I had a really disappointing experience…
I had a really disappointing experience with the “signature” and “luxury” pedicure at Townhouse and definitely would not recommend it.
For the price, I expected a proper luxury pedicure experience, but the setup was extremely basic. Your feet are simply placed in a bowl, the chair is uncomfortable, and there is no proper massage chair or relaxing pedicure setup.
What made the experience even worse was being charged extra for things such as drinks and slippers, and then being asked for a tip on top of an already expensive service. The payment process also felt extremely rushed, with staff asking for payment almost immediately after the treatment. This made the experience feel uncomfortable and transactional rather than relaxing.
I live in Harrow, and the pedicure salons near me are far more reasonably priced while providing a much better experience. They offer complimentary drinks, comfortable massage chairs, friendly and helpful staff, and proper foot massages and scrubs as part of the pedicure without constantly adding extra charges.
Unfortunately, Townhouse felt extremely overpriced for what was provided. The service simply did not match the price or the “luxury” description. I certainly won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a genuinely relaxing or luxurious pedicure.

Amazing pedicure from Ramune!
Ramune did my pedicure today and I totally love my new gel nails. I changed the colour choice and she was happy for me to try different shades of pink. The choice of pink shades was a bit limited in my opinion, but overall I was pleased with the lighter pink shade.

Loyal customers not valued
“I have been a loyal client at Townhouse Guilford for around18 months, visiting regularly and bringing several friends and family for treatments. So it was deeply disappointing when my appointment was cancelled with just over 24 hours’ notice and only a £5 voucher was offered.
I went into the branch to discuss it and asked to speak to the manager. The manager knows me personally as a regular client, but her response was dismissive and I felt unhelpful.
I was essentially told they were short-staffed and that these things happen. I completely understand staffing issues arise, but how loyal clients are treated when problems occur really matters.
It’s such a shame because I’ve genuinely loved the treatments themselves. Unfortunately, after this experience, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
