Tom W. Ayling Reviews

The condition of the book was exactly as described.

The book was packed safely and then shipped promptly, on the evening of the day I bought it.

Excellent service.

I found the entire process simple and easy. Tom was in contact the moment my parcel was shipped with my tracking information. The thing I found most pleasant was the note cards that Tom left in the books. They made my transactions and purchases feel personal to me and really offered comfort.

Amazing working with Tom! Not only did he help me find titles that I’ve been seeking out for ages (not to mention in absolutely pristine condition), but always provides genuine & tailored advice/insights on how to build a unique personal collection. Hands down — 10/10 quality experience!

This article was travelling to Australia, was securely sent and in a timely fashion. Would highly recommend.

What can I say except “Absolutely Amazing” from start to finish Tom’s personal touch and client rapport is beyond exceptional. His friendly and knowledgeable manner makes you feel at ease from the start; whether this is your first book to start your collection or you’re a seasoned professional collector after that grail item. I can honestly say it was a pleasure to purchase from Tom and that for me personally his guidance, knowledge, patience and understanding has made me a very loyal future client. I cannot recommend Tom enough, he and his business are truly brilliant.

Tom listens to his customers and strives to help them find the perfect book for their collection. It is a pleasure to work with him.

Great service and my book was packaged in such a way that it could not be damaged in transit, and there's a lovely hand written note from Tom, overall it felt like the service was of a personal nature.

Friendly and knowledgable bookseller.

Tom is totally fantastic. Very responsive and he packs the contents with the care of a surgeon. Totally wonderful to work with; highly recommend.

Lovely customer service, highly recommend.

This experience felt a lot more personal than my previous experiences of purchasing books online. The whole personalised hand-written note with the order part made me feel all special and warm inside. Absolutely would like to keep buying books from you in the future.

Very good care in the shipping and packaging, amazing item

The website was easy to navigate and easy to order from. What impressed me was that my books arrived in less than a week from the time I ordered. There was also a personal handwritten note from Tom with the books and that’s something I never get when ordering books. The whole experience was excellent!!

I have both bought from Tom's catalogue and asked him to source specific editions for me. His expertise, personal service, and packaging of books are excellent.

Great sale, very good communication and excellent packaging.

Mr. Ayling is always very responsive to inquiries/questions. Shipment is always very quick and the books are very carefully packed.

This was my third purchase and each and every time I have been extremelly satisfied with the quality of the books I have received, This third time the beauty of the Jane Austen collection I received was above and beyond all my expectations, even after seeing the books in pictures and videos. Shipping is always fast and the books well packaged. The website is simple and efficient. However, the best thing you are getting from Tom W. Ayling is the service. He goes above and beyond for his customers, always adding the little extra touches that make the experience all that much more pleasant. I would highly recommend doing business with him.

Fast shipping, great selection!

Nice book, genuinely nice to deal with
