Ive used Viking Bag products since I got my my motorcyle. I currently have saddle bags, light extenders, toll roll, gas tank bag, a sissy bar luggage bag, and the Trident large backpack. Customer service has always been excellent, and shipping fast. Also had a great experience when I needed to return an item that was too big for my motorcyle and recieved assistance finding the perfect bags to fit!

Easy to work with, quick resolution!

I love this thing. Really well made and sturdy — you can tell it's built solid.
The front detachable pack is my favorite feature. Perfect spot for snacks and and Insta360 on the ride, easy to grab without stopping. Even with the water bladder filled, the backpack plenty of room left for the essentials, tools or equipment.

Excellent communication

Before buying from this company be aware of their shady dealings. I have had a pair of bags for literally 3 months. Where it opens the seam started to come apart 3 to 4 months with these bags. I rwached out and they said they would get back 2 to 3 days no a week later. They say you kust have hit something on top of the bag in the seam area and thats what it was. I disagreed and its been another 2 weeks and they have siad nothing. Dont buy these bags and they dont satnd by their products.

If Jason Bourne were to design a backback it would be the Viking Bags [45L] Tactical XL Motorcycle Backpack.

Technically it's not bulletproof or able to withstand an EMP or nuclear blast but other than that this thing is AMAZING. The quality is top notch. The ride is comfortable. The straps are well designed and VERY ergonomic. And the thing just looks really cool!

This bag can ride a motorcycle while protecting a laptop, carrying enough beverages to hydrate a small village, and a bunch of grnades and motorcycle patches on the outside just for 'flair'. Every compartment is well thought out and truly functional.

I am a Marine, biker, and backpack aficionado. I've carried a lot of heavy things over long distances in poorly designed backbacks. I know how much back, shoulder, and hip pain suck. I am not exaggerating about the insane quality and engineering that went into this thing.

It's perfect riding weather and I have a whole lot of motorcycle rallies coming up in California this year. I received this thing as a gift and I figured the least I can do is leave an honest review. I should add that I ride everything from Yamaha baggers, BMW adventure bikes, the Indian FTR, to my Ducati Monster 937. This bag rides really well on a sissy bar or luggage rack too.

Ironically, my girlfriend also received Viking saddle bags as a gift when her leather saddle bags fell apart on her 2005 Yamaha V-Star 1100. I don't have the specs on the saddle bags she received. I will tell you that we weren't sure they would mount properly or look quite right and they did both in fine style. They ended up being a REALLY nice gift from a friend and the bike rides great with the new bags.

Really happy with this backpack! The material feels durable and high-quality, and the water resistant design gives me confidence when I'm out in different weather. It's comfortable to wear, has plenty of space for my essentials, and the roll-top closure is a nice touch for extra protection. Overall, it's a great backpack that looks stylish and performs well. Definitely recommend it!"

The Viking Bags 40L Apex Tail Bag/Backpack has become our go-to luggage for Wind Therapy rides across Colorado. We pair it with the 20L Odyssey Dry Sack, 7L Tank Bag, and 1L Handlebar Bag to keep camping gear, tools, clothing, and essentials organized. The build quality has held up exceptionally well on both pavement and rough backroads, and it’s proven to be a durable, cost-effective setup.

We still use Viking’s 80L Adventure Luggage System for longer expeditions, but the 40L Apex is the perfect size for day rides, weekend trips, and weeklong adventures. It carries everything we need without overpowering the Scrambler 400X, making it the luggage system we reach for most often.
