Credit Bureaus Are Not Efficient
Improve ! They have been told and know what to do to improve themselves. First, they are unable or don't care to maintain their service center accounts for clients. It has been over 2 months that I cannot get my wife's sign in. They will put one though all the security steps to verify identity. Then a message states that we are unable to let one change a password since for some reason a previous one is not working. I called for help. They stated that my wife must be on the phone to ok giving me the help that she needs to sign in on their nonfunctioning site, My wife was not present. I had all pertinent info necessary to clear identity concerns. Trustpilot acts as if they have a golden security method. First, if their site functioned I could have completed the task for my wife. Second, I could have changed my voice and played my wife. Third, I could have had any female act as my wife. Even a supervisor would not permit the agent to help me. Furthermore they get errors on one's credit report. Worst of all credit bureaus get invaded by hackers. They have too much power for all the power & "license" that they are granted.

CONSUMERS BEWARE!!! This is the absolute WORST scam! These CRIMINALS are happy to rob you, commit fraud, and get away with it! They happily even PROMOTE fraud and scamming gullible people through their BS customer service based who the fu** knows where!! I feel really stupid for not researching this BS supposed "credit bureau" monitoring service. Seems like they have been running a fraudulent service a lot longer than I just found out. They won't give you refunds for their intentional fraudulent charges, nor will they actually let you speak to a supervisor to report the corporate fraud that their reps promote! They don't care if that was some grocery or gas money you might have saved!! They literally STOLE from me!! I joined for literally ONE FUC*ING HOUR!! I canceled after paying the $1 as advertised for a fake "free trial" of 7 days. They will blatantly charge you their full monthly price regardless of canceling your "membership"!!! I was furious when I found out! Please listen to ALL the negative reviews here and anywhere else you may find legit reviews of these proven scammers!!! I now have to pray for resolution through my credit card company directly. I hope everyone at this BS company encouraging this scam is met with the full force of karma justice!!

Transunion are a bunch of crooks! I paid $29.95 thinking that I was going to get access to all 3 of my credit scores which is what their offer claims, but when I logged in, I found out ALL I get is access to my Transunion credit report and score! What a crock of you know what!

I have a complimentary service from TransUnion through my Lloyds Bank credit card and, compared with the subscription service I have with Equifax, the criteria TransUnion use for reviewing credit scores is ridiculous, in that it penalises those people who use credit cards responsibly.
I have no need for credit and only use credit cards to obtain the consumer protection benefits associated with credit cards and to avoid revealing my current account debit card details to third parties when making online / telephone purchases.
All my credit card statements are settled promptly, and in full, every month, by direct debit. I have never been overdue.
Last month, in order to get the payment protection benefits, I used two of my cards to pay the balance of an expensive holiday, which took one card to just over 50% of its credit limit. Overall, TransUnion reported that my credit utilisation was 19%.
TransUnion regarded that episode as a negative event and downgraded my credit score by 21 points.
Furthermore, the TransUnion report provided by Lloyds clearly stated that the reason my score had been reduced was because I had used more than 50% of my credit allowance on one card.
Then, four weeks later when every credit card account, except Lloyds Bank (payment for which was not due for another two weeks) had been settled in full, they further reduced my credit score by another 6 points because “i am using more than 25% of my credit allowance on more than one credit card’ BUT all my credit cards were fully up to date and all but one card had already been settled in full.
So TransUnion have now reduced my credit score by 27 points just for using my credit card responsibly and settling my bill in full before the due date.
In contrast, Equifax, with whom I have a subscription service, simply emailed me with an Alert.
The alert, sent as part of the identity theft protection feature of my subscription, was drawing my attention to the fact that I had made greater use of my credit cards than normal, and asking me to check my credit cards to make sure the entries were not fraudulent. So they were clearly aware of the transactions though they DID NOT make any change to my credit score.
As I update this today on 19th March, all the credit cards have now, as usual, been settled in full by direct debit. TransUnion now show that the accounts are fully settled, but for some reason still they show the previous month’s credit card balance when determining credit card utilisation and are still penalising my credit score!!
I will leave readers to decide for themselves whether or not TransUnion are making a sensibly reasoned judgment on my credit worthiness.
Spoke to both Lloyds and TransUnion. Both recognise I use my card in an ideally responsible manner. BOTH PASS THE BUCK. TransUnion acknowledged that they look at the current balance and not the overdue balance and that whenever I use my card significantly more than the previous month, this is regarded as an adverse event even though I always settle my monthly account in full every month and have done so for well over 30 years.
Quite simply, they ADMITTED that people who use a credit card as a de facto debit card in order to obtain enhanced consumer protection are considered to be a greater risk.

Scam
Scam. I put in my CC information to get my credit score, and was sent an error message that the card information is incorrect. It is correct, verified by the fact that I was charged twice for this. I did not get to see my credit score, and now have to go through hours of BS phone calls to resolve it. Your apathetic customer service rep told me the internal systems are down, and to call back after being transferred internally. Why transfer me if the systems are down? Why charge me but tell me you cannot accept my card information. Horrible company, I can't believe you are back by the fed for credit reports when you can't even do this right.

Incompetent company
They should not be in charge of people's credit scores. The will literally take points away for you doing the right thing and paying off your credit card balance on time. That goes against their own rules. Credit cannot be built if they are doing the exact opposite of what they are suppose to be doing. I do wonder if this only happens to free memberships so they can pretend it can be fixed with a paid member ship, it would not surprise me. No one wants the government in charge but this is an example of how only changing the legislature will make these crooks behave. Only mass complaints to cfpb/ftc will trip the eye in the sky to get a lawsuit going but then again it did nothing for us when equifax screwed us so who knows.

This Bureau is so inaccurate and they can never review things properly. I paid off all my debt months ago and continue calling and disputing my items and they always shut me down saying the information I provided is inaccurate and there’s is correct. I hate this so much and I even provided documentation and statements showing them in good standing.

Absolutely terrible. I have not been able to access my account for years because I forget my information. They ask me security which I answer correctly and then tell me it's wrong. News flash I know if I've ever had any other last names. I havent!!!

They downgraded credit rating
Transunion downgraded my credit rating when I opened a new current account with Santander. I used the current account switching service, but when my old current account was closed 2 weeks later, they did not restore my original rating.
What is even more bizarre is my old account had an agreed overdraft facility (which I never used) but the new one doesn't.
I think they make up the ratings as they go along; they bear no resemblance to your actual financial position.
The information they provide is wrong
The information they provide is wrong - in my case they are stating I have missed paying gas bills which are actually the responsibility of a long term tenant in a property I own. Now my previously perfect credit score is showing me as a bad risk and I will have to spend time resolving. Fools.

Transunion should be investigated the FCA.
It's pretty clear this company is not fit for purpose. Not only does it deny I exist (because I choose to keep some of my information from public view) but when I try to complain all I get is an agent who tells me that it's (in essence) my fault and I have to write to them to clear it up by post.
I'll admit that I lost it on the phone but after months of trying to sort this out, a website that doesn't appear to work and its sloppy handling of cookies...
And when I did try to call all it did was try to get me to go through everyone I'd done before putting me through a guy with a very thick accent that I had trouble understanding.
I could go on but I'm literally shaking from the experience. I wish my bank would partner with a company that has proper service and doesn't just write off people like this.
Transunion are not fit for purpose
Transunion should never be allowed to compromise the financial standing of innocent victims with their erroneous data. I had lived at my current address and was registered on the electoral roll since the beginning of 2021, BUT Transunion recorded that I was not registered. I obtained confirmation of the date of my registration from my Local Authority and I sent numerous copies to Trnsunion as evidence, but they ignored all my communications and, as a result, I missed out on mortgage offers. It took Transunion nearly two years to correct my credit report and it has been more than two months since the Ombudmsman ordered them to pay me £200 in (inadequate) compensation, BUT I AM STILL WAITING FOR THIS PAYMENT!

The problem is they got my information is wrong ( Registered to vote), even though I have registered to vote & voting every single election also stood for the Parish council election..
so I send them an email to update the correct details also I phone them, But they seem to pass the ball to Natwest & they ask me to do their job. like, getting evidence from the local council.
why should I need to send them evidence? which i never request their service?
I explained everything but the lady lied to me . the next day they just email me they can't update the details and the wrong information will remain the same ...lol? rude.

Credit agencies are a huge scam
Transuniom randomly sent my credit card company a letter causing them to drop my credit amount to 1/5th of what it was without even notifying me ahead of time. The only time I have an issue with my credit report Transunion is somehow involved and the other 2 companies don't have issues. Must be a financial benefit to them somehow maybe in league with credit monitoring services.
