Not the first time I have dealt with virtu, specifically Rory and Graeme. Absolute pleasures to work with, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. My situation was slightly different to most, but I managed to get a better deal than expected. Big shout out specifically to Graeme, understanding i have the technology knowledge of a Roman, and still being helpful throughout our interaction be that in person or emails. Last car skoda superb, this car skoda superb, I imagine my next car will be a Skoda with this team. I travel down the A1 about 40 mins from home, as I dont see customer service and not just service, but support also, I like to stick with a winning team.

Iver made the process smooth, easy and enjoyable. We got fantastic advice from him and received a professional and efficient service at every stage. We absolutely love our new Kamiq and feel comfortable with it's features after some great demonstrations from Iver. We feel confident that we will be helped swiftly going forward and will definitely be back in future for our next cars after this experience.

We purchased a new Skoda remotely from Vertu Skoda Darlington and they made the process as simple as possible. When we came to collect the car they picked us up from the train station and then walked us through pairing the car with my phone and then we were on our way home!

Professional service from start to finish
Dealing with Matthew was made so easy with his helpful and professional manner

From the first meeting right to the finish when I drove my new car away, I had nothing but help from the friendly sales team. All question were answered no matter how dificult. The whole process was smooth and dealt with profesionaly and I was treated as a person. Many thanks to all concerned.

We picked our Škoda Karoq Sportline up from Vertu Škoda Darlington on Friday 30 January, the whole process from initially seen the car in the showroom was seamless the salesman Matthew Prest made our buying experience a positive one he explained everything we needed to know and guided us through the process. I would highly recommend both the garage and the salesman , well done.

I initially saw the car on AutoTrader and then called through to reserve the car and book a viewing which was seamless.

Charmaine was very helpful sending me a video of the car ahead of the initial appointment.

During the appointment I got my previous car valued, aware it had some issues, the mechanics had a look over and we agreed a very fair price - I don’t think I could have got much more for it elsewhere.

The test drive was ideal as I got to drive the car on both small and main roads.

Charmaine and I then agreed a personalised package for the Skoda Superb Estate which was in perfect condition at a really great price.

I then booked a collection the next working day. I made payment at home via transfer, my only constructive feedback is I would either encourage the buyer to call through to confirm the bank details or whilst in the garage arrange a time to where the details are confirmed over the phone for reassurance when transferring a lot of money.

The collection day was again seamless, I appreciate Charmaine taking ownership of the sale from start to finish. Charmaine provided a great, friendly and approachable service throughout, I felt I could communicate honestly with her and ask questions at anytime without feeling pressured into the sale / or to make a rushed decision. Once the handover was complete, the on-site manager of the dealership also came by to reassure if I had any questions going forward I could reach out to them too which was a nice touch.

The staff were excellent especially the salesman who looked after us called Matt. He was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to help my son and me with our choice of car. We found the staff relaxed and friendly rather than the usual pressurised / pushy experience we've had in the past . We also found Richard to be extremely helpful his advice was absolutely sound and he went the extra mile to sort the finance out so that we could get the car

Everyone we spoke to were very friendly. Graeme was chatty, friendly and helpful, nothing seemed a trouble. If I get pushy salespeople I walk away, he definitely wasn't. Would recommend them.

I want to start by commending Brian at Vertu Škoda Darlington, who provided excellent service throughout the sales process. He was professional, responsive, and ensured a smooth and swift delivery. On an individual level, his customer service was first-class and deserves recognition.

However, I am marking Vertu/Škoda Darlington down for how poorly their Christmas promotion was executed.

The dealership advertised a £250 Amazon voucher for new buyers, yet Motability customers were excluded outright. Some Motability customers are paying a substantial deposit of in excess of £1000s for their vehicles. They did not receive their cars for free, nor should they be treated as a “special cases” during their transaction, except when it came to being excluded from the incentives.

This decision leaves a very uncomfortable impression. Disabled customers are effectively being told they are not equal to retail buyers when it comes to goodwill offers, despite often making significant upfront financial contributions. That is difficult to justify in 2025/26 and sits poorly with any organisation claiming to value inclusion and equality.

This is not a criticism of the sales staff, but of policy and judgment at a higher level. Promotions like this should either include all new customers. Vertu and Škoda should reflect carefully on what message this sends to disabled customers about equality.

Not the new car experience I've had in the past. Used car bought and used right up to the day before collecting to the point my car was rushed to get ready. I asked to make sure it was perfect for me to collect and checked over. Again not done as there was a big chip in the windscreen that no one had noticed even though it had be valeted!!! New windscreen on order but clearly no one checked it. Also scraper and umbrella missing and had to point this out to them. Extremely poor customer service. I will get the windscreen replaced and never going back. A shame as I'm usually very loyal to the garages I use. I wish I had gone back to Pulman
