Supplied and Fitted new front door and windows.

A thoroughly professional job and cleaned up well after installation. The installers were very polite and helpful.

After two delays, always blamed on "supplier issues" I finally had a visit from my window installers who announced that, although they could fit the windows, they could not complete the job as various parts had not arrived from "the suppliers".
I had previously signed an agreement with the company and paid 50% of the total bill up front.
I said to the company that I would be happy to pay the balance as soon as the job was complete.
What an error on my behalf.
The caulk was not yet dry before I started to receive lengthy emails threatening to charge interest on the outstanding balance unless I paid in full for a job that was not complete.
They also claimed they could not get the missing parts from the supplier unless I paid in full- a bizarre claim as I imagine these parts were ordered at the same time as the window.
I admit that, on reflection, I should have read and reread every clause and sub-clause in the contract I had too hastily signed, to assess whether the contract favoured the company or the consumer.
This company, helpfully to themselves, defines smaller issues as "remedials" allowing them to leave a job incomplete but getting paid in full.
Within the emails I received, which tended to start with obsequious platitudes were undisguised insults about me, and I quote,
"we are a bit of a dab-hand at spotting individuals who present the red-flags of intention to self-award compensation"
At no point was I asking for compensation, simply completion of a job.
To fight or not to fight?
It was just a window after all. As a result I decided to pay and hope.
I have a window, completed.
I have also been insulted and feel slandered, not something I have ever faced from a company before.
Doubtless, a lengthy reply will follow this review.

Truhouse were recommended to us and we couldn’t be happier with the service provided.
From their first initial visit, office staff, surveyor and then installation, the service from them has been professional at all times.
Truhouse replaced all our old windows and doors with double glazing. It was a ‘big’ job and the installers have been great as they did come up against a couple of tough situations but they got over them. They were also extremely tidy and courteous of working in our home.
The quality of the windows and doors are also exceptional and they look fantastic!
We’d have no hesitation in recommending or using them again!

Two very nice, friendly and professional guys replaced my ropey old conservatory doors this morning with two beautiful tailor made doors which I have already noticed keep out the draught and noise. Everything was left spotlessly clean and tidy and the work was done by lunchtime. My greyhound liked the guys very much and they didn’t mind her poking her nose in to see what they were doing! I wouldn’t call Truhouse a cheap option but the work is done with care and with good quality materials so I considered it worth a bit of extra expense.

Door installed quickly but with attention to detail. Took time to check that we were happy with everything and cleared up very thoroughly. Cheerful and polite - despite having to work in a rain storm.

Initial consultations and booking in September, polite and helpful staff explained process and all seemed well. I had agreed to proceed as we were seeking to get the work done in either December or January as we have so much other work being done on the property and we were told this would be possible. We finally received a schedule to commence work week commencing 7th February. This was then pushed back to w/c 15th February. Work began and the fitters were fantastic, very friendly and courteous. Unfortunately it transpired that one of the windows hadn’t been included in the delivery so had to be reordered. The fitters also had to return a week after fitting to finish off the grouting around the stonework on the outside of the windows as their schedule hadn’t allowed time to do this during the week of fitting. Then two of the windows leaked and we had to arrange for this to be rectified which took another 3 weeks for this and the final window to be fitted. The quality of the windows is as expected and all is now completed.

Thank you to all those team for an outstanding service from start to finish. We are extremely pleased with the finished work 🤗 we must have been a nightmare for you as we were so fussy about how we wanted everything to look but the fitters (Mo & Dave) were amazing, checking every detail before carrying out work. The whole process was incredible.

Just had some windows replaced by Truhouse - overall the experience was very good , fitters were 2 nice chaps who turned up on time and were very thorough with the fitting and finishing off the windows and everything was kept very tidy .
We ordered obscure glass for the bathroom window and integral blinds for the bedroom- it’s just a shame we weren’t offered them when we had our quote as we only found out that they were available by us asking and once ordered, we were not shown how the blinds would look with our windows- that definitely needs to be addressed with the customer.

I've ordered twice from Truhouse purchasing a total of 20 odd windows/doors.

The customer service and communication is very good, the quality of the products is very very good and the price is fair in my view.

My only constructive feedback would be that they advise that where a cottage is cotswold stone and pointed in lime that they don't seal outside with white cement and instead use lime. I've tried this a few times now but the lime just doesn't take to the uPVC and so I've used white cement anyway. I appreciate the attention to detail however I think on this particular point I would advise to do the above as standard where possible. On my second order I asked the installers to come back to do the above and to their credit they did come back the next working day and did it with no bother and smile on their face.

Overall an excellent service and anytime I need more windows or doors I would always use them.

Firstly, prompt and punctual from first meeting. Secondly. It was a big task and 13 windows to be replaced. All done fitted and with no mess left at all!. Extremely impressive service undertaken by two great men who were skilled and professional throughout. Excellent and could not ask for anything else. Thank you.

I decided to choose Truhouse after my neighbours had their windows replaced, and they had nothing but praise for the window fitters Dan and Josh, after being invited to have a look at their new windows I decided to go with Truhouse.
After a wobbly start and the job starting two hours late, the first thing Dan did was reassure me that nothing would be rushed and they would not cut corners. Both men worked extremely hard all day with Dan updating me throughout the day and confirming what I wanted done.
Because of the late start they had to come back the next morning to finish the job, Dan did an amazing job repairing a broken brick, his patience was something else but he got there.
Dan and Josh have a lovely working partnership, listening to their banter made me smile, the windows look lovely and a number of neighbours stopped to admire them as they were being fitted.
If any one reading this review is looking to replace their windows you won’t go wrong getting a quote from Truhouse, and if you do decide to go ahead make sure you ask for Dan and Josh they are the best.

The quotation process was very professional and transparent, with no pressure sell or hidden costs. The installation was completely to a good standard and the installers were friendly and tidy. The windows themselves are just as expected and seemed reasonably priced. Lead time for fitting was quicker than expected, which was an added bonus. The office staff were also very helpful when organising the home visits/surveys etc.

We're more than happy with the new composite front and back doors that truhouse sourced and fitted for us.

We had great customer service from our initial contact with them through to fitting and final adjustment. This was in marked contrast to what we got from the other companies that we asked to quote. One, a well-known company named after a famous mountain, kept badgering us to place an order for their unjustifiably expensive doors. Another local company visited, measured up and then ghosted us.

Anyway, special thanks to truhouse's Sarah for helping us pick our doors, Dan and Josh (the friendly, funny and tidy fitters) and to Hannah for keeping us posted and sorting all the paperwork.

Friendly professional staff at the showroom gave good advice and the fitters were cheerful, efficient and did an excellent job. We are so pleased with the finished product.

My sister is disabled, living in a ground floor flat , with a casement window that had failed & was a great security worry.
After reading reviews I phoned & booked.
Right from the start we were kept updated at every stage. Chris came to assess & measured up that day to speed the process.
The window was fitted with great care by 2 lovely gentlemen & they spent time adjusting the handles so my sister could open the windows with her weak hands.

Another small problem with our windows, not a fault of truhouse. Had a breakdown of seal between glass panes and filling with water. Truhouse were keen to help and sorted all paperwork, arranged suppliers to get a replacement and fitting. The support they gave from start to sorted was unbelievable smooth, efficient and they did everything. Cannot praise them enough, so pleased we went with Truhouse.
