VeinCentre - Colchester Reviews 

I have been to the vein centre at Marks Tey quite a few times to treat my legs as they were like a road map of varicose and thread veins there was allot to treat.
The staff are all fantastic and our very kind. My legs are so much better now and feel allot more comfortable and look so much better. I would definitely recommend the vein centre and am very pleased I had my treatment here.

I was well informed about the procedure and what symptoms l was going to experience. Everyone was helpful and professional, l would highly recommend Veincentre.

All of the staff were extremely welcoming and professional. I felt like I was in safe, competent hands.

First treatment ok had no problems but did have a bleed around ankle area which was sutured but when took stockings off was very bruised but some went after a week or so. Follow up I was not happy with. Scan showed area around ankle needed foam treatment which was painful & my foot & lower leg cramped up. Forward on 6 weeks my left leg looks worse than before & i have a huge lump & bruising going up my leg where treatment was carried out. Therefore Im not that happy at the final outcome. Reception & service I received was very good however the specialist was very matter of fact.
Would I recommend the treatment, not personally.

Excellent service from the minute I walked in. Made me fell very comfortable and they obviously are experts in their field.

I had been to my GP several times about unilateral leg swelling but I wasn't getting very far with a vein scan and so I booked privately with the Vein Centre, who were amazing. It was great to know that my symptoms are not DVT related. The consultant and nurse who examined me were not only clearly the very best at what they do, they offered total reassurance. If I could more than 5 stars, I would. Thank you

I was nervous about my initial consultation. Right from reception to the end of my consultation, I was welcomed in a warm, professional manner, which helped me relax. All my future treatments were explained and my questions answered with kindness and compassion. I left feeling confident in my next steps for treatment.

Very friendly welcome. I felt entirely at ease. The result is, the pain I had in my left leg has completely gone . Still have some swelling, gradually getting better. Very happy with the whole experience.

Every step of the way The Vein Centre in Mark's Tey, COLCHESTER and the Central response team have been exemplary. The first session was very comfortable and staff were very good at putting me at my ease and carrying out the work efficiently, and effectively. It was a great experience and now, some 3mths later, everything from that session is looking good and better than I could have hoped for. No more cramps behind my left knee thanks to the injections that side!
My second session to tidy up 'remains' on my right leg went well too and a slight wobble I had with confidence in progress was quickly put to rest by the Central reception. After a photo sent over by email, home treatment was advised by the surgeon and I was back on course...all within the hour.
I could not be happier with the outcome and look forward to my next treatment on the left leg.

I found this company were definitely only in it for the money , from my first visit the reception were very off with me until I put the £500 deposit down then their attitude soon changed , and on the day of treatment they were overly nice , then one of the receptionist actually stated to bad mouth about a patient that had just gone upstairs- seriously how unprofessional ! I had the most expensive treatment - as obviously I knew they would say that's what I needed - I only had 2 small veins that I needed treatment on . Then on the second visit - more money I had the have sclerotherapy and was told that would be all I needed , but 4 months later the vein is still there , so I contacted them again to see how long before the vein would go , and was told I can see the consultant again - for a price and to have more treatment - even more money - so how many treatments for a small vein ? The price could be endless - maybe if it was done properly your clients wouldn't be out of pocket.
I'd never use them again and feel I totally wasted over £4000 as I never got the result I was told I'd get .

I have felt self conscious of the varicose veins on the back of both legs for many years, never leaving the house in shorts or skirts that would show my lower legs. Only ever wearing shorts abroad where no one knew me. The VeinCentre in Colchester have literally changed my life. I had a consultation at the beginning of year, but didn't have the procedure until 5th July, as I had several long haul flights booked before this. The staff at the centre are all amazing, special mention to Karen on reception, her tea, biscuits and welcoming manner are all just perfect. On the day of the procedure Mike Delbridge was very informative and talked me through each procedure and was very calming as I was a little nervous. Mike and the nurse ( apologies I have forgotten her name) chatted to me the whole time to take my mind off what was happening. I had EVLA & Foam Sclerotherapy. I was called by the clinic a few days later to check up on how I was feeling. After I removed the stockings 7 days later I could already see a vast improvement in both legs, and once the bruising had died down, I was amazed by the difference in my legs and I have been out in shorts all the time!! I attended on 19th Aug for my follow up and had a little extra foam sclerotherapy. I am extremely please with the outcome of my visits to the centre and wish I had my varicose veins sorted earlier. The clinic is well worth attending - I cant thank the staff enough for helping me get my confidence back in wearing summer clothes again.
