Before I actually decided on Torro, I had already spoke with over 6 other companies. I like the conversation with Zack who had all my concerns answered. TORRO was quick and thorough. Once they submitted my paperwork, I got approved for just under $80,000 and it only took less than one week. They under promised and over performed as they said that with my profile, 40k to 50k can get approved.

Alfonso was diligent and thorough. He made sure all aspects were explained and understood. His team followed up in a timely manner and made it happen.

This company is a lie. They do not offer start up funding and just want you to pull a credit report and send to them. This is a scam and you will not receive funding.they toss you around and send you to person and no get you funding.

I recently applied for startup funding for my business and initially worked with Gustavo Flores (Startup Funding Manager) and Manny Trevino (Funding Coordinator). Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely frustrating and unproductive.

After submitting all requested documentation, including a financial backer with a 760+ credit score, I was repeatedly told that the application was declined due to a “lack of active history with major banks.” Despite the strong credit profile, I was informed that I would need to find a different person to back the application.

What’s most concerning is the lack of transparency. I sent multiple emails requesting clarification on underwriting benchmarks, including:

• Minimum credit score requirements
• Required number of major bank trade lines
• Length of time accounts must be open
• Revenue or time-in-business thresholds
• Whether requesting a smaller funding amount would impact the decision

I also expressed that I was open to adjusting the funding amount, modifying terms, providing additional documentation, or exploring alternative programs. Unfortunately, I never received clear answers to these questions.

Additionally, when I called to try to get clarification, I was hung up on multiple times while asking reasonable questions about the process. That level of customer service is unacceptable, especially when someone is trying to start a business and is seeking professional guidance.

If there are specific underwriting criteria, they should be clearly communicated upfront instead of giving applicants the runaround. Transparency and professionalism go a long way, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

I would not recommend this company based on the lack of communication, clarity, and professionalism I encountered.

I'm writing this review because I was extremely happy with the way Joshua Morales handled my business loan process. He was very informative on what services that Torro offer every step of the way and made sure that my company got the right and best funding to fit our needs at this time. I can't thank you enough Joshua for your customer service and your willingness to help my company succeed. Awesome job and I will highly recommend your company's services to anyone needing funding. Torro is the way to go!!!!

Josh Stapley and Jarrad Carolan were awesome to work with. They explained everything clearly and worked with me to get me the funding I needed to grow my business. The process was smooth and went quickly, which was awesome. I would highly recommend!! I would give 10 stars if I could!
