Excellent experience, with everything handled by competent staff.

AG provided an itinerary that was exactly what we hoped for. From the start, the communication from AG was excellent and immediate even during our holiday. The holiday exceeded all our expectations whether it was accommodation, location, trips, guides, food, flora and fauna !

Planning this trip with Christian was a great experience, he was very patient and professional as we worked through options before finalising our 22 night adventure. From there the trip was seemless, with so many amazing experiences including: Lentorre Lodge in the Rift Valley - Kenya, wildlife night photography in their purpose built hide. Koroi Forest Lodge in Arusha National Park Tanzania for Colobus & Blue monkeys plus amazing birds, Olmara Camp in the eastern Serengeti and Esirai Mobile Camp in the northern Serengeti for big and small cats and so much more, then rounding it out with Mbali Mbali at Gombe National Park for 4 days trekking with Chimpanzees in the footsteps of Jane Goodall's research.
All the logistics for internal flights, road transfers and any overnight stays between camps where managed by AG, making our life easy.

My first experience planning a safari from overseas and a skeptic by nature, and here I am a week back from one of the best trips of my entire life! It was seemless and perfect from start to finish with no stress, and one of the travelers in our party had a VERY complicated and atypical journey there, and they accomplished it timed perfectly. Christian can be a little high pressure in getting you sorted, but don't let that scare you off. He's just serious about setting up a perfect trip within your budget. Will use again for the next trip! 👍👍

We had an initial discussion with the agent (Christian) and he responded with a very well done preliminary itinerary. After a review conference call he made a few tweaks to meet our preferences and that became our final trip. It was a fantastic plan. We really enjoyed each of our three different accomodations; each was outstanding but unique in their own way.

I felt comfortable with Stef from the start and that continued when Wayne joined the team. Communication was clear and response times to questions couldn’t have been faster. Each time I read my itinerary, the excitement rose and when it came time to start the trip, all fell into place and my time in Brazzaville and Odzala-Kokoua for Gorilla Watching was truly memorable. Camp Imbalanga is charming, the team friendly and professional, the food… amazing, the activities, with the baï and mirador where you watch the gorilla families that frequent the natural clearing is only 3 mins walk from the camp. The freedom of this program appealed to me as I could come and go as much as I wanted to. Added guided activities whether in Brazzaville or Odzala were exciting and well-run with very knowledgeable guides. I recommend adding a night in Brazzaville at the beginning as the journey to Congo plus the long drive to the park would mean two days of travelling so I enjoyed the full-day sightseeing of Brazzaville to break that up.

Very well organised itinerary everything works so well.
Christian is so knowledgeable that he can tailor the trip to suit both your wishes and your budget.
We were unfortunate that storms earlier in summer had changed the game.
The camps were perfect for what we wanted and Goliath Camp was very comfortable with great food and service with the best guide you can ever wish for.
Kavinga was a special well run camp, great staff and food.
Pity that the viewing was a bit compromised by the recent heavy rainfall but it will come back and we still did see a decent amount of game. Accommadation was very nice but design of rooms can get a bit cool if it is cold and windy.
Can only look forward to the next trip.

As a bucket list trip this did not disappoint. Africa Geographic staff planned an amazing South African adventure to help me see as many small mammal species as were willing to show themselves during my visit.
The planning and logistics team of Ross Exler and Tracie Walker listened to my wishes, and made suggestions and tweaks until they both felt the trip would meet my dreams, and they weren't wrong.
The budget I set was adhered to, with a full itinerary that required a lot of curating. Every step worked without a hitch, much to my amazement!
I had incredible animal encounters, much closer than I had hoped for, and the local staff were without fail helpful, thoughtful, good communicators and extremely knowledgeable.
I was in good hands from my 1st email sent to the welcome message as I stepped through my front door on my return.
The camps were nestled in bush country, but provided exceedingly comfortable accommodation, and the food was plentiful and high quality.
A trip I will never forget, with a company I would highly recommend.

We have just returned from an incredible 3 week safari to Botswana and Zimbabwe organised by Stef from Africa Geographic. He understood our particular interests and came up with the perfect itinerary. Everything went according to plan - all flights, pick ups etc were seemless. We kept in contact with Stef via Whatsapp before, during and after our trip. He was genuinely interested in our experience and very happy for us that everything went well. Major highlight was seeing wild dogs on several occasions including adults and pups in a den.

We asked for a real out of the box experience with no busses and crowds, just a personal touch. It was accomplished. We were there to see the animals no cities and they delivered. The tent camps were mostly great, the organization was outstanding and the staff and guides were mostly first rate. The 2 week trip met and exceeded our expectations. We loved being in the bush with experienced guides and no crowds. The most we had at any camp was 10 guests. Most camps were just 5 guests. The Africa Geographic staff kept us informed and answered all questions. I would use their services again in the future.

I have traveled to 35 African countries and enjoyed dozens of Safaris. Okavango Origins offered the best experience. Because it's outside the national park, you can experience night drives and off roading. The variety of animals was marvelous . We saw a leopard come down from a tree in front of us ,then saw lions crouched, ready to strike cape buffalo on our drive from the airstrip! Following a large pack of wild dogs as they hunted a cape buffalo calf was the highlight.The staff personalized the safari experience .
If you've done one African safari, you need to travel with African Geographic for the next trip. You'll be amazed at the difference .

I had an absolutely incredible experience traveling through Rwanda and Tanzania with Africa Geographic. From start to finish, everything was seamless and so thoughtfully planned.
As a solo female traveler, my advisor, Luis, made sure every detail of the trip was perfect and exactly what I envisioned. Seeing the gorillas in Rwanda was everything I could have asked for and truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and watching the Great Migration in Tanzania was absolutely unforgettable.
Luis and Lumbani took care of everything along the way, from transportation and arrivals to coordinating extra excursions, so I never had to worry about logistics and could just enjoy the experience. Even while traveling between different locations and countries, I always felt like everything was handled.
I couldn’t have asked for a better trip or team to plan it. I would absolutely recommend Africa Geographic and will definitely be using them again for future adventures!

We were a group of 11 and Linda Fox was able to create an intinerary that was pleasing and exciting for all. From our first stop in Cape Town and seeing the African penguins; to Babylonstoren where there were activities for all from ages 4 to 81; our extensive safari rides at Mala Mala where we did get to see the "big five;" and finally spectacular Victoria Falls. It was a trip of a lifetime!

Ross was excellent at planning and keeping me informed. Our guide, tracker, camp manager, and chef were all extremely kind, generous, and knowledgeable. We saw incredible wildlife, ate delicious food, and met other friendly travelers. I highly recommend Africa Geographic for any African travel destination you would like to embark on.

Planning and execution with Linda were excellent for a family safari from 21 July to 1 August 2026. We were 11 family members, with ages ranging from 4 to 80. Ensuring everyone was comfortable, safe, and having a great experience was a top priority. Everyone did have a memorable experience. When our short flight had an unexpected stop, Linda was on it, making sure we would catch our next flight.

What an experience. I worked with Ross Exler of Africa Geographic. Ross helped plan our trip to meet our wishes. The trip was 14 days. Lots of hours on planes and jeeps but well worth it. Our first stop was Johannesburg (2 nights) Took a tour and learned of the history of Johannesburg, then flew to Maun and was picked up by Okavango Origins. Stayed 3 nights, then flew to Chobe. Stayed at Chobe Elephant Camp for for 2 nights, then drove to Victoria Falls for 2 nights, then flew to Cape Town. All travel was perfectly curated and fun.

Ramona and Tracie listened to our intentions and ran with them! They checked all our boxes, including birthday and anniversary celebrations in the Mara. Our itinerary was seamless, traveling to four different destinations and always being met on time for our flights and transfers. Communication was easy with questions along the way as well. Porini Lion Camp, Saruni Samburu, and Lewa presented themselves with all the magic and awe that only Safari can bring. So glad we went with this company and with such professional and competent staff. Thanks to all for a once in a lifetime experience.

This was our second trip with Africa Geographic, having traveled with them in both 2025 and 2026, and once again they exceeded every expectation.
Stefan Winterboer and Wayne Van Driel organized an incredible 19-day adventure, including 13 days self-driving through Kruger National Park and 3 unforgettable days at Nthakeni Bush & River Camp. While both played an important role, I would especially like to recognize Stefan, who devoted an extraordinary amount of time, attention, and care to my son Tim and me throughout the planning process and during the trip itself.
During our 13 days in Kruger, we drove more than 1,600 km inside the park, completed the Big Five in just three days, and enjoyed unforgettable wildlife encounters, from lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and crocodiles to wild dogs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, kudu, impala, wildebeest, warthogs, ostriches, baboons, a Mozambique Spitting Cobra, and countless magnificent birds.
Two moments will stay with us forever: a 45-minute standoff with a herd of elephants on a narrow road, and spending more than 20 minutes driving alongside a leopard as it moved through the bush.
What impressed me most was Stefan's dedication. He checked in on us almost daily, answered questions, shared local knowledge, and genuinely cared that we were having the best experience possible. His recommendation to end our journey with 3 nights at Nthakeni Bush and River Camp was the perfect finishing touch.
As my son said while looking through our photos after we returned home:
"Just even looking at these animals, I can even smell them."
That says everything.
I cannot recommend Africa Geographic, Stefan Winterboer, and Wayne Van Driel highly enough. The trip may be over, but the memories will stay with us forever.

Amazing trip to Mana Pools in Zimbabwe and Caprivi strip in Namibia. The pre-trip planning and follow up and availability of advice/support by Christian Boix was (as usual) first rate' Highlights were walking up to elephant and then sitting on the ground to watch with Stretch Ferreira in Mana Pools and excellent night drive in Nkasa Luala in Caprivi strip. Well organised and thoroughly enjoyable holiday
