Thumbs up to the marvellous team at Velux
Had an issue with an existing skylight ( already installed when we bought our cottage) - from the initial emails between ourselves and Amy and then Susan which were reassuring and helpful. Due to the issue, all three skylights were replaced - this was done quickly, professionally and all done in just over an hour!! Many thanks to the two lovely gentlemen who came out - we only got one name- Gary and another young man.
The whole process from start to finish was fantastic !
Very impressed and would definitely use Velux products and their service again.
Excellent Customer Service
I needed to contact support as one of six solar roof windows was not working.
Amy was really helpful and via teams she diagnosed the issue which was a missing magnet.
This could easily have happened during installation but Amy’s objective was to fix it which has been done at no charge.
The hub, the solar powered mechanism and the solar powered blinds are brilliant.

Also the instillation contractor, K A Nickles, who carried out the work at my property were very experienced, helpful and clean. On completion you wouldn't even known he had carried out any work, wonderful job.

Responsive and friendly
Cheryl was a delight. She helped to determine the best skylight options for my home and was responsive when I needed to revise the quote when I fine-tuned everything. I felt I was in good hands. Would definitely recommend.

Spoke to 2 guys today had a ring back for further information regarding a smoke ventilation window and other products to go with it
very complicated as that I needed for my planning permission so has to be right
I have bought many Windows before from this company, nothing but quality but in this circumstances it was for Commercial building smoke detector window and it’s the first time I’ve ever purchasing one
The guys couldn’t be helpful enough sent me an email regarding everything I needed. Explained everything to me in the best possible way clear and perfect information for my architect to send to building control
this is why I trust this company. I highly recommend them and thanks guys got everything sent over two my architect will be getting back to you soon to make the order quality service

Excellent experience with Velux Windows.
The customer service representative (Ian) was most polite and helpful. I am an elderly customer and Ian was most patient with me, guiding me setting up a video link to my home so he could view the problem. I was most impressed with the overall service of Velux and would highly recommend the Company.

We had an issue with one of our windows, I called the help line and spoke to an after sales rep called Mikey, I have to say he was the most knowledgeable and helpful person I have spoken to in a very long time, he was very patient and we diagnosed the issue, he is sending me some parts to replace and he offered to send out there technician but I want to do it myself, he said if I cant get it working he would then send someone out, excellent service

I had installers fitting Velux Conversion Kits. They had to call Customer Services on several occasions and spoke to Shaun each time.
Shaun was extremely helpful and very patient with the installers who were clearly not up to the job. I could hear their conversation and Shaun went above and beyond, he couldn't have handled the situation better.
Unfortunately the clueless installers walked off the job because it was "too hard", but honestly I feel I have to give Shaun credit as he did everything apart from get in his car and do the job for them!
I have since also spoken to Michelle in Customer Services, who again was very helpful, polite and understanding.
Well done Velux - your customer service is a credit to you!!

Larger Size Velux Configurations
I've been working with an architect to look at retrofitting a large window area into a sloping roof. They recommended Velux but neither option they identified suited my needs. I contacted the Velux Design Service directly and was delighted to learn that they could configure at least two options that would be far more suitable. The Velux team were very knowledgeable and have agreed to update my architect drawings with more suitable (triple) window combinations. All at no cost!

When faced with the dilemma of a broken cord on my black out blind, I couldn't find any reference on Velux Spares web site, however, after scrolling through google, and YouTube, seemed only a bodged repair could be done, I then phoned Velux Technical, spoke with a very helpful member of staff by the name of Michele, who advised me, I could in fact buy a cord replacement set for £14 + delivery & vat. She also linked me to a How To video. Arrived ahead of scheduled date, and was an easy repair following the video instructions. So nice now a days to get so much customer help and assistance.

Velux after sales service
I had three Velux solar powered windows and blinds fitted at my property a year ago. During some roof maintenance work one of the units failed to open. A quick call to Velux (Susan) and advised to look at 30 second magnet video. Such a simple fix and all sorted. Not only are Velux windows the best on the market but more importantly the after sales service is excellent.

Placing the order for 5 blinds was…
Placing the order for 5 blinds was simple, the bracket kits had to be re-ordered but they appeared a few weeks later. Everything good and Customer Services provided two missing VAT invoices for our ISO audit by return at 17.00 hrs on a Friday evening - that's excellent service and real dedication! - Thank you Velux!

I phoned VELUX for technical help with an electric blind. I spoke to Alistair who was extremely helpful and patient. We were on the phone for one hour and twenty four minutes at the end of which problem solved and all working. I cannot praise Alistair enough. VELUX support is without doubt second to none. The products and support services are excellent
