HORRENDOUS APPALING EXPERIENCE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I ordered several parts from Torqen for my car, one of which I needed urgently. I called to confirm delivery, and they assured me "100%" that I would receive my order within the specified time frame. Despite multiple follow-ups, I received only vague responses.

On May 21st, I specifically asked if my order had been shipped. They confirmed it had been shipped from the US. However, after much back and forth, they admitted their US counterpart hadn’t shipped the order until May 24th. It became clear that this company was willing to lie to cover their mistakes.

I had to find the crucial part elsewhere. Despite this, I offered a reasonable solution: a partial refund and to cancel part of my order. They insisted it had already shipped. Frustrated by slow WhatsApp replies, I called them and spoke to Adrian Cherciu, the owner of Torqen. He was one of the rudest, most unprofessional, and sarcastic individuals I’ve ever encountered. He refused to accept any fault on behalf of the company. When I pointed out that a "100% guarantee" means something is assured, he took offense and abruptly ended the conversation. His sarcastic comment, "Would you like me to take a flight to get it?" was particularly unhelpful and exemplifies their poor customer service.

I returned the part to them, and they accused me of opening it, though I had photos showing the parcel was damaged upon delivery. Despite promising a refund by the end of the day, I have yet to receive it. I have escalated the issue to PayPal and will update as the situation progresses.

RESPONSE TO THEIR REPLY.
For everyone reading this the owner of the company is very immature and unprofessional. Please see his responses on Google and Facebook to gauge for yourselves. As previously said there I won't be entertaining his pettiness. Nor will I justify replying to his blatant lies.

Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We understand your frustration and regret any inconvenience caused during your recent experience with us. You've ordered 2 parts from TORQEN on Thursday 16/05/2024 17:12:07 after being advised on our business Whatsapp that the parts are not in stock in UK. On Friday we spoke to our supplier in USA and added these 2 parts to our order: 1 x Shift Boot Rubber and 1 x Ignition Switch. The supplier confirmed the parts are in stock and they've added to our order that will ship on Monday. It usually takes 3 days to have our orders delivered in UK. We also updated you via WhatsApp the items were ordered in USA. On Monday 9:43am you asked for an update and explained it's only Monday and we're waiting for our supplier to ship to UK. We asked our supplier again to ship Monday. We explained you that once the order arrives in UK you will get a tracking link by email to confirm your order being shipped, just like on your previous order. On Tuesday you asked for another update and again on Wednesday. We haven't received any emails from our supplier, despite chasing them several times a day and even call them. On Wednesday evening after UK working hours we received an email from our supplier apologising that they've been off sick and nobody was in the warehouse to ship to UK, therefore they will only be able to ship Thursday to UK. On Thursday morning we've updated you and apologised that the items won't arrive Friday as promissed, but immediately after the bank holiday weekend, on the next working day which was Tuesday 28/05/2024. We offered you two options: 1 - full refund, 2 - wait until Tuesday and will be shipped out for delivery on Wednesday. On Friday you asked again if we're willing to ship for guaranteed delivery for Wednesday and we agreed showing you the screenshots that 100% our order is delivered to us on Tuesday. No reply from you until Friday at 22:08 outside business hours which we didn't see until we returned to work on Tuesday. The items arrived on Tuesday and were shipped out for delivery on Wednesday as you requested, being successfully delivered on Wednesday. You called and asked to return one item, while being extremely rude and insulting. Despite that, we organised a DPD collection so there was no further cost for you. DPD picked up one item - the ignition switch on Thursday and delivered it to TORQEN on Friday. Despite you stating the item is no longer required, the original packaging was teared off and opened. We sent you a message explaining we received the item back and a refund will be done today, although you opened the original packaging. TYou simly lied to us saying we sent the item opened, obviously the tampered with the item. We explained we had CCTV in the packing area and the item was sent to you with the packaging intact. Within seconds you opened a PayPal case and left negative reviews everywhere. On your PayPal case you tried to ask for more money than the value of the item £124.45 instead of £114.26. We corrected the amount and PayPal refunded it closing the case with the following message: You've issued a refund of £114.26 GBP to Vaiharan Chithrarajah and this case has been closed.

No guarantee on defects!

I purchased an exhaust from them and the "burnt" color of the terminals was greatly damaged simply by handling it.
I asked for a partial refund, but they said they sold hundreds of them and never had any problems, so they won't refund anything.
Well.. what answer is this?
If an item is defective there is no warranty???
Absurd.

The discolouration you experienced appears to be the result of using strong chemicals to clean the tips as per our communication via emails. This type of damage is not covered under our warranty, which is designed to address manufacturing defects such as weld issues, rust, and corrosion. Please note that the discolouration does not affect the usability of the product; it is solely a cosmetic issue.

We have sold hundreds of these exhaust tips without previous issues of this nature. While we strive to accommodate all our customers' needs, we cannot offer a refund for damage caused by cleaning products outside our control.

We understand this is not the resolution you were hoping for and regret any inconvenience caused. If you have further questions or need assistance with future purchases, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Outstanding service by Torqen.uk

Amazing service. It was my first time purchasing from Torqen and definitely wont be the last. Adrian was more than great; he put up with my constant follow ups and was very patient and cooperative. His dedication to find and collect all parts for my 370z Nismo MK1 wing was outstanding. His support on the technical issue I faced when I was checking out to pay for the wing was very prompt and spot on. I can never thank him enough.

Torqen is the only way to go! Run don’t walk!

I’ve just purchased he most beautiful carbon bonnet from Torqen. The quality of the is just perfection and it came quickly and wrapped up brilliantly. The customer service was second to none and I will be 100% using Torqen again. I’m so grateful for all their help and I’ve already recommended them to a friend! 100/10 thank you!!

Great Comms and Buying Experience

I have used Torqen sporadically over the years but far more recently as I am looking to update the car. I have found the buying experiences and customer services excellent. They make contact promptly - they have shipped extremely quickly and when products need to come in they give a realistic date for shipment. The products I have fitted have been of a very high standard and I must really like them I have fitted their stickers to the car. Honestly they are one of my most favourite go to companies for mods.

Customer service

Customer service has been great and has greatly improved, I have had quick replies at times I didn’t expect, answering questions about products and applications and shipping etc. everything is packaged well or delivered by a courier. Some items are price match available and they’re working for their customer satisfaction

Absolutely great experience with Torqen…

Absolutely great experience with Torqen and would highly recommend using. I've recently bought an Invidia Cat back System for my Nissna 370z along with the Torqen Helmz test pipes. Customer service was perfect with regular updates about the orders and Adrian even managed to keep my order at the warehouse to be shipped for a time I was at home. I would highly recommend for online parts if you're after a quick and efficient way of getting parts.

Placed a big order with them last year…

Placed a big order with them last year (over £3000) and still haven't received all the parts.

I was ok for one...two month delay but now is too much.
I've sourced the parts frkm elsewhere and asked now cancellation and refund for the parts not received but....no more reply.

They are very quick to answer emails before the order is placed....but, if an issue appears, you will be ignored.

Also, don't be tricked into thinking these guys have good prices! There is an other shop in the states with almost half price!

I purchased an autometer oil pressure…

I purchased an autometer oil pressure gauge off of there website for £78.59 with the vat and postage, the next day I received an email stating that there has been a price increase, and they can not let me have it at this price. The new price would be £99 plus vat and postage, and was asked if I would like to pay the difference or cancel the order, I asked if it was in stock or would they have to order it in. They told me it would have to be ordered in, so I decided to cancel the order and asked for a refund as I could get it elsewhere cheaper. straight away. I was told I would receive a refund that day, but no refund has been issued to me, dispite numerous emails sent to them, no response, I went on there live chat and asked when I would receive my refund, and I was just fobbed off telling me I would receive it later that day, but as off 5 days later, still no refund has been issued, I have had to resort to opening a case against them through PayPal. My advice to anyone is to avoid this company a they clearly are ripping people off!

What can I say? Honestly hands down best service,communication and speed ever.
Adrian responded super quickly and efficiently to my request on a Saturday night for rare parts and sourced them in less than a week!
Highly recommended and will be back soon for more bits! Thank you

Bought a exhaust for a customer and…

Bought a exhaust for a customer and after a week contacted them to find out a rough idea for delivery, was told they would let me know, nothing week past and contracted them again and was told it’s no longer available, I wanted a refund and was told it would be handed over to the refund team and here I am still waiting for my money which is £1350!! Can’t get through to them do not answer emails or phone calls now blocked on facebook, DO NOT USE THIS HORRENDOUS COMPANY!!! Handed over to bank to recover money, this should not be allowed to happen and should not be allowed to carry on trading
