UPDATED REVIEW OF ULO PRODUCTS AND SERVICE!!! May 19, 2026

I was contacted by the President of ULO after I posted my rather unfavorable review of ULO’s disorganized operations late last year 2025. He assured me that they were aware of the issues I was having and that they were taking concrete steps to addressing all of my issues and concerns. He asked me to give ULO one more try. I agreed to do so, and I am very happy to report that I am very glad that I gave ULO another chance! Their service and organization is 100% improved. In fact I can’t really imagine it being any better. Their professional personnel and follow up, and overall performance has been perfect!!! Very timely! Very organized!!! Extremely high quality Service and I am beginning to see or experience the results and improvements in my health from the testosterone therapy that I was hoping for!! I want to formally retract my prior concerns and complaints about ULO and replace that with high praise and a FIVE STAR RATING all the way around in each category of service, performance and my satisfaction as a customer! Well done ULO!! Congratulations and well done on your reorganization and for winning me back as a satisfied customer who is happy to endorse your services and products to others!!!

Keeps and HIMS don't live up to ULO

This is a much better service than keeps or HIMs. They take a personalized approach and put their customers first. I emailed their customer service with a question about their product using and they emailed back very quickly. They answered all my questions and checked back in with me too. I'm on their very low dose topical finasteride and don't have any of the dreaded side affects. I got side affects with the finasteride pills and other finasteride topicals, ULO has the highest quality products and customer service. 5/5 stars.

-10 out of 10. Horrible experience. Tried the topical dutasteride, and it has destroyed my hair. Shedding is an understatement. It has caused me severe depression, and I’m just praying some of my hair grows back. Customer service is not helpful either.

Looking back on our records, we did have the opportunity to speak with you about the shedding you were experiencing. As we shared at the time, an initial shed in the first one to three months of treatment is a well-documented and common response. In many cases, it's actually an indicator that the follicle cycle is being reset. As our clinical team advises in these cases, ceasing treatment doesn’t stop shedding. In fact, it can actually make shedding worse, since the shedding is typically caused by new hairs growing and pushing out old hairs.

Very happy so far

When my subscription orders piled up, I contacted support and they offered to pause right away. When I ran out again, I reached back out and they got me my order within the week.

The service and customer service are a…

Edit: To the reply…these guys are completely full of 💩 and have no idea what is going on internally at their own company. The first order was marked *shipped and arrived* only after me waiting and then contacting them and sorting it out was it actually shipped. Of course had I not they would’ve just charged me and never given the product. The second order was them simply not updating the frequency quickly enough….as you can see from their reply, all they want to do is argue 😂😂😂 good luck beating your competition as a new company with terrible customer service. You did everything BUT focus on the solution. Im far from the only one, just look at other reviews related to service….of course the product is fine because it’s not theirs. They just contract it out to someone else and charge you as a middle-man. Buyer beware.

Original post: The service and customer service are a joke. The product is average. They failed to ship my product AT ALL the first time, claiming some internal mishap. Then less than a month later they try to ship me more claiming i signed up for one month shipments. Good luck canceling or changing anything. They don’t care and will argue with you.

Regarding your first order, it looks like you had inquired about a formulation change in your intake form, which initially delayed the doctor’s approval of your medication. When we reached out to the doctor regarding your requested formulation change, we also had to put a hold on your initial shipment until this was sorted, and we are sorry this inconvenienced you.

As for the subsequent shipment, our records show that the delivery frequency on your account was updated after your order had already been confirmed and processed. Once an order is confirmed in our system, frequency changes made through the dashboard only apply to future orders. Our customer care team must manually intervene to cancel any order already in progress.

When your order arrived, we attempted to address your concerns by offering a complimentary return and full refund. But we understand this offer wasn’t satisfactory for you, as this review was left after our attempts to reconcile a solution.

They care about you

This company really cares about you. Their doctors went extensively into my medical record and listened to the issues I‘ve encountered with treatments I‘ve tried in the past. They built me my own personalized tropical. I could not be happier.

Love the customizability for treatment

Really like the customizability for treatment. I have a very sensitive scalp and I use their .005 topical fin daily with no issues. It dries fast and isn’t greasy or oily so I can still apply it in the morning and nobody can tell.

7% minoxidil works!

I’ve used 5% generic minoxidil for years (from Walmart) and decided to upgrade to 7% from Ulo. I’m 5 months in and there’s a lot more regrowth I see so far. I also don’t get the itchiness I usually experience with the generic 5%. I’m a very satisfied customer.

Topical Finasteride Literally Saved My Hair
