Poor customer experience.

Just phoned Titleist customer service - AWFUL. I need a replacement rain hood for a Titleist bag and the agent suggested that there was 'nothing they could do' for a customer directly and that I need to speak to a Retailer. Not sure why they are unable to deal directly with retail customers and why a retailer would have any interest in helping to resolve my problem. Poor customer experience.

Shocking service from Titleist.

I ordered a set of Titleist irons at the start of September 2021 plus 2 additional wedges. I was given a lead time of 6 weeks.

I eventually received the iron set just before Christmas, but am still waiting on the wedges! Their customer service seems non existent and there is no engagement from them anywhere based on my experience.

One of the additional wedges is a Vokey Sm8 which has now been superseded by a new Vokey wedge in the time I have been waiting! Thereby reducing the value of my club before I even hit it!

The only reason I have given them two stars is because the irons are actually very good and I really like them. This however is the first and last time I will buy from Titleist.

An update 4/4/22.

Having been told that I will not get my SM8 wedge, but have to wait for the SM9! My pro was told I would get my 53 degree wedge in February and my SM9 in March, yet here we are in April and no sign of either!

Titleist are a dreadful company to deal with!

StaDry Cart Bag

Having just read other reviews it looks as if I’m following a trend here. Purchased a Stadry bag in early 2020 which in common with other reviewers has proved to be anything but waterproof, particularly the valuables pockets. I’ve stuck with it but the zip in the hood has now detached itself and enquiry with Customer Support about purchasing another hood has met with no response on the three occasions I have tried. I’ve had Titleist equipment for a number of years now but this experience of poor customer support will certainly test my loyalty with the brand.

Titleist Sta Dry Cart Bag

I bought a Titleist Sta Dry Cart Bag 18 months ago, when it arrived it seemed ideal and appeared to be made of quality materials. After a few months 2 of the rain hood press studs detached, these were replaced under warranty although I had to have a black hood the bag was a teal blue. The two side pockets one is a valuables pocket are not waterproof, they should be but even with the zips closed correctly they both leaked.

I wasn't bothered by this as I don't keep anything perishable in there but still not good on a waterproof bag.
Recently despite 6 months off for covid one of the zips on the large side apparel pockets has come away from the bag causing the slider to detach. I contacted Titleist to enquire about a repair service, they don't have one, however, they told me to get in touch with the shop where I bought it and to return the bag to them, Titleist would then look at the bag and if in good condition they would provide me with a partial credit towards a new bag.
Quite happy with this I contacted the shop where I bought it and they then contacted Titleist who refused to help outright.

So I've completely wasted my time and the shops time, I've since sent Titleist two emails asking them for a response and they have ignored both.
Very disappointed, the sad thing is that had Titleist helped even a little bit I would have bought another of their bags, as it is this whole saga has put me off Titleist and I've now bought a replacement bag from another manufacturer. I'll never buy anything Titleist again.

Stadry Cart Bag Poor Quality

I purchased a Stadry Cart Bag in Nov 2019, I was impressed with the bag at first it seemed of good build quality and had everything I needed. The 2 side pockets one of which is a valuable pocket both leak, the others though are watertight so I overlooked that issue. But after a few months 2 of the metal pop on studs which attach the rain cover to the top came off, I reported this to the place where I purchased it and they sent me a replacement rain hood albeit in plain black rather than the colour of the bag, I accepted that though and was happy to have a fully functioning bag again.
More recently despite 6 months off because of lock down one of the large side zippers detached from the zip completely, this is because the zip is starting to come away from the tape which it is attached to.
My bag is now out of warranty, I emailed Titliest who advised me to return the bag to where I bought it and that they would then look at it, they may then offer me a credit towards a new bag.
I'm a bit torn as that involves posting it as I bought it online and there's no guarantee that Titliest will offer me anything.
I'm very disappointed in the bag, from such a well respected manufacturer such as Titliest I expected better. A lot better if I'm honest.
Since I wrote this review I contacted the place where I bought the bag as requested to do so by Titliest, they requested photos of the issue and said they would contact Titliest.
I received a reply a few days later saying that Titliest had refused to budge on the 1 year warranty.
I've since emailed Titliest again and an waiting for a reply not impressed.

En banal reparation har udviklet sig til en farce !!

En banal reparation (udskiftning af et skaft på mit 5 jern) har desværre udviklet sig til en farce

Farcens hovedaktør er Titleist Sverige:
Mit Titleist Ap3 5 jern mistede hovedet 2 gange indenfor 14 dage. Desuden skulle skaftet skiftes, og jeg indleverede det for 2. gang hos Golfexperten Denmark i Tilst, hvorefter de sendte det til Titleist i Sverige.
Det kom tilbage, MEN med et forkert skaft 😡. Helt ærligt, hvor svært kan det være, at se hvilket skaft der sad på jernet også bytte det ud med et magen til.
Så stod jeg så med et 5 jern med et AMT Black skaft i stedet for det rigtige AMT Tour White.
Jeg kan jo ikke kalde dem farveblinde, idet sort og hvid ikke er farver, men de er godt nok ikke særlig skarpe i deres syn.

Jeg fik en opringning fra Titleist Danmark -som hører under Sverige. Ham jeg talte med var rigtig flink og forstående, og undskyldte mange gange på deres vegne. Han besluttede, at jeg måtte beholde det gamle jern med forkert skaft, og samtidig ville de så lave og sende et nyt T200 med AMT Tour White skaft til mig.
Umiddelbart er det jo fin service og ikke en finger at sætte på den behandling. Han fik skriftligt specs. på mit 5 jern også ville Titleist i Sverige bygge det nye til mig, og sende det hurtigst muligt. Desuden sendte han også nogle bolde og og cap som ekstra kompensation, og det er heller IKKE der fejlen ligger (MEN hos dem der bygger jern i Sverige)

I dag kom så mit nye 5 jern i T200 modellen med korrekt AMT Tour White skaft.

MEN MEN MEN da jeg så ville sammenligne det gamle 5 jer med det nye kunne jeg med det samme fornemme, at de ikke er lige lange. Målte dem op og tjekkede også specs. hos Titleist og begge jern skulle måle 38"

Det nyt jern måler det samme som mit 6'er jern, 37,5"
Tænkte at det kunne ikke passe, så jeg gik grundig til værk og måle og lagde jernenen ovenpå hinanden, men der er ingen tvivl det er et 6'er skaft de så har sat på mit nye 5 jern................ Ved sku ikke om jeg skal grine eller græde.

Titleist i Sverige kan åbenbart IKKE finde ud af at sætte et korrekt skaft på deres egne jern og det er så uanset om det er et gammelt Ap3 jern eller et nyt T200 jern.........

Jeg er sku målløs !!! En af verdens største golfproducenter kludre rundt i den med 1 simpel ting - Et 5 jern med KORREKT SKAFT (GÆLDER ALTSÅ OGSÅ LÆNGDEN!!)

Non delivery of Product, 4 months waiting.

I was a loyal Titleist golfer, having had two complete fit outs from the National Titleist Fitting service in Carton House Ireland. Both occasions were of a fantastic experience and the fitter Mark O Mahony was super on both occasions.
This June I got fitted for the new 300 irons and wedges, which I'm happy with. I decided to complete my set and waited for the introduction of the new TSi range. This is where my frustration and disappointment starts. I was one of the first fittings and confirmed my order, it was completed in Carton house again by Mark (he mentioned that he was being made redundant but that the normal Titleist turnaround of 10 working days was assured.) I placed an order in good faith for Driver 3 Wood and FW Wood. I fully expected to receive my clubs within this period and certainly before any Brexit issue's or snags.
My only point of contact was Mark O Mahoney and even though he had left the Titleist he still tried to assure the delivery. At no stage did Titleist Ireland OR Titleist UK OR a titleist rep. make contact to give me an update as to where my clubs were. I have worked in Corporate Sales of a Premium Brand for the last 10 years or so and am fully aware of what the customer experience should be. Titleist have positioned themselves in the Premium High Cost bracket and the experience I have witnessed first hand is deplorable and below par to say the least. My annoyance and disappointment was further heightened when I was informed that Mr. O Mahoney requested on TWO separate occasions to re-order my clubs, this request was refused without any reason. Can I ask why this was the case.
In total I am waiting close on 4 months for clubs that have been paid for and were guaranteed delivery (as per your Official Website) within 10 working days.
For a company that holds an ethos of being customer centric and in touch with their fan base I question this to the core. In my experience THE CUSTOMER WAS NOT PLACED FIRST and the experience was allowed to fail.
I have left a message on the customer service portal my contact details are there and I await contact and a solution. Tony

Titleist StayDry cart bag

To say I'm extremely disappointed with my Titleist StayDry cart bag would be an understatement, I purchased it from a leading Irish retailer in July 2019 for €295 and with 4 month lockdown it is only in use for less than 11 months, in the past 3 weeks 3 of the waterproof zips, including the large one on the hood, have failed, the bag is now basically useless, I have always been extremely careful when opening and closing the zips so I will never even look at a Titleist bag again as it was by far the worst I have ever used.

Titleist StaDry Golf Bag should be renamed StaWet

Brought my husband a Titleist StaDry bag for his birthday in June, but wish I hadn’t bothered now. He tucked the car key in one of the pockets then when he came to take it out the key and fob were ringing wet. So much so he was unable to open the car electronically. Most pockets had leaked and let in water so golf gloves, treats to eat, spare socks, etc all wet. I have searched the house for my receipt but can’t find it. I can prove when we were in the store and when a payment was made to American Golf for £199 but American golf will not accept this. So £199 now down the drain as another bag needs to be purchased.

Awful customer service..Lied

Awful..paid 199 for a stadry cart bag, claims to be 100% waterproof..

My I phone got water damaged so I wrote to titleist explaining what had happened they asked me to return it to American golf were I bought it with a letter explaining what had happened.

I basically got no response and had to pester them for when Or what would would be happening.

4 weeks later I was told I would receive an upgraded bag as a way of saying sorry for my phone as they can’t pay for phone.
Picked the bag up from American golf today and it is exactly the same bag.

No response as to the damage to my phone.

Shocking customer service,every call They wouldn’t tell me where my bag was except for the one person that lied saying I would receive an upgrade as they don’t do compensation. no upgrade and nothing relating to damaged phone from a premium company who they claim there bag to be 100% waterproof.

Titleist StaDry Stand Bag

Very disappointed in this product. I purchased my first StaDry Titleist bag in May 2017. One of the vertical support struts split and Titleist replaced the bag under warranty. The replacement bag has now failed, this time where the fabric is riveted to the base of the bag, the fabric has torn away from the seam at the base. Even though this replacement bag is less that 1 year old, the warranty runs from when the first bag was purchased and Titleist are not prepared to offer any goodwill and give another replacement or render a repair or even suggest how it may be repaired. The bag is now unusable. I quite understand the replacement policy but am very disappointed that what is supposed to be a high quality bag, that has a RRP of £210, should fail like this so early in its life.

I do not recommend this bag at all. In my view it is are of very poor quality and prone to failure. I am also disappointed in the response from Titleist customer service.

I sent an email to customer service of Titleist to comment about the design faults of the carry bag I had bought, bearing in mind the reputation of Titleist.
The straps are in a plastic holder with a contained bar on 2 sides and incomplete bar on other 2, allowing the strap to come out, with the result of the weight of the bag dropping onto your shoulder.
The leg mechanism is contained in a clip plastic container and the legs would unclog from the mechanism causing the bar to collapse.
The reply said to go back to American Golf where I had purchased the bag. Although the problems started after 7 months I put up with but it was after a year after purchase so American Golf didn't show any interest.
I sent another email, stating the email was to point out the design faults in the bag.
I have now bought a Callaway bag andam very happy, Jackie Henley
