Straight Scam, Clear as Day
Place is a scam. Placed an order months ago and I am being ghosted. Cannot get a refund. I looked into the company more, and found that their products are dropshipped. You can find their supply from Chinese manufacturers at 1/10th the cost. Furthermore, the positive reviews are by the owner’s friends. Make sure you look into these places before you trust them! Wish I did.
In reply: I have found manufacturers in China that are much cheaper with almost identical products and dimensions, and the more I look into dropshipping, the more suspicious this company becomes. I understand you have made sales, but I also think that you have not become a larger company because you cannot fulfill your sales! I will take your word that you have completed many sales, but the reviews on this page agree with me, not you. Most people here have experienced the same problem as me. A scam. I have provided my email as requested, and an order is not under Martin as I placed my order with a friend. He has emailed your customer support several times. Please respond to him there if personal information is required, as I do not want our information to be public. I find it ridiculous that you all casually mention order numbers publicly. Speaks to how professional this scam business is.

Hello Martin, I'm Alessandro, the founder and owner of Uptus Studios, and I want to correct what you've written here.
Uptus Studios is a legitimate company with more than 4,500 orders since we launched in October 2023. We are not a dropshipper. Every piece is produced to our own specifications and fulfilled in house from Toronto, and anyone who looks at our page can see that for themselves.
Our supplier relationships stay between our suppliers and us, so there is no way you could know who they are. We make minimal, logo-free essentials, which means other manufacturers can always produce something that looks similar in a photo. What they can't copy is the fabric weight, the construction, and the quality we put into every piece.
That is also why the claim that our products cost a tenth of the price is ridiculous. You don't know our suppliers or our costs, and if our margins were anywhere near that, we would be a far bigger company than we are. The real cost shows in the clothes, and the reviews on this page say the same thing, because every one of them comes from a real customer who received a real Uptus piece. As for your order, we have checked our records and there is no pending order from anyone named Martin in Canada, where this review says you are located. We have requested your order details through Trustpilot and expect them within 3 business days. If you do have an order with us, send the order number or the email you used and I will personally make sure it is resolved.4
