Fixed problem - VCT responded to our email regarding no shipping 1 week after ordering with a Fed Ex tracking number and the items arrived the next day. VCS still makes me nervous - olde good values & service sort of over done but our purchases that have been about $250 per year have been satisfactory.

Goods are generally more expensive than Amazon. Shipping not as good as Amazon.

I have no interest in VCS catalogs but wife will look at them.

The delivery took a little longer than I expected. But my pillow is working for me.
I have a bad neck, and now own about 20 types of pillows. I kept hoping I would find the magic pillow, one that would let me sleep through the night, and be a functional human the next day. Im on about a week in, and so far do good.
It also feels like a quality product, and the price was reasonable

My previous experiences have been good but my recent experience is a complete nightmare. My order is all screwed up, the company is requesting money for items I’ve already paid for, I’m being told I received items that I haven’t received. Ive spent hours on the phone talking to multiple people over multiple days and every thing is still screwed up! I have asked for manager support and have gotten none help!! What a complete nightmare

Ordered Potica at 36.00 a loaf, ordered two loafs. What I got was two loafs of walnut goo. I threw half of the 1st loaf out and the 2nd loaf is in the freezer. I love eating potica this stuff I wouldn't feed to the dogs. I wrote a review and a note to the company. never heard a word from them at any time, I personally think that many of the reviews are
AI generated given the poor quality of the Potica.

Received a book as a gift that the Vermont Country Store sells as a “collectors’ edition.” The book was mis-bound, with the back cover at the front, and upside down. They want me to pay to ship it back to them. Selling factory-reject misprints as “collectors’ edition” is false advertising.

I received a response from Vermont Co Store after this review posted, offering a free return. They could have done that the first time.

I am reviewing their return policy for any item.
The company statement states that :any item for a refund without hassle or fuss. ( item #9- on company's bill of rights). It seems the customer service person has the right to determine if an item can be refunded.
The item in question for me was a food product. I had one customer service person honor that request with no hassle, but one told me this one time she would give me a refund and make a note to that effect. Nowhere does Vermont Country Store state that food items are the exception to this policy.

BUYER BEWARE!

Order two plum pudding from them but one arrived damaged. Emailed them but they were slow to respond, it was over the Christmas Season. They did respond about a week later fully refunding both puddings and shipping costs. Was very happy with outcome.

Someone stole my card details and made purchases on this site. After contacting customer service ( Michelle M) to block the transaction, the money was returned to my account. Thank you

I don't know who they are, but they started sending me their ads in my email, and unsubscribing does no good. I've relegated them to spam. This does not inspire trust.

I really love their selections of toiletries like soap and fragrances. I regularly buy the lemon verbena soap as a Christmas present for my brother and sister-in-law. The food items are also great.

I don’t think they are ready to handle online eCommerce yet. I ordered a pair of gloves to send to my mother and the order was held up because there system required verification of the addresses because the billing and shipping address was different. This delayed the order from being processed by about a week. I had to call and make sure they put the order through in their system which the very nice lady did it took another week for them to process and ship the order. Then after another 4 days UPS has it out for delivery and they say the address provided by the shipper is incomplete or incorrect. I double checked the order with Vermont Country Store and it is complete and correct. Finally I had to go into UPS app and supply additional address information to see if they can deliver it. So now going on 3 weeks waiting for a pair of winter gloves to be delivered and the kicker is I paid for 2 day express delivery!
