I want to give 5 stars but it seems over time, I noticed the collar doesn’t accurately track all events. I also noticed his total step count decreases every day which seems odd

Since I got the S3+ two months ago, I feel safe letting my dog roam in the woods by our house and I know I can always find him. It's so fun to see his steps and sleep too!

I wish behavior tracking was a little more accurate but it seems like it's slowly getting better!

Regarding Microchips. I no longer trust this company. They up and decided to change the data format of the chips, ignoring feedback from the very rescues that REALLY need for the chips to be entered the way in which the RESCUE already does. No customer service or anyone here who truly helps or cares. The new format is terrible and the old format was much better.

I LOVE my Fi collar! It gives me such peace of mind when we're hiking or camping, knowing that if our dog strays, we'll be able to find her. It takes all the anxiety out of bringing her with us.

Fi gives me peace of mind that I’ll always know where my dog, Steven, is. He loves to sneak out of our backyard but luckily I’m always able to track him down.

I’m a little confused by how they count steps but I really love the product overall!

Even though we live in the country, there are still a lot of cars around, and our biggest worry is when our hound inadvertently escapes he has no road sense. He heads for the hills and the Fi collar has helped me track him numerous times over the last year. Saved my sanity and my *ss! Couldn’t live without the Fi collar.

I’m obsessed with the Series 3+. The battery life is incredible (it rarely drops more than 1% a day). The health metrics have been eye-opening with my high-energy dog, and it’s so validating to see how active she is through the sleep and activity tracking. The community leaderboards show how she stacks up against other dogs, and GPS tracking has been flawless. I never thought I’d care this much about tracking my dog, but this collar makes it genuinely fun.

Great collar that not only tells me where my pup is, and if he leaves the safe zone where to find him. also tracks sleep, naps, & steps towards his daily goal. It’s his own pup Fitbit. Love it

The camera system is great very little to improve. One of the think I wish it could do is if the camera could follow the person or object in motion.

Nice to be able to track exercise levels and lost dog. Wish there was an option to turn off Fi when I remove the collar at night otherwise sleep tracker is erroneous. Also wish safe zone could be smaller.

I love the collar and the purchase and receipt was 5 stars but I am not loving the ranking system on dogs -only the last 28 days and am doubting the ability of a dog to get 5 or 6 million steps in 28 days so for that reason 4 stars

Love using this collar! It's been really accurate so far and it's fun to see the number of steps my girl Winnie gets. I'm not sure how some dogs on the rankings have as many steps as they do... but it's still a fun experience and keeps me motivated to walk.

Fi Collar is amazing!!! We have loved having it to track our mini Bernedoodle, Nash’s, steps! Having a dog that had double elbow surgery at 10 months old, it was always worrisome how he would do as he got older…. Now he is going to be 5, and being able to track his steps and see how he improves in his endurance is invaluable!

But what has impressed us the most is how Fi has helped with things we never even thought a collar could track. A few months ago, Nash started doing this odd tongue-flicking behavior that had us really concerned. Of course, Google searches only made us more worried, and we even called the vet. The hardest part was not being able to tell if it was happening more or less as the days went on—it felt impossible to measure. That’s where Fi was a lifesaver. Using the app, we could actually see the pattern of his licking behavior. After switching him to a bland chicken-and-rice diet, we watched his flicking steadily decrease each day in the app. Not only did that completely relieve our worry, but it gave us something concrete to share with our vet, which was huge.

Fi has gone so far beyond what we ever imagined a collar could do. It’s not just steps—it’s rest, activity, and little behavioral changes that can tell such a big story about your dog’s health. Having that extra insight into Nash’s daily life makes us feel like we’re giving him the best care possible. We can honestly say Fi has been a total game-changer for us, and we can’t imagine not having it now!

My experience with Fi Collars has been overwhelmingly positive, especially when it comes to the core features that matter most to me as a dog parent with two active pups. The step and mileage tracking capabilities are truly exceptional – being able to monitor my dogs’ daily activity levels and see detailed walk metrics gives me confidence that they’re getting the exercise they need. The breed-specific comparisons are particularly insightful, allowing me to see how my dogs stack up against similar breeds across my state and the entire Fi Network.
What I love most about Fi is their commitment to continuous improvement through software upgrades. The company consistently adds new features and refinements that enhance the overall experience. The bright custom color light feature is fantastic for nighttime visibility – it’s both practical and fun to activate when needed.
However, I must admit my disappointment with the Series 3+ Apple Watch integration. Despite marketing claims about improved Apple Watch compatibility, the functionality hasn’t lived up to expectations for my specific use case. This was one of the features I was most excited about, so the lackluster performance was particularly frustrating.
My biggest concern lies with the newer activity monitoring features like eating, drinking, scratching, and barking detection. The accuracy seems questionable – my dogs are quite calm and rarely bark, yet the collar frequently registers barking activity. Similarly, the charts for eating, drinking, and scratching behaviors are confusing and difficult to interpret, making me question their practical value. While I appreciate Fi’s innovation in expanding beyond basic tracking, these features feel more like gimmicks than reliable health monitoring tools.
Despite these limitations, the stellar performance in step counting and mileage tracking, combined with the reliable GPS functionality and Fi’s commitment to ongoing improvements, makes this collar an excellent investment for dog parents who prioritize activity monitoring and location tracking

I like the product, makes me worry less about my dog since she is very shy around new people. The app is great too, I love seeing the updates they keep making to make it better.

Honestly, my Fi Series 3+ (upgraded recently from Series 3) has provided such peace of mind for our family. I have had very few false alarms and am notified about safe zone exits very consistently when we go for walks. Battery life has been on the order of 6-8 weeks (though I never let it get too close to 0%). The behavior insights are also super interesting, and I am excited for them to continue improving those health related features! I would highly recommend the product, and for less than $20/mo, it feels like a total no-brainer to keep my dog safe

First time dog was out of safe zone and tried lost dog mode to find him live tracking never connected . Found dog only 1/4 mile away but i saw him visually before tracking finally connected when he was less than 20 feet away from me. Cannot rely on this as a tracker at all. We were not in the woods or the boondocks in the middle of neighborhood with very few trees and dingle story houses. Not a safe way to ensure your dog never gets lost

This collar is an absolute scam. The base never connected and the GPS was always WRONG! ALSO, NOT TO MENTION, I couldn't cancel my subscription bc it bound me to a 6 months subscription so make sure you read the fine print. I kept it 2 days and had to send it back. They are hard to get in contact with and it's hard to get your money back. Plus, they will not allow you to leave a review on their website. I had to come here. It was getting nofications thru out the day that my dog was lost, then found and then lost again. Stay away from Fi Fi collar. I'm so disappointed and this is such a scam.

I was happy with their product for almost two years, until it stopped working three months ago. I've tried numerous times to get the problem remedied with no success. Now I've given up trying to get it fixed and have been trying to cancel my subscription, also with no success. What a shame. I would have been a longtime subscriber, but the customer service was absolutely the worst I have ever encountered.
