Economy Suites Extended Stay Tulsa
Economy Suites Extended Stay Tulsa - these properties (there are two I am referencing in this review) owned and operated by the same man not only kicked me out of their hotel in retaliation for me leaving a negative review because one of their employees asked me out on a date, I initially accepted pending how I felt after my day of medical appointments as I am in heart failure, but they lied to me, refused to sell me a soda (of all things), forced the clerk of the second location I stayed at to lie to me, showed up after forcing me to be kicked out and bullied me and stood outside the room I was kicked out of and acted like thugs or hired goons.
I was asked on a date by an employee of the first location that I was staying at. I initially said yes, pending how I feel after my medical appointments because I am in heart failure. This was on Thursday, January 8, 2026. He seemed nice enough and when he asked, I gave him my number and explained that I had doctor's appointments the next day. On Friday, I went to my appointments, came back to my room and laid down for a nap. I woke up to him calling my phone. I didn't answer and he repeatedly called and text my phone. I text him back and told him that I didn't feel well and didn't feel like going out that night, could we push back to the next night. He repeatedly called and text and refused to accept my answer. I eventually silenced my phone and made a reservation at a different hotel. The next day, I ordered a Lyft and when walking across the parking lot, he screamed at me. I ignored him. When I got back, again, while walking across the parking lot, he screamed my name. I got into the room and he came to the door, knocked and yelled "hotel front desk". When I opened it, he could tell that I was livid and he asked if I needed anything from the front desk. I told him if I needed anything from the front desk, I would come to the front desk. He immediately went back to his phone and started texting me again.
When I checked into the new hotel and it was a woman working the desk, I briefly explained to her why I was genuinely thrilled to see her working the desk. That evening, someone knocked on the door while I was sleeping and told my friend that when I woke up, management needed to see me at the front desk. I immediately got up and went to the front desk. There, a man who said he was the manager asked me questions...he didn't really seem interested in listening to the answers, he cut me off repeatedly, and he eventually told me he was firing that man and he got on his phone and spoke in a foreign language. I went back to my room. The next morning, that same man and another man came to the door of my room to ask me - again, about my story. I showed the new man my phone, the repeated, unanswered texts and calls. He said that he was "most likely" going to fire the man who harassed me. I said I didn't believe him because the man he was with told me he fired him last night and I wanted hotel credit. He said no because I left a negative review. I said I left a negative review because your employee stalked and harassed me. That night, I tried to extend my stay and was told I would have to do it this morning. This morning I was told that they were completely booked and I needed to get out. My friend who was staying with me was at work, I had no transportation and all of the belongings but I got everything out of the room and into the room next door and that is when the two men who came to my door yesterday went into the room. I walked by and saw them, they saw me see them and followed me. I went into the front office and put money on the counter. The new man from yesterday said how can I help you? I said I would like two Dr Peppers if that's okay with you. He said it's not okay with me, I want you off my property or I'm calling the police. Because I reported his employee for harassing me. This is retaliation, plain and simple.
