Really disappointed with Ultra Fund…
Really disappointed with Ultra Fund Capital.
Had high hopes due to them taking time pressure off when passing challenges as Im a conservative trader.
They tout themselves as wanting traders that manage their risk, but dont allow you to use EAs that do exactly that.
For a relatively new funding firm who is trying to grab a piece of the market their uncompromising nature was disappointing.
Off to funded trading plus as they have no time limits either, so will give them a try.
Ps: one good thing is that they processed my refund quickly.

We are sorry that your experience has not been optimal for your way of trading.
EA's are accepted. All we ask is that you conform to the risk requirements, by placing a stop loss when your orders are sent through. From the email trail I can see that your disgruntlement comes from us asking you to place stop losses according to our FAQ and rules, which you agreed to but because your EA does not do this, and I can only assume, because you cannot make your EA do this, you have jumped to the conclusion that we do not support EA's.
Our services cannot compromise just as our investors do not compromise. Had we sprung this on you after you started and then not refunded you, I would have whole heartedly agreed with a poor review, but I am disappointed that you would leave a review like this when there is no actual course that we could have done to make it better or resolve it, since you were the one who did not realize that our accreditation is not compatible with you.
We wish you luck in the future and if you can make that EA place an order with a stop loss, instead of adding them after, then we will be more than happy to work with you!

The best firm out there
Ultra Capital Fund has realistic plans compare to other firms. Customer support are friendly and responds fast. Accreditation fees are cheap. Best of all, there is no desk fees to pay every month after passing.

Actually I did not pass my first attempt at accreditation but I'm in the process of making another try and I suppose that means I'm happy with choosing them =)

Hi Marijan, we are so sorry that the breach happened to you.
We are definitely not set up to fail traders, but there are traders who do unfortunately fail from breaking risk requirements as they do not read the rules before they trade.
In your case, you had somehow missed the Risk Requirements in our FAQ and had been flagged for opening multiple positions at larger lot sizing whilst in drawdown already on the same symbol. Not only is this considered a risk breach (opening multiple larger positions whilst falling in drawdown), but it was also a deviation to your trading plan, in which you also indicated that you would only open a maximum of 3 positions per symbol.
We encourage all traders to ensure they show impeccable risk management in return for the most generous drawdown to target ratio on the market.
Alternatively, we will be releasing new plans soon that allow much more freedom when it comes to risk requirements, in return for a more strict target to drawdown.

Hands down the BEST Prop Firm
This is probably hands down the best prop firm out there. I managed to get funded with them and its been uphill from there with Ultra. They have amazing support, answering all my stupid questions shout out to RJ. I highly recommend UC. I am on my way to open my additional accounts and get funded on them also with Ultra.
