I have suffered with varicose veins for over 30 years and have always wanted to do something about it so I researched The Vein Clinic and realised there was one close to me.
I filled in an online enquiry and received a phone call within the hour. The lady that I spoke to was lovely and answered all of my questions thoroughly.
I had an initial appointment in early May in Stoke on Trent with David Wells and his team, I was made to feel extremely welcome and relaxed. David talked me through in detail the whole procedure and how it all worked. My appointment to have the procedure was at the end of May, I felt relaxed and it was pretty pain free. I wore surgical stockings for 7 days and was pleased with the results.
On my final appointment six weeks later I had a top up procedure. On initial removal of the stockings I didn’t see a great improvement but after several weeks my veins were a high percentage improved.
Due to the severity of my veins and the length of time I had them the results were impressive however I have chose to have one more appointment for vanity purposes to get the 100% results for me, this is at an extra cost which I was fully aware of before starting this journey.
I have recently enjoyed a 2 week holiday abroad and for the first time I had the confidence to wear above the knee dresses and shorts.
I highly recommend this procedure as it’s given me a huge confidence boost and I highly recommend David and his team in Stoke on Trent, professional, friendly, very informative and made me feel incredibly comfortable and at ease throughout.

Excellent service. Staff were friendly, professional and v helpful. My consultation was thorough and was explained to me in a clear and informative way enabling me to make an informed decision about any treatment. All my questions were answered and I was reassured on every point raised. I was very satisfied with my experience.

So understanding, knowledgeable and friendly

I have mixed feelings. I had successful treatment of a varicose vein but the treatment for the superficial thread veins has left me in a worse state than when I began. I’ve had this treatment in the past by David West ( founder ) and the results were perfect.

Sadly I’m now left with horrible scars which I’ve been told that I have to live with.

The staff are extremely friendly warm and compassionate but I feel very let down by the outcome.

Consider carefully whether your superficial veins really need treatment and consider the potential consequences. I had no idea this could even happen..

Visited Trent Vale vein centre. Staff were all very helpful and friendly, both on the phone and in person. Treatment was clearly explained and appointment was on time. Some initial pain from injections but soon over. David Wells and the nurse were very considerate and professional on my 1st visit and again on the follow up. After care explained clearly. My legs are so much improved I am very happy with the results. All in all a flawless service.

Very happy with my treatment, Helen got rid of my thread veins with no problems. I shall definitely return if I need to.

Had varicose veins removed in both legs which were giving me problems so far i feel a lot better for it. My high blood pressure problems also got a lot better too. Very happy about it all
Just don't understand why the NHS didn't want to know ?

Well organised treatment plan , everything clearly explained and backed up by information provided online. The investigations and treatment were painless and wearing the support stockings wasn’t a problem. I am amazed at the results, legs much more comfortable and appearance much better too.-Win Win.
Would highly recommend the care I was given st Newcastle(Staffs) vein Centre

I had my treatment over 6 months ago. The procedure went well but after the healing process had "completed" i was still left with some veins and bruising. When I contacted the centre to say that I feel I still needed further treatment they said that I had to pay £250 for another consultation which was ridiculous, I of course refused and they inserted more product in my leg. Once this had "healed" I was left with dark noticeable bruising to one side of the leg. I called the clinic again and was told that I had to pay again and there was nothing that could be done, I told them that I wanted to speak to somebody else about it within their team and was told I would get a call back, the call back never happened. I called back a second time, to only be told the same thing. They could at least have the common courtesy to return a call when promised (twice), for all the money you pay, the after care is shocking. Making you aware before you part with your hard earned money. I will keep calling until somebody has the decency to address the issue. As you can tell, overall I am not very impressed with the level of customer service and had a higher expectation of the experience as a whole.

Excellent results.
Procedure fully explained and expertly performed by Dr Krishnan, Liz , the clinic nurse , was reassuring, efficient and knowledgeable, Angela on reception was really helpful.
I had the procedure to relieve symptoms which have now completely gone , and my leg looks a whole lot better too as an added bonus !
I would highly recommend the Vein Centre for anyone contemplating treatment of their varicose veins

These people are just brilliant in every way, they treat everyone with respect and dignity. They have treated me for an ulcer on my right foot that’s been bothering me for around 25 years. On my first visit they were positive that could help with my problem , sure enough 6 weeks after the surgery my ulcer has almost gone which started at 5” across now 1/4”, The NHS couldn’t help at all . All staff are very helpful right from the sales team ,receptionists nurses and surgeons and very friendly
