A GREAT END RESULT
Having done our online research for a 7-seater, we headed into the Skoda Leicester showroom, in July, with a clear knowledge of what we were after.
Saw the Kodiaz in the showroom, (white), and sat in to get the feel of it.
Forgot what ensued, but we were being shown another Skoda model with sunroof - which we went on to test drive. After some back and forth, and an overnight review, we arrived in first thing in the morning to proceed with the purchase of the car we test drove. Another potential customer was in the showroom, thinking about the same car - as informed by the staff. As we were made to understand that a £99 deposit payment would have secured the car for us, we promptly paid the deposit, whilst in the showroom - and the online deposit payment was accepted.
Unfortunately, things didn't go according to plan, so, after some exchanges, Dave C came into the picture and offered a supposed alternative - which turned out to be the car we originally came in for, the Kodiaz (black, and a 26 plate, and good APR – even better).
After all necessary paperwork had been completed and processed, we were able to pick up the car the following week, as the weekend was now upon us.
Mike and Dave arranged a courtesy car for us, in the interim.
On pickup day, we test drove the car, with the lovely Vertu lass (sorry, forgot her name 🤦🏾♂️,), and were happy with it.
So........ GREAT END RESULT - and a very happy bunny., and family.
Both Mike and Dave dealt with the hiccups well, and looked after us and our family, throughout We found both very personable, with good customer service manner.
Hubby & I are enjoying the car, and the grandkids love it, especially the back section.

Car MOT
I took my husband's car for at MOT at Skoda, Leicester. I was welcomed by Ian who took me to the key lockers and explained how they worked. The Team called my husband when the MOT had been completed and provided an overview of what they found. I collected the car from Ellie Phipps at the reception desk. Ellie was very helpful, courteous and arranged for me to collect the car. Ellie and I also checked the booking I have made for my car next month.

Wow wow wow
Wow wow wow, just where do I start with the fabulous Linda, we were totally new to the motability scheme but after talking to Linda, their motability lead, we never felt more at ease. Linda was warm and approachable and the extra detail she went to when talking to my son was outstanding. We knew we made the right decision.
Upon collecting the car, she again Linda went above and beyond spending lots of time talking us through how the car worked with all the little extras. It honestly felt like I was talking to a family member and not dealership.
In actual fact anyone at Skoda was informative and willing to help. Totally transformed my opinion on dealerships.

On arriving home the wash and vacuum had not been carried out. Very frustrating, makes me wonder what other things were missed. I will not be going back again. Having reviewed what happened with my team, it appears we incorrectly advised you that your vehicle had been washed and vacuumed when, unfortunately, this hadn't been carried out. I completely understand how frustrating that must have been, particularly when it leaves you questioning whether everything else was completed as requested.
Whilst I can reassure you that the service work itself was completed, we clearly let you down with our communication and final checks, and for that I sincerely apologise.
