I can't access my account online so have decided to close my account and go with another company. After multiple attempts trying to deal with this new and pointless enforced portal, I give up.......

New tradepoint / trade uk app ( portal ) is truly inept on many levels from basic design/ outdated / old fashioned etc etc etc .

Shocking service.
Delivery time slot came and went, when I called I was told it’s still on the way then I call again and get told it’s been scheduled for some other random day.

Should have read these terrible reviews first obviously.

Wrong item delivered, reported straight away but nothing happened. I spent so much time chasing this, being passed about, cut off and regularly been put on hold. At one point I was told that I had the correct product and I was making it up. On what basis!

Last time I rang I was promised an urgent call back from a manager, that was 5 days ago.

This is customer service of the lowest, lowest order. Shame on you TradePoint.

(Why do I have to give them 1 star? They've done nothing to earn it.)

Order never came - but they still kept my money.
Ordered something to be delivered and 3 months later I'm still chasing them to find out when I'll be refunded as it never showed. Every time I'm told that it's been escalated and I'll hear back within 48 hours.
Shameful company. Will never use again.

I wish I’d read these reviews of TradePoint before ordering 8sq m of vinyl floor tiles. What a total disaster of a simple order and delivery. I’ll keep it short.
Ordered online. Order was confirmed with a delivery date and told I’d receive a 2hr window. All good so far. The time slot came and went and a few hours later I was told by phone the driver was sick. I’d waited at the site with the customer since early morning.
A new delivery was arranged for later that week. The delivery was incorrect. One pack the wrong colour went back with the driver. On inspection another pack was damaged. After several days of hearing nothing I called customer services (in s. Africa). They promised a call back from the hub within 3 days (now nearly 2 weeks in). The call never came. I called C Services again. Another promise of a call. It never came. I called again and this time I was put on hold while C Sevices called the hub and then I was connected to the hub who was completely unaware of what had been going on. How could that be when they’d been contacted by their own customer services twice and the returning driver.
A new delivery for the two replacement packs was arranged. Delivery van arrive a few days late to collect the broken pack ( which they already had) and the incorrect colour pack. The driver had no information on delivering the missing replacements, only a collection. Now almost 3 weeks. Down to help from the driver and his direct line to the hub I eventually got my two packs on another van.
I wrote a similar review on the TradePoint feedback but they wouldn’t publish it as ‘it didn’t meet their guidelines’. I wasn’t rude or insulting. I just reported my disbelief at the incompetence and lack of respect for their customers.
TradePoint……Never Again.

Delivery is a nightmare. Waiting all day for plasterboard. I was told it was due from 07:30 - 09:30. I spoke to someone at 4pm who said it must be delayed! I won't bother with them again

I ordered two pairs of trousers and that included free delivery. Only one pair arrived. I called the helpline and she assured me the second pair would be sent out. Next thing I get is a partial refund because they didn't send the trousers and then charged me delivery on the first pair! No fault of my own. Outrageous!

Don’t touch this lot. Their delivery driver insisted on dropping 3full sheets of ply at my front door when I asked him to go 10ft further to my garage. Told him where to shove his delivery. Edinburgh based layabout

Bought a garden storage box and found that they had given me a returns item with all the fittings missing. When I took it back, they said they don't give out returns even though I showed then that the packaging and the fittings were missing and the outside packaging was all taped. very disappointed with customer service that they would not agree that it was a returns box .

Rang the helpline to query a failed discount online purchase. Claire on the help desk sorted this error out very quickly. I want to thank Claire for her excellent telephone manner and professionalism, a credit to her employers. It is not about the error but how a company sorts out the error.

UPDATE: Two years on and still not settled.
Bought a kitchen from B&Q over two years ago.
Cue months of problems with the design, order, delivery, quality, faults, returns, and both shop and delivery personnel. Just ONE person - Linda - really tried to get a grip on the mess, but even she is battling the B&Q/Tradepoint "system". A final refund of £350, offered months ago, accepted a month ago, and agreed to be paid within a week, has STILL not materialised. The girl's a trier and deserves a medal. Me? I'd NEVER order a kitchen from B&Q again and I recommend nobody else does.

Ordered some dehumidifiers and told deliver would be 12th December. Email confirmation and also an email confirmation from DPD stating deliver and rough time. This time came and went with no delivery. Spoke to Tradepoint only to be told a refund was given as that there's zero stock. No communication from Tradepoint, B&Q or DPD.

Ordered a new kitchen in January and using B&Q recommended contractors for the installation. Half the items were missing on the scheduled delivery date therefore had to reschedule the installation. Again key items missing on second delivery date so had to reschedule installation, this occurred again on a number of occasions.
Eventually got to to start date and found fixings missing from boxes, was advised that B&Q had 2 software systems that did not speak to each other hence missing fixings. Opened some boxes and found completely different units inside to that listed on the box.
To cut a long story short, eventually had kitchen installed (many thanks to the install team in dealing with the significant failings of B&Q) without them I was in the mind to cancel everything and send the lot back.
Now come to arranging collection of surplus bulk items, have had three dates which have all been and gone and still no confirmed collection, during all this absolutely abysmal service from B&Q I have lost numerous days pay whilst having to take time off work, am looking into seeking legal advise on how to proceed.

Just starting out to do small jobs so duly opened account. I used to use B&Q quite a lot so naturally thought it was a sensible thing to do.
Placed an order on Monday 23rd May for delivery te following Monday
Received text on the Saturday before just to confirm
Monday came and went so chased. Coming Tuesday, asked what happened to Monday no response. Tuesday came and went. on Wednesday asked what happened, oh its booked in for Saturday. Went to cancell the order and then it was decided it could come Thursday. Still no apolgy or reasoning for none delivery. Thursaday came and went so canceled the order and went to Wickes. I was promised a full refund with part done at the time. recieved an email to confirm my new order for the rest of the materials so had to explain it was cancelled. Customer services promised to look into the situation but hey ho no response. They just dont care.

I've ordered a shelf unit for my garage from B&Q (TradePoint) Reading, it was delivered by Peter. Peter was extremely helpful & helped to put the heavy item into my garage, really appreciated.

Ordered CLS timber and 2440 X 1220 chipboard flooring via Tradepoint account online. Delivered as promised to rural area with no dramas
All material is ok no damage

Big shout out to tbe two delivery guys who carried the timber etc to where I wanted it

I have never had a problem with trade delivery from my local branch at York

Just ordered a clever spa, paid for it, money got taken out of my bank then had an email to say that it was out of stock and that it will take 2 weeks to refund me. I haven’t got the money to order another one. Myself and my family are very disappointed with this service. Won’t be ordering from them again!

I would like to give a big thank you to Neil at the Sunderland B&Q who helped me with some pipes. Excellent service and B&Q should be happy with this member of staff. Thanks Jeanette

Trade point doncaster. Should be ashamed of yourselfs! Would like an explanation as to why its so hard to get a refund on one door! None of the staff are trained properly as they are clueless in sorting anything for you. 3 times I had to come back just to get a refund on 1 door. The system is shoddy and needs improvement as I won't be using them again.
