Lottie was so impressive at identifying the right destination and board basis that would suit our family. All communications from Lottie and the wider team were prompt and comprehensive and they couldn’t be more helpful. We booked our honeymoon through Lyndsey at Turquoise Holidays. She was incredibly helpful from start to finish. We knew we wanted to go to Malaysia and Borneo and had an idea of activities and the style of honeymoon we wanted. Lyndsey was able to personally recommend where to go as she had been to all the resorts, experiences and hotels.
She was available throughout the process and honeymoon, answering all our questions (and there were a lot!).
Whilst away it was clear how much effort Lyndsey had put in to make our honeymoon as special as she could; letting the airlines, hotels and resorts know it was our honeymoon.
She found deals, got extras thrown in and recommended the most economical but worth while way to do things.
Every detail was planned perfectly, making our honeymoon seamless, stress free and absolutely incredible. We couldn’t recommend more highly.

This was our 4th holiday with Turquoise. Since our first Mauritius experience in 2016 we go to these amazing people every time we want something special!
We don’t normally have huge budgets, but Turquoise never seem to see it as an insurmountable problem and always find a way to add to our family memories! Antony has been our go-to person since the beginning, but everyone is professional, friendly and hugely knowledgeable. This year we wanted to celebrate our daughter’s end of GCSEs so we decided to take the family to the Maldives. Antony found us a great deal at a beautiful resort that didn’t cost the earth but had all the little luxuries that make a holiday unforgettable. It certainly helped that we were upgraded to their best water villas! Also with July being low season we got more for our money. With Turquoise you know you can trust the process, their app has all the info you need and they check that you’re ready before departure. Flights, transfers and all other bookings are flawless with the added assistance for activities pre-reservations also on offer. I just cannot fault them! We will make sure to go with their services every time special memories are required!

Jonty organised our itinerary for a special trip to Thailand and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed a fabulous holiday with wonderful experiences - exactly what we had requested.
At every turn, every detail had been thought of - stepping off planes and boats for our luxury transport to be waiting to take us to our accommodation, a text letting us know what carousel our baggage could be found at, phone calls before we left to check we had managed to check in online and sort out the travel card for arrival. This is proper customer service and there is no doubt we shall use this company again. Highly recommend.

Milly at Turquoise was instrumental in making our holiday happen, it’s difficult to overstate how much her support, advice and patience made sure this ended up being the break of a lifetime.

My wife and I are in our early 60s, and this was planned as probably our final opportunity to travel such a distance. This was due to the progression of my wife Suzi’s dementia and also her physical disabilities.

The brief I gave Milly at Turquoise was demanding - the journey had to be without stress, and the accommodation had to be fully aware and prepared to react appropriately to our needs.

We have experienced numerous instances in the past when travelling overseas where the promised services and facilities assured to us by travel agents had not materialised.

And this has resulted in Suzi reacting very poorly due to the dementia, which badly impacts Suzi’s mental health and well being.

At best, the experience would be tarnished and in some notable cases, simply ruined. I’d come home needing another holiday, after having to single-handedly try and alleviate the issues.

So, one missed step, such as the room not being thoroughly prepared, or anyone not knowing how to respond to someone with Suzi’s challenges could have easily turned the holiday from the ultimate dream to a complete nightmare 3,500 miles away from home.

This was a big and very expensive risk.

The brief I gave to Milly was specific - “make it perfect”. A tall order for anyone - especially as other parties are involved!

Well, the result delivered by Milly and Bella at Turquoise ensured that Lux* didn’t just meet my requests - but also exceed all my expectations!

Lux* Island in the Maldives is basically paradise - and it starts in earnest when the skids of the seaplane kiss the ocean.

You'll see the smiling, welcoming committee all clad in white waving to you from the jetty. It's like an episode of Fantasy Island and you have literally just arrived on 'the plane!'

The service is amazing - nothing is too much trouble for the six hundred staff.

Depending on when you go, the guys and girls of the staff often out number the guests - and this shows in the quality of the service and the almost empty surroundings.

When we were there in June of 2025, Giada (our primary contact) informed me that the island was at fifty percent capacity. It felt like we had the island to ourselves. Even at meal times, the choice of venues meant you never had to wait in line, or were faced with plundered buffets hidden beneath grubby conches.

No. The food was amazing, and the drinks - champagne, wine, beer, freshly squeezed juice, and coffee (oh the coffee) are all just wonderful. If you're trying to lose weight I'd put your calorie counting plans on hold for the duration.

The staff know you by name, and are eager for your return - even to the point of a friendly but earnest remonstration if you've elected to miss a meal to sleep off the excesses of the previous day!

It's a very personal approach. You are literally 'assaulted' by kindness and smiles. Even the grumpiest of curmudgeons will surely succumb to a Christmas morning Scrooge-like transformation sooner or later.

We took a carer with us as my wife has dementia and is also physically disabled. I was careful to warn her before we set off, that this trip would effectively 'ruin' any future trip she would go on. She smiled, giving me a slightly querulous glance - but at the end of the holiday she admitted 'You was right'. She had fallen in love with the ocean and I was not surprised to see tears when our time came to leave.

It's not enough to say the Lux* is beautiful - everyone has seen the pictures! But what the pictures can't show is the life enhancing, life changing experience you will undergo simply by being surrounded by the beauty of nature.

It's everywhere, the sea life, the white sands, the palms, the starry night sky (wow, just the most amazing things you'll ever see anywhere).

You come home thinking 'If every one went there, even just once - the world would be a different place'. It's a nice wish. We found it truly life affecting.

If perspective, happiness and contentment is a physical place you can travel to - then I'm confident the words 'Maldives' and 'Indian Ocean' would be somewhere in the address. For us, it is here, Lux*. Our favourite place.

Lyndsey Newton our travel consultant was immensely helpful and responsive from our first contact. She understood our brief and put together a really excellent wildlife focussed trip to Borneo. Everything went like clockwork with really helpful reminders about flights, times and even gates sent via the Turquoise app. Fantastic experience all round.

The service was exceptional; everyone was so friendly, and helpful, and were willing to answer queries, no matter how seemingly trivial, which was important as I have a busy life and a quick answer to something which was bugging me allowed me to deal with other problems.
I am really grateful for this assistance, which added to the frequent messaging, kept me in touch with the arrangements, all of which worked seamlessly. I am aware that this didn’t just happen and how much work would have been gone into planning and was impressed with the result!
May I make a special mention of Antony who was the person I mainly dealt with and made us feel special and this was much appreciated; Georgia and Bella were also most helpful.

Hotel was disappointinng. Breakfast was fine, but all other meals were mediocre, not aided by incessant noisy music. Also extremely expensive.

The most amazing hotel recommendations. Really friendly staff who care about making your holiday perfect. Never any pressure but competitive with prices. The only place I’ll go for a luxury holiday now

Thanks to Georgia-May Clark for helping me with the booking. As she knows us very well, she was able to research and identify the hotel and surrounding areas based on our likes. This trip coincided with my husband's 60th birthday. The whole holiday was fabulous and we would definitely repeat the experience again, booking with Turquoise of course! Your staff were very welcoming, listened very carefully to our (slightly different!) holiday ideas, and with only 3 or four days notice arranged a truly fabulous trip to Bequia (St Vincents and Grenadines) to stay at the amazing Bequia Beach Hotel.
Katie and Bethany both worked really hard to get all the administration in place in short order, and the trip was absolutely flawless. We loved the laid-back vibe and gorgeous surroundings, it provided a much need rest and reset, while also being a well-recommended place to be able to 'work-from-beach'. Absolutely Spot On. I must say, their service was nothing short of exceptional! From the get-go, Katie and the team were incredibly helpful in finding the best flight options for our trip to the Seychelles and providing fantastic hotel recommendations. Katie was very accommodating, offering a wide range of options and showing great flexibility when my requirements changed.
What stood out the most was their firsthand knowledge of the destination I wanted to visit. They were able to recommend the best options based on the duration of my stay, and the resort they suggested turned out to be exactly what was promised.
