Completely harass you
Even if you have been paid out by your insurance company and the case is closed these people continue to harass you. Hastings direct already told don't call me and still here we are. I'm sick in bed and called everyday. There is NO telephone number to call to speak to anyone only a link to book a repair I don't want. These people are a nightmare

VRG - a great service
Working in conjunction with NFU, VRG helped make my insurance fix be seamless and convenient.
My replacement car was delivered within a couple of days and picked up promptly. The two drivers (Darren & Michael) were courteous and both with excellent communication skills.
STAY WELL CLEAR
STAY WELL CLEAR! After fighting for nearly 9 months to get my own car back through insurance, I eventually handed the hire car back. A month or so went by and to my amazement VRG for intouch to say they had to clean the car and the price of the car wash was £173!!! They said £50 of this was an admin fee so £123 for a valet! Never was I told i had to have the car immaculate handing it back. I live in glasgow a valet costs around £50 at a push. These scammers are still chasing me for this now I will not be paying a penny they have had some strongly worded emails. Stay well clear a terrible company
Been trying to arrange a hire car while…
Been trying to arrange a hire car while my car is repaired due to third party damage, poor customer service, hang up the phone after waiting 40 mins on hold with no effort to return calls.
My car is now being collected for repair on Monday by another repair garage and VRG aren’t able to supply a hire vehicle until parts are physically on site which means I’m left with no car, full of false promises and zero respect for there customer base!

I've had excellent service with the supply of a vehicle while mine was being repaired following an accident. My replacement vehicle being delivered to my home quickly and efficiently and collected as arranged when my own vehicle was repaired.

Scammers and Untrustworthy Service – Avoid VRG!
I had a very bad and shocking experience with VRG. My insurance provider arranged for a KIA Niro from them to cover one week's time. Upon returning the car, VRG accused me of causing damage to the right side rear wing and other spots that were already present when they delivered the vehicle.
I was absolutely shocked when I received their email trying to rob me with these false damage claims. They clearly hoped to take advantage of me and charge me for pre-existing damages.
Fortunately, I had the foresight to take a full video of the car when it was delivered. This video evidence saved me from their deceitful tactics and proved that the damage was there before I received the car.
I would strongly advise anyone to avoid VRG. Their untrustworthy practices and attempts to scam customers are unacceptable. Always document any vehicle you receive from them to protect yourself from their dishonest claims.

Appalling company
Appalling company, I have been badgered by them with text messages asking me to arrange a vehicle to replace mine for when it is repaired, I gave them the dates almost 5 weeks ago but they still persist.
Have phoned them on the 9th May and having furnished all the required information the operative was unable to confirm a vehicle and put me on hold many times to seek answers from others.
The phone call lasted some 40 mins and no conformation was given but was told that I would receive a phone call later that day to confirm, that phone call never came and no phone call the following day either, however I am back now to getting text messages asking me to call and go through the whole process again.
What is most infuriating is that the damage to my vehicle was not even my fault and it is now almost 3 months and still nothing except hours of my time wasted.
The insurance industry needs turning on it's head as it is not fit for purpose, it is full of 3rd parties who are trying to make a profit from an accident in my opinion borders on criminal, yet premiums keep going up and service is going down.
It has become so easy for this industry to fleece customers as it is a legal requirement to have motor insurance which allows us to be exploited.
The damage to my vehicle is not serious just cosmetic but I would hazard a guess that this fiasco has already cost thousands and not even been repaired yet and we the customers are paying this in our extortionate premiums.

VRG were superb. I found myself stuck with no vehicle after VW let me down leaving a long planned and trip in the balance, but VRG came through and found a suitable vehicle, delivering it to me in time for my trip. All of the staff I spoke to were very helpful, but Lauren in particular stood out, giving an exceptional level of customer care.
