Don’t buy anything in the shop until you have checked there online price.we paid £149 for a carousel that we could have brought from them online for £94 minus 10% for first purchase and free delivery.we was robbed.

Ordered a lighted acrylic christmas animal from the Trowell Garden Centre because their price was cheapest of any online retailer.

The item is quite fragile and can break easily. When the parcel arrived today, I was very impressed to see how well the box was packaged. Individually wrapped in bubble wrap and then surrounded by larger pillow bubble wrap, then placed in a larger box.

I ordered a similar item from Wayfair last year and they simply slapped an address label on the package without any protection. So I was very pleased to see how well Trowell cared for the products they send out.

Would definitely use them again.

Crap service over 10 minutes to be seated and the wait to get our order taken over 30 minutes then over 1 hour and a half to be served appalling NEED MORE STAFF no one checked and other people that came in after us got there meal!!!!

I had run out of plant food for my outdoor potted plants and the one that I normally use I could not find in any of my local garden centres or shops. So I looked online for it and found it in a larger size than was usually available at a reduced price with a very reasonable delivery charge.

The product arrived promptly and was extremely well packed in a box with plenty of padding inside. So, unsurprisingly, the bottle was well protected and therefore so were the contents.

I have not had to use them again so far but I will certainly go back to them if I need a garden product online.

I’m a little disappointed, having spent, over the years, a great amount of money at Trowell Garden Centre, I have just attempted to order some stones at £25 to be told that I couldn’t have anything delivered under £50 this Is besides the delivery charge. Of course I understand that there is a delivery charge but to be told that we couldn’t even have anything delivered unless we spent £50 is quite annoying. We managed to make the order up to £43 and they said that would be ok, very confusing! We duly paid this, plus delivery charge only to read that if we order online it is free delivery over £30! We don’t blame the lady on the till who is lovely and did her very best to help as always! Please make everything clear for the customer as it seems things are made up as you go along.

Brilliant online store had everything we were looking for, including one item that seemed to be sold out elsewhere, all at amazing sale prices! Tracked delivery (free) took 2 working days and it was all very well packaged.
Items are great value as they’re good quality, compared with rubbish seen elsewhere at much higher prices. Wish we had heard of this place ages ago, and will definitely be buying garden essentials here from now on.

In May 2021, I ordered Evergreen Miraclegro Complete 4 in 1 for 100 sqm. Delivery was prompt. Products were of expected high quality and arrived well-packaged.

I ordered a bird feeder and a huge bag of nuts to go with it, and I paid for express shipping. On the day that the order was dispatched, I received an email, stating that the bird feeder was unavailable and I was being refunded for the feeder.
Therefore, I'd paid extra money to have a bag of peanuts delivered - some gift!

To rub salt into the wounds, I looked again on the website, and the item was still for sale. Since I'd looked at the item, I got two follow-up emails that week telling me to return to the store and pick up what I'd left in the cart, even though it wasn't available!

I wrote to customer service and didn't receive any kind of response - no attempt to make it right at all.

I thought I'd do the right thing and support a local business. I won't make that mistake again. Amazon had a bird feeder to the recipient's house the next day without any issues. In short, either Trowell Garden Centre needs to step up their online business or just focus their attention towards on-site sales. Very disappointing.

Delivery said it would come in 3-5 days, but it actually came in 1 day. Very pleased and great product. Thanks!

4wks ago my brother ordered my dad a bench from another company who took his money but failed to communicate or deliver the product. So in a panic I contacted Trowell just two wks ahead of Father’s Day to see if they could help us buy and deliver a bench in time. Jo called me the same day I emailed, and two days after that my brother ordered a bench from Trowell, a better one but at a more reasonable price, Jo assured us it would be made up and delivered by Saturday - it was, not only that they even added a bow on the bench for him. Thank you so much - it was a huge relief to us all and my dad loves it.

Thank goodness GC can reopen. I appreciate it must be difficult with few days notice , a queueing system to install and not masses of stock. Getting in was great with a very smiley welcome but paying is overly strict and angrily disciplined. Screening and masks I understand but the instructions shouted to stay well clear made us feel like unwanted aliens. Shopping can be safe and welcoming. I probably won’t go back.

Birdseed delivered was as ordered however it took 11 working days for us to receive it! Originally we were told it would take 5 working days and it was only after we contacted Trowell that we were made aware of their delivery issues. We received a patronising email advising us to be patient and understanding during Covid-19 lockdown but we were making other online purchases and these were all delivered on-time!! The tracking code we were given wasn’t recognised on the Parcelforce website!

Ordered online email confirmation straight through to my email. Delivered on time fair pricing.
This is all you can ask for extremely satisfied customer will use again.
