This being my first visit to Japan with my two daughters, I was anxious and somehow unsure about many things and adjusting to the same. Eva Wang coordinated all my pick-ups and drop-offs and ticketing to various places and made sure to check in with me from time to time to make sure we were okay. Her services were exceptional and very professional.
I have got a travel partner now, and I will not have to worry, as she went out of her way to explain other destinations that the company operates....I think our next destination is Morocco or maybe Cambodia....????

Planning for a multigenerational family trip can be overwhelming and an international destination even more so! This is where Ume Travel and Eva our travel agent helped to make everything seamless and easy. Our family of 14 ranged from kindergarten to senior citizens. I started on their website to search their different Japan tours that would fit our families interests and Eva was able to further customize the tour to our needs and interests. Having our own private tour guide and transportation was the only way to manage such a large group.
We had great tour guides in Masa and Gary- thank you!! Gary was wonderful and very knowledgeable about Japan and it’s culture.

We visited Bangkok from 30 July until 2 August. Our guide, Note, truly transformed this trip from simply visiting beautiful places into experiencing the heart and soul of Thailand.

His knowledge of Thai history, Buddhism, the royal family, traditions, and local culture was exceptional. Every temple, ruin, monument, and village came alive through his fascinating stories and explanations. He answered every question with patience, enthusiasm, and genuine passion for his country.

What impressed us most was that he didn’t just tell us facts—he helped us understand the meaning behind everything we saw. From the ancient city of Ayutthaya to the reclining Buddha at Wat Pho, every stop became an unforgettable learning experience.

Beyond his incredible knowledge, Note was warm, kind, professional, and attentive. He made sure everyone felt included, comfortable, and looked after throughout the journey. His sense of humour and friendly personality made every moment enjoyable.

If you’re lucky enough to have Note as your guide, you’re not just getting a tour—you are gaining an unforgettable experience and a deeper appreciation for Thailand, its people, and its rich heritage.

Our family recently returned from a two-week trip to Japan planned by UME Travel, and I honestly can't imagine having done it without them. First time visitors!!!

Our itinerary took us through Tokyo, Hakone/Mt. Fuji, Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka, with an incredible mix of sightseeing, Disney, Universal Studios Japan, TeamLab, temples, shrines, baseball, Pokémon, Sailor Moon, and so many other unforgettable experiences. Looking back, I still can't believe how much we packed into two weeks, yet the trip never felt overwhelming because it was so thoughtfully planned.

The biggest thank you belongs to our Senior Travel Consultant, Lan Liu. We worked together for well over a year, and she was the heart of this entire experience. I'll be the first to admit that I'm a bit of a handful—I ask a lot of questions, I like to think through every detail, and I probably changed my mind more than once. Not once did Lan make me feel like I was asking too much. She met every question with kindness, patience, and genuine enthusiasm, and she always made me feel like our trip mattered just as much to her as it did to us. She somehow took all of our ideas and turned them into an itinerary that fit our family perfectly.

I'd also like to recognize the incredible team that helped bring everything together while we were in Japan. Kiran and David were the quiet force behind the scenes, making sure everything ran smoothly and that we always had support when we needed it. Laila made us feel like we were exploring Tokyo with a longtime friend. Tao was thoughtful and attentive, adjusting our day at Mount Fuji to suit our family's pace and interests. Yuya's knowledge, kindness, and passion for sharing Kyoto and Osaka's history made every stop even more meaningful.

What stood out most was how much everyone genuinely cared. We never felt like just another booking—we felt looked after from the day we started planning until the day we arrived home.

Thank you, Lan, Kiran, David, Laila, Tao, and Yuya, for giving our family memories we'll cherish for a lifetime. If you're thinking about visiting Japan, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend UME Travel.

From planning to the trip everything was amazing. Lan Liu, our travel consultant put together a wonderful trip, making changes where needed and answering any questions we had. The itinerary was managable for myself and a five year old, and all of the places we visited were magical. My five year old now wants to move to Japan and is already planning on going back with the rest of the family.

The tour was expertly organized by Ivan, hitting high points of cultural, historical, and environmental interest. The hotels were excellent, and transportation was arranged without a flaw. The guides were dedicated, gracious, and congenial, though their command of English and of Japanese culture is still a work in progress.

We had a great experience with UME travels due to Ivan our point of contact. He customised our itinerary based on our requirements. Every arrangement was perfectly made, there was not a single glitch from start to finish. More importantly Ivan would respond to every query within minutes - be it night it day, which made us feel very comfortable. Very responsive! Amazing trip

From start to finish, Dan was incredibly helpful in the planning and the execution of the trip. There were a lot of moving parts and when small issues arose, UME was there to remedy them.

UME Travel is a treasure for those of us seeking safety, comfort, and peace of mind when traveling. Dan Li helped me plan every idea and what I dreamed of for this trip; no matter how often I messaged him to add something new or shake up the itinerary, he always accommodated my requests with a great attitude and willingness to help. We had very nice hoteles 4 stars choosed by Dan and we were very happy with them. The locations of the hotels were perfect. Dan took the time to choose them carefully—it was as if he knew my tastes, as he managed to make us feel very comfortable; I’m particular about hotels, yet we had no complaints. We loved the traditional hotel at Mount Fuji, where we slept on tatami mats and were welcomed with a traditional Japanese dinner—it was quite an Unforgettable experience!!!
We felt in Arriving in Japan and being met by someone to take us to our hotel was an invaluable, stress-free experience—especially in a country where the language barrier is significant. Every morning, we were met in the hotel lobby to be guided along our planned routes—and beyond—because if we asked for something extra, they always found a way to make it happen. They even sent a birthday cake to the hotel for my husband as surprise for him!! Their guides are the kindest, most helpful people you could hope to meet. Clifford in Tokyo was efficient, precise, and always incredibly friendly. Sarah in Kyoto was wonderful; she explained everything with such joy and a positive attitude, and she patiently waited for us at every stop we wanted to make—always smiling and ready to help. And Zack in Osaka—my personal photographer! Without a second thought, he offered to take photos and brought his own camera along to capture the most beautiful shots of my whole family in kimonos and samurai dressing. For someone so young, he possessed impressive culture and knowledge, helping us better understand every attraction we visited. He became like a son to me; I even teared up when we said goodbye. UME Travel’s incomparable service and the genuine warmth of their guides turn your dream trip into reality. I recommend them a thousand percent!

We had an absolutely amazing two-week trip through Japan, and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Dan Li and Ume Travel did a fantastic job planning every detail . Everything was thoughtfully organized, allowing us to enjoy the beauty, culture, food, and history of Japan without having to worry about any logistics.

I worked with Carrie from UME travel and booked a 5 country tour through Asia over 3 weeks for my family of 6. Phenomenal experience with Carrie. The organization was perfect not to exhausting, with enough free time. The main things to see and do were included. The guides and drivers were very nice and helpful and we felt safe and taking care of.
