I reached out to a website online to request transportation of my son's car from Long Island, NY, to Tampa, FL. This website enables transport brokers to bid on jobs, aligning them with a driver, and ultimately, the broker receives a commission for arranging the transportation. It appears that US Star Tracking gets a 25% of the total transport booking fee. Once I placed my request online, I received texts and emails from numerous companies. US Star Trucking offered the best rate. James Hunt from US Star Trucking reached out to me on August 1, 2025, and I received a contract for the transportation of my son's car on August 4, 2025, for $550.00, with a $100.00 transport fee for my son's car. On August 5, 2025, I signed the contract and returned it to James for pickup on August 10, 2025, with delivery scheduled for August 12, 2025.

On Sunday, August 10, 2025, I reached out to James at 5:12 p.m. to ask when the car would be picked up. At that time, he informed me that he did not yet have a driver.
Monday Morning, 08/11/25, I reached out to him again, and he again told me that he did not have a driver. He also stated that the price quoted to me was too low and that he could not find a driver to do the job. Mind you, I had placed my son on a plane back to Florida on Monday morning, and all of his possessions were still in the car in New York.

At this time, James informed me that the drivers do not work for him and that he needed to adjust the price. I told him at that time to cancel my request, and I would figure out what to do next. My husband and I were considering driving the car ourselves because my son had none of his belongings and we could not wait any longer. James then told me that if I cancelled, I would have to pay a $200.00 cancellation fee.

James sent me a new contract for a total of $1050.00, with $250.00 being the broker fee. The price had doubled. I asked again if I canceled, would you be charging me $200.00 to cancel? He said yes. I had to go with him, and he knew it, or I would be out $200.00. My husband then called him, In the conversation, he told us he was in Turkey, when in fact he was in Tennessee. the man is full of lies.

The contract was signed, and the pickup was scheduled for Monday, August 11, 2025, with delivery on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

The car was picked up on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, and delivered on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

When I received my credit card bill, James not only charged me the $250.00, but he tacked on an additional $10.00, making my broker fee $260.00. I initiated a chargeback on my credit card, which was ultimately found in my favor. James began emailing me on Tuesday, September 24, threatening to take me to court and that I would be responsible for all of his fees associated with the case. I responded to him that he needs to deal with the credit card company. I then called the credit card company and was told the case was closed in my favor and that James Hunt from US Star Trucking, LLC, never responded to them.

I believe that this company was well aware that the original price was too low, and they took advantage of me. I filed a complaint with the BBB, and I am shocked at the number of complaints from people who had the same experiences I did.

The worst dispatchers I have ever worked for, I do not recommend to anyone.

On July 28,2025 I had a contract with US Star Trucking LLC to transport a car from Brooklyn to Ottumwa for an amount of 1050 US dollars which was pay in full to the company I should receive delivery on August 1st according to what was stated in the contract but on August 5th I had a feedback from the driver attached to the delivery stating that he will not release my car if I don’t pay him an other amount of 850 in cash I got in touch with the company and they was arguing with the driver for over 2 hours they couldn’t come to an agreement eventually the driver kept the car threatening that he’s going to drop it at a storage location at NJ-31 at my expense and the company kept my money and till now I didn’t hear back from them on how they going to figure this matter out

Very deceptive and unscrupulous business. The agent told me they have a confirmed driver for a date and time and sent me a contract to sign. The next day I called and they said they are trying to locate a driver. They later called back with an offer for 6 times the agreed price and even had me speak to a "supervisor" who kept repeating the same story about "the market" and why I should not trust any other offer from any other company because they are the only ones who have access to the drivers. They then threatened to charge me a $200 cancellation fee if I cancelled the contract.

Should have never trusted these people especially seeing all the negative reviews, I was quoted $500 to ship my vehicle and after signing the contract the day of the pickup came where I was given a timeframe of 9am to 1pm which they never showed period and then demanded we pay them $900 to transport the vehicle.

Scammers! Never even contacted them, but they posted me on Central Dispatch to jack up prices for me to make an impossible transport price anywhere. How can you post me without me contacting you or having a contract?

Extremely rude and unprofessional company. The staff is disrespectful, communication is poor, and they clearly don’t care about building real partnerships. Very irresponsible behavior – not worth your time.

the worst broker you could ever do business with, they post a car 100 times even if no one takes it, when you try to talk to them, they answer you very aggressively, they don't even have a contract with the customer but they post non-existent cars

Horrible company. If there were no star ratings, I'm guessing the feed would be full of them! Had me sign a contract, said they had a driver lined up and then called back many days later after i called them several times wondering where my vehicle is. They then decided they needed $300 more! Do NOT use this company!! Albert will string you along as long as possible!

Was quoted a price for shipping my vehicle. Signed a contract. The company said they found a shipper. I.e. scallywag broker. That broker had a driver. My vehicle was far away. They scammed my helper. Then the other scallywag broker held my vehicle hostage for a huge ransom. Said I would never see it again if I did not pay. I called the police and filed a stolen vehicle report. The police retrieved my vehicle. It's still not shipped. The other broker harassed me terribly. The driver was a European Ukranian, no dot or anything on the truck. The scallywag broker was fake. And I believe us star llc, the scallywag broker, and truck driver are a 3som scam working together. A new low for the auto shipping world.
