Life changing (or at least work changing). It's one of those products that I adopted instantly because it answered a real need and it's now so integrated into my workflow that I can't imagine not having it. I record an interview, upload it to Trint, and get the transcript within minutes. The transcription isn't always perfect (it is pretty darn good) but going in and tweaking it is super easy because the audio file plays along with the transcription. Being able to export just highlighted sections is also genius. I never do reviews actually but this one I'm willing to vouch for.

WOW! Absolutely AMAZING.
I shot video interviews. Sound was very good. I outputted audio files and used Trint. For speakers who speak clearly and without too many stops and starts this software was close to FLAWLESS. Pretty close to 100%.
I don't need to go through and correct for my project but if I did it wouldn't take too long. I've needed this for years but didn't believe anything could approach the ease and accuracy of Trint. Definitely is saving me 20 hours of work on this first project I am using Trint for. THANK YOU Trint!

Simple and quick service for upload and transcribing. It's as good as the quality of audio you provide. Podcast or studio quality audio comes back flawless. Phone or Skype interviews have some inconsistencies, but the playback in-transcript makes it easy to review and revise the copy in Trint.

I am a PhD student using this program for transcriptions of interview data. It is really, REALLY, good. Much less expensive than hiring a transcriptionist. I hardly ever write reviews. But I can't believe how much time I will save using this program. I am very impressed - this is such a great product. I am going through an listening now. It won't capture naturalist speech - any utternaces like ums or ohs. You will also have to change punctuations and where sentences begin and end. You also have to edit to indicate when you are talking versus the other person. And some words that it captures are incorrect. Basically, you will have to go back and listen to the whole thing and edit (although you would have to do that even if you hired a professional transcriptionist). But it is such a great program. I wish they had a student pricing option because it is still rather expensive. My hope is that our university will purchase the software subscription.

No transcribing service is perfect but one with this speed and accuracy (like I said, it is not 100% but it is definitely the best after trying a few), I swear by Trint. I wish they were a bit more affordable but don't we all wish everything in this world can be more affordable. If you are looking for speed and close to 90% accuracy (I have used Trint for interviews with people from the Philippines, Singapore, America, Malaysia & Indonesia), Trint is for you.

It's great -- makes my job so much easier. I don't have to waste time transcribing interviews/audio. I can get a head start on stories, and big projects seem less daunting. Remarkably accurate transcription, too, as long as people are on-mic.

I’m quite overwhelmed by my discovery of Trint. This is the holy grail of transcription tools! A technology that can take multiple voices, with vastly different accents and produce a transcript with a level of accuracy that previous tools couldn’t achieve, even just on a single voice. The recordings have to be good quality and the voices well recorded, but that’s obvious. Fully time-code synced text and audio is something I’d only heard whispers about. As a former journalist and now a full-time PhD student with mountains of interview material to process, this changes everything.

I was actually blown away with how accurate, cheap, amazingly quick and easy Trint was to use. Blown away. Trint is where I'll go for all my transcription needs. Thanks guys!

Wow! What an awesome very useful online tool to transcribe my important audio file interviews. One of my favorite features is the HTML Export that converts all the highlighted text into a neatly packed index file to upload to my website. Great job guys! LOVE LOVE LOVE this service!

This is the best automatic transcription software I've ever seen. And I've worked with transcription services both computerized and manual for years. Trint.com somehow edged out my most reasonably-priced transcriptionist contractor by delivering a stronger value even than she can. From a loyal customer with multiple accounts!

Really helpful for transcribing interviews. Would love a student pricing option, but it's really quick to transcribe the files and the interface is easy to use.

Trint is, literally, what I've been waiting for. As a documentary film maker, we're always challenged with smaller budgets than we'd like, and work hard to stretch every dollar. Trint will save us thousands of dollars in transcription costs, AND speed up the process. Honesly, you could't want more.

I was searching for a quick, cost effective way to transcribe a few hours of interviews and was getting frustrated with auto-transcribers that didn't work and transcribing services that cost a lot and took more time than I had. I was absolutely overjoyed when I did the 30 minute free trial with trint and found it picked up words with great accuracy and at less cost than the other solutions. So glad Trint exists as it enabled me to meet a tight deadline. A high quality solution that I'd recommend in a heart beat.

Best transcription software I have used. They offer a ton of formats and start time editing, accurate voice recognition, and super easy to use. Just upload and it transcribes for you, then pretty minimal editing. Even worked great with multiple participants. Saves a ton of time, which translates into money. They also have super responsive customer support. It’s not free, but it won’t break your bank either.

I find Trint very helpful to my work as a researcher. It saves me a lot of time. I still have to go through the entire interview and fix it up, but I don't have to transcribe hours of audio. I would put the rate of accurate is roughly 75%.

My research participants are native English speakers (Australian) so I can't comment on non-English speaker experience. On the whole, I like it and highly recommend it.
