This company is the worst 3rd party budget travel company I have ever used. Booked a ticket, received a confirmation, saw the money leave my account should have been a simple transaction. the following day they tried to charge additional money because the fare had increased. This is scummy and also illegal I will never use them. You can't change the price after a good has been paid for.

Once payment is received, a payment confirmation is issued; however, the booking is not fully confirmed until the ticket has been issued. Once the ticket has been issued there is an additional confirmation mail sent. We understand that changes in fare availability between payment and ticket issuance can be frustrating. Our team works to secure bookings at the confirmed price wherever possible, but where airline pricing changes in real time, this can affect the final ticketing outcome. Traveasy does not send any booking confirmation until the ticket is issued. If we are unable to issue the ticket at the price you have paid, the customer will receive a full refund. Therefore, we do not see any wrongdoings here. We remain committed to ensuring our booking process and communications are as clear as possible for all customers.
Charged me £50 admin fee for cancelling…
Charged me £50 admin fee for cancelling a flight within ONE HOUR of booking that o realised was on the wrong date (and refused to change to correct date one day earlier). The Indian customer service rep was so rude and pompous. Unbelievable. Don’t book with them! They have 2.5 starts rating (wish I’d checked before booking..)

The cancellation charges were applied in accordance with our policy because the travel date selected by you at the time of booking was incorrect. Therefore, the applicable cancellation fees remain valid under the booking terms and conditions. Our previous response accurately reflects the circumstances of this case, and we have no further information to add.
Easy flight change via phone
Initially booked a flight for £250. They emails me to say I had to pay an extra £50. Total £299. I found the actual airline had a perfect flight two hours later for £297. Jhanvi changed my flights so I could make that one for no extra cost. Great help

Please don’t be tempted by the price
Please don’t be tempted by the price. All airlines have a 24 hour cancellation policy. I realised immediately on booking that I’d made a mistake on the date. The Indian man on the phone was so rude and unhelpful and said despite it being within 24 hours which every airline and travel agent conforms to by law, they would only cancel with a fee! Outrageous. I will let ba know not to use unscrupulous operators like this to sell their tickets.

You have confirmed that the incorrect travel date was selected by you at the time of booking. Our booking process is customer-led and automated, and tickets are issued based on the details selected and submitted by the customer.
There is no blanket rule that all airline tickets can be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours, particularly where a booking has been made through a travel agent and is subject to the airline’s fare rules. Traveasy is able to display such competitive prices as these prices are governed by strict fare rules which may differ from your conventional understanding of airline ticketing. Traveasy cannot absorb costs arising from a customer selecting the wrong travel date.
We also do not accept the allegation that our staff were rude or unhelpful. Our team explained the applicable process and charges clearly and accurately.
We would ask that your review accurately reflects the facts: the issue arose because the wrong date was selected during the booking process, and any charges applied were due to the airline’s fare rules and conditions, not because of any misconduct by Traveasy.

Passenger details, including names, are entered directly by the customer through our automated booking system. The information provided at the time of booking is submitted for ticket issuance exactly as entered. There is no manual retyping of passenger names by our team, and therefore no scope for human error on our part in this process.
Where a customer enters incorrect details, any correction is subject to the airline’s rules, procedures, and charges. These charges are determined by the airline and must be paid before any amendment can be made.
Traveasy cannot be expected to absorb costs arising from an error made by the customer during the booking process. We are a commercial business and are required to apply airline and supplier terms consistently.
We would ask that your review accurately reflects the facts, including that the issue resulted from incorrect passenger details being entered at the time of booking, rather than any error made by Traveasy.

Hassle not at all worth the money saved. Felt like a scam.
Advertised cheap ticket and then tried to get me to pay more in order for me to receive my ticket or I could pay for a refund. The hassle is not worth the money saved and chances are you’ll end up paying more or the same as buying a ticket directly from the airlines sight or from a more trusted third party.
