Traditional Beams Reviews

Excellent company to deal with from placing the order to delivery. I was kept informed every step of the way. The quality & finish of my order is perfect. As I wanted a custom size I needed help as I didn’t really know what I was doing so I e-mailed them & had very prompt replies to my various questions with great advice on different options as to sizes & prices. I was also able to pay with Apple Pay they generated an order through Shop which was also very convenient.

The product and customer service is excellent!

Recently ordered a beam for my fireplace. I phoned customer service to arrange a different delivery date and had a few questions on other products too. I spoke to Carly who was great. Everything was sorted for me, she followed up with me and was great to talk to. Will be recommending to my friends and family.

The service we received from start to finish was amazing. The quality and look of the window beam is outstanding. We can’t wait to put it up. :)

Great customer service, site easy to use. Bought a large beam for my fireplace, looks amazing. Amazing quality..I was sent instructions how to put on the wall which was easy to follow. Great company to buy from.
Informed when it was being delivered will use again

I ordered a thick floating shelf that was delivered within a couple of weeks. Great quality and excellent VFM. Highly recommended.

Absolutely delighted with the beam. It looks so rustic but with a beautiful shine to it. Iv not actually got it in the wall yet but once I do I’ll show some pics. I ordered the walnut which I was worried it may be too dark but it’s exactly like it shows online. Would definitely recommend traditional beams.

Great customer service.

We had a lot of issues, the shelves did not match the sample we ordered and there were some brackets missing.

However Catherine ensured that everything was rectified and put right promptly. She really looked after us and made sure we were satisfied with what we paid for by changing the colour and sending the right brackets.

The end result is that the shelves look absolutely amazing- extremely good quality and finished to a very high standard.

We would not hesitate to use this company again and will recommend to family and friends.

Thank you so much Traditional Beams for creating such beautiful shelves for our home!

We felt very confident throughout the process, from selecting the beam, making enquiries and receiving it. Any queries we had were resolved by knowledgeable staff which gave us the confidence to make an order. We kept getting updates regarding progress and soon we had the beam. It was perfect, no twists or bends, we'll finished and had a fantastic grain. The web site has very useful instructions regarding fitting. Thank you so much.

Superb service, and the product is fantastic quality

My 2 shelves Arrived on time and were exactly as I expected. You can tell they are well made and look perfect in my bedroom. Easy to put up and all the fixings are supplied within the package. One very satisfied customer.

Cautious to get the right colour i ordered 3 extortionate samples costing £1 each for a very tiny piece (unlike floor companies who send several large pieces free) I chose one, and comparing it to every picture I could find ordered rugger brown. I wanted a darkish colour, but what came can only be described as mid oak. Many shades different to the sample. My husband does woodwork, i fully understand natural products can vary, but it shouldn't have been that much difference! Which upon contacting them was the excuse i was given. Apparently rugger brown is just a wax, not a stain. They did offer to send me a sample pot of the wax for another coat which I dont feel would have made much difference. (Or return it, at my own cost ...) my husband sanded it, I bought a "dark oak" stain, 2 coats and wax was enough to be like the sample i was sent. So beware if you want anything darker than a medium oak, and dont bother wasting money on samples which are nothing like the beams look.

I have 2 shelves already which I purchased end of February ,they are absolutely lovely, I was so impressed with them that I ordered another one straight away. They are beautifully made and finished. Having the brackets come with them is very handy and they are also very heavy and well made.

All I can say is brilliant - excellent service, arrived quickly and are such beautiful wood. All the instructions for putting the shelves up were easy to follow and took into account any/all wall types too. Thank you

Although I ordered a beam that was advertised as reclaimed it had very little character unlike the pictures on the website. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a lovely looking beam just not as gnarly as the pictures suggest I should expect so I am a little disappointed

Good looking well made shelves, we have bought three now and they look really good. Easy and excellent company regarding ordering emails to keep you up to date and delivery.

Absolutely stunning. We have had so many amazing compliments. Recommend to everyone
