I kinda have a lot to say here, I’ve been with them since the model before voyager. Do they live up to their hype? I think they’re a great company and I love what they’re doing with the micro transport space. It’s niche but it’s still a deserving space nonetheless. I think they could do better on support and warehouse management but I have no idea of the constraints they’re working under. My thought as they are a transportation system that they would be outfitted a lot better than they seem they are currently. The device for what it is, remarkable. For it to be as small as it is and fight traffic like it sometimes can is just amazing. This lil unit means freedom for me. It’s an essential part of my day. That doesn’t go to say it without flaws, 1 of which that made me take a break. The rod or stem had come loose letting the wheel move freely, this caused an accident I believe. That’s my biggest complaint. Secondary complains are the charger needs to be sturdier or placed somewhere that’s not a focal point and the scooter can fall on. The scooter actually goes 18 not 20 but I’m okish with that they just need to be honest in their advertising and programming. Of course I wish the batter went on longer but me being a fat individual, it is what it is. I know in time things will come up in that area. My current scoot has a squeal, gotta take care of that here soon. All in all not too bad for something that gets me around 95% of the time. I think my largest complaint really is the customer service is very slow, that’s like a car dealer taking their time to get back to you and I mean like weeks ar a time and a month to get a scooter. Improve on that and they’re perfect.
Customer support is slow and sucks. I ordered blue scooter and got a black one.
They told me they’ll send me a new one and locked up my current scooter so I can’t even use it. They have not even shipped my new scooter yet and decided to lock up my current scooter. Worst service I’ve ever received

I ordered a scooter July 5th 2025 and didn’t receive it until August 14th and when I finally received it, it was missing screws to attach the handle bars to the scooter. It’s been almost two months and two charges later and I’m yet to ride the scooter. If I would’ve known that there was a 6 week turnaround, I would’ve taken my business elsewhere
Unagi scooters are very helpful and convenient. What used to take an hour plus for me to get to work now takes me less than an hour to reach my destination. Thanks to unagi. You made my life easier.
I signed up for their service and quickly changes my mind. I tried to cancel before they shipped the scooter, but the only, and I repeat ONLY part of their website that doesn't work is the cancel subscription button. I tried from multiple computers, and no matter what I was not able to cancel my subscription. Their chatbot is useless, and when I reached out to customer support, they conveniently waited until the scooter had shipped (over a week later) to respond to me. They also have no phone support, so if their customer service team just doesn't reach back out to you, you can get locked in to paying their subscription fees for something you didnt want. I filed a formal complaint with the better business bureau and even changed my card number because their business model feels scammy. Avoid this company.
I ordered scooter.. it took 30 days to arrive. It broke and wouldn’t come on in less than I week,with only 25 miles on it.
The website says it ships your replacement scooter within one business days. It’s been 5.
The long and short of it is that it took almost a month to arrive and the date kept being bumped back, so I had to wait home for it 3 separate occasions. This was meant to be a replacement for my stolen bike and I was without transit the entire time.
Something that weighed into my choice to try Unagi is the alleged “ease and speed” of replacement if anything breaks. If a month for delivery is the normal standard of service, this is simply not as advertised.
Sometimes CX answered my emails, sometimes they didn’t. They did ensure I got the full free trial I was promised, and the carry case, but it takes some repetition to get all questions answered.
I’m not convinced on the scooter itself. It’s an exceptionally bumpy ride so we’ll see how I fare.
scooter is the wrong color, took super long to arrive, arrived in a tattered box, and is not in ideal condition (scuffs). i wanted to buy a new one not rent in the first place so this is a pretty bonked experience overall
Experience far worse than imaginable. Terrible customer support and charging me for month and a half that they idnt send my order. Not wnsering emails in days and litterally couldnt be worse. Dont rent.

the scooter is good. but they make it impossible to return because fedex is terrible.
I’m really disappointed for not receiving what I ordered!. My order was for a brand new Model Voyager Scooter but Instead I received a used one, so many scratches, damages, makes disturbing noise when running!. I reordered again hope you won’t disappointed me again!.

It took ages to deliver, even now I just got the scooter, after a while of riding it ( 3-4 battery bars remaining) even after dual engine is activated, it refuses to go over 10mph, I will definitely tell everyone to stay away from Unagi
First they told me my scooter would arrive in a week, it took two.
The battery on the older model does not work as advertised, and runs out of battery at about 4 miles.
Customer service is slow to respond, and not entirely helpful either. They dont seem to go above and beyond for their customers, which is unfortunate as I was expecting great things from Unagi.
Unfortunately, my experience to this point has been less than ideal and I would urge those of you looking for a scooter to consider your options.
I’ve waited for my scooter for 30days and when it came it did bot even work, so I had to prder a replacement. A week passed and it’s not even shipped again. Also, while I was waiting for 30 days, customer support wrote me back every tike, that I have to still wait, but when I called fedex, it said that they don’t even have the scooter. So UNAGI did not even give it to fedex for 25 days, but told me to just wait for fedex to ship it… Worst experience ever.
