

T4M's models are great... only if you can build them with their instructions full of traps. If you happen to break a piece, don't worry! Each of them are available for purchase at a wonderful price of US$3 each!

How long did they take to let me know of this price system? Not long, just 3 months.

Were they sorry for taking long, etc? According to their words, yes. But every message they send were just full of words blaming on their customer for buying their model.

On top of these, while providing barely any support to their existing customers, they were discounting their models for sake of supporting Ukraine and releasing new models.

I went yesterday to retrieve my product, and it was exactly what I wanted. It was for my husband, actually. He loved it, he's been wanting the Dazzling Stramliner for a while.
The delivery time was better than expected during holiday season. It took about 14 days or so.
Now, my husband is eager to start assembling his train model.

I purchased more than a year ago (Jan 2020 !!!!) a model from them and never received it. I had several email or Instagram conversations with them and been promised that it will arrive and it never did. To me it is an absolute SCAM.

We bought many models as a gift to our partners, everyone was happy with the gift.

I'm very disappointed with this shop.
I tried to purchase a "Cute double-decker" from their own webpage. The payment platform gave me an error and I though it hadn't taken the money from my account, so I tried again. The second time happened the same error, and both charges were taken from my account. I claimed to their support and they answered only that there is no purchase order, so they don't look further, even though I sent them the 2 recipes in my bank account. Now I have wasted more than 40$ and 2 months for nothing.

Edit: after posting this claim, I finally get the support for this problem and get solved, but it took 2 months and a half to have it fully solved. Now I have the extra payment refunded and one article received correctly (still pending to mount it).

I don't have an experience of purchasing any models. But I surely am facinated by the looks and workability of the models like the Glorous Carbriolet 2 which has working front and reverse gears, wow! I am from Bangladesh and I an not sure if time4machine can deliver it to my home address. I really want to order some models but don't want to get disappointed.

The customer support really rocks!

I cut the spring bandage during the assembly and contacted the support. They sent me the video instruction of fixing it and also sent me a brand new spring from Ukraine. Predictably, the delivery took some time, but it was still a cool experience!

I was bought the Heavenly Hercules and Marvel Tank 2. Instructions are basic and after spending more than a week solid in lockdown could not get it to work properly, looks well when built but for extortionate price would like it working will not be buying any more from this company.

I have ordered the Marvel Tank model, it is awesome and I've decided to try Dream Van, it is shipped from Ukraine. Of course delivery was quite long but it was really worth waiting.

Horrible customer service. I didn't receive a notification that the parcel was available for pick-up so it was sent back. No big deal, but after waiting for the product for a 1 year and a half (indiegogo-pledge) I had no interest in it anymore so I requested a refund. A month later the customer service is ghosting my mails, no money back in sight.

I have three models GLORIOUS CABRIO 2, DAZZLING STEAMLINER and HEAVENLY HERCULES. Their design reminds me of Art Deco with a touch of steampunk design. For me it’s hard to decide which is better assembly or admiring the finished model.

Their customer service is excellent! My last question to them about a discount was answered the same day and that just doesn't happen these days. I'm still putting together the Heavenly Hercules (I'm retired and under no time constraints) , my next project will be the Steamliner, and I just supported Time4Machine's new Kickstarter and am buying the Rocketship (can't remember your official name for it). I'm hoping to get all these put together eventually. They are just fun to assemble! They have great products and service!

Mysterious Timer 2 was challenging but a lot of fun!
I received this remarkable product as gift from my wife.

It took me about 30 hours to assemble it, though a lot of that was carefully studying the directions because you really need to get it right -- going back and taking it apart to fix an error is next to impossible due to complexity and the "crimping" to hold parts together. While the instructions are largely just diagrams (with text that basically says "assemble it according to the diagram"), the diagrams are extremely detailed. That said, there were a couple of places where I wasn't clear on the exact placement of the pieces, though I was able to figure it out. There were also a few places where the details on how to crimp the pieces together weren't obvious based on the arrows shown in the diagram. But, again, I took my time, and was able to figure it out well enough to finish the model. This was my first model of this type, and I'm sure the next time it will be easier based on what I learned.

I do recommend obtaining the supplemental toolkit (which includes two additional needle-nose pliers, a file, and a tweezer), as some of the assembly was made much easier by having these tools instead of only the needle-nose pliers that come with the kit.

Customer service was really excellent! I lost one of the "gears" needed to make it work (my own carelessness), and after emailing support (I got an answer back within an hour) they mailed me the part I needed. Aleksandra was so helpful and her English is excellent.

As I said, this is challenging project, it requires a decent ability to visualize the model from the diagrams, and relatively strong and steady hands (for crimping and placing the parts). But, the results are impressive and pretty fascinating, and I have thoroughly enjoyed this experience.
