The report is crap. It doesn't give you a whole lot of details and the stuff you want You have to pay more for. The website says you can cancel via email, Live chat or phone... which apparently none work. I sent an email the same day I tried to do the seven day trial requesting a cancellation of the service. I thought it was all taken care of until I saw the thirty dollar charge on my account. I found the email I sent and their reply was try live chat. They can't do it via email. I contacted live chat, they said they can't do it via chat and i need to email. I tried to call after about a minute and a 1/2 It says, we're sorry the person you're trying to reach isn't available (or something akin to that) then it hangs up on you. So tell me, how am I supposed to cancel? And get a refund now, if nobody says they can do it.And I can't reach anybody by phone? I tried to dispute with PayPal since that's how I did the payment and they said they can't refund me because everything was done properly after they got a reply from this company who I apparently cannot get a reply from. Do not sign up for the free trial. It's a trap.

Wish i could give minus 10 stars; they took money out of my account even after i cancelled for 4 months, they havent return my calls or emails or money, i raised this issue with them and my bank now 2 months ago and nothing. Scam, stay away from them

Beware. Do not use this company. When attempting to cancel subscription, you will receive an error saying SORRY YOU CANT CANCEL CONTACT US! Then when you contact them they tell you sorry you can’t be refunded because it’s not our fault you couldn’t cancel through the app.

Total scam. I entered the site adding a VIN "for free" but nothing came up for the car number so I exited again. Suddly I'm being charged $29.95 for a "membership" ...of what? I also didn't catch it in time and was charged another $29.95 the following month. Trust me, there was no, nil, nada incentive to write this review, just an honest person being very upset.

I know there is an accident in the history based on CarMax. Vinhistoryusa.com did not have a record of it. They also lock you into a $30/month subscription with a $1 bait-and-switch scam, then make it impossible to unsubscribe without emailing. This smells like a scam. You should avoid it.

Scam! They sign you up for a subscription that you can not cancel. I froze the card that I entered and they somehow got another card I’m assuming through PayPal cause that’s what I used when I signed up. Horrible!

Scam. They charged 1 dollar for a VIN check. After that they took 29,95 USD for three months before me finding out. Tried to get in contact but no response.

This website is a complete SCAM. They lure you in by offering a vehicle history report for just $1, but what they don’t tell you is that they will start charging you $30 after 7 days, and will keep charging every 15 or 30 days like some hidden subscription you never clearly agreed to.

The worst part? Their “customer service” is a joke:

The chat is useless.

The emails just send you cancellation links that don’t work.

No matter how many times you try, there’s NO REAL WAY TO CANCEL.

This is a predatory scheme, and somehow they’re still showing up in Google Ads, which makes more people fall into the trap.

If you’ve been a victim too, or just want to help stop this fraud, report them to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). Please don’t ignore this. The more people who report them, the faster this scam can be taken down. Share this with others!

I would have put 0 stars but that is not an option. This company is BAD! they charge you a dollar for a vin history. This gives you a free week of running checks that you have to cancel or be charged 30 bucks. So the vin check gives no more info about your car. Instead, repeated options for a MORE detailed history report if you pay more WORST PART... you can not cancel subscription. Their website says just press here to cancel membership. When you click that a huge bubble pops up saying we are unable to cancel your subscription. Call blah blah. Can't get through with call. I emailed them not sure what I will get back if anything but I'm sure it's not going to be a cancellation.

Most worthless thing I ever purchased for a dollar. It said I had one report on a vehicle that I was looking at when I go to Carfax they give me 45 reports don’t waste your money.

Zero stars, this company is scammer, i paid $1 for one vin report & got billed monthly $29.95 membership fee and I've never used their service after the one vin number I ran.
They wanted to keep charging me since its so difficult to cancel. They are scammers & should be shut down.

First charge- $1, then 29.95-on same day Feb1, and both billed as vinhistoryusa.com and 3rd bill of 29.95 March 1, was billed as carhistory.com which is no longer up. Never reimbursed so I paid $61.00 for my OWN incomplete history report for my vehicle! 1 report!! Terrible n I’d like my $59.90 back!

The report only came by email and was hard to read/understand. So I ordered a report from another similar organization. Both were rather bogus, but I only signed up for 1 copy. A week later I realized that I had actually signed up for a free trial, which was up and I was automatically signed up for $29.95 for a membership. VINhistoryus would not allow me to cancel, unlike the other org. A day late for the price of $29.95. Totally not worth it.

A clear scam still engaging in unethical practices! I accepted $1 trial membership for a single vin number check then immediately canceled membership. One week later they submitted a $29 charge to my credit card. Fortunately I was alerted and declined charge.
Had to make 5 calls to them to reach a customer service rep who was rude and oppositional and would not listen or provide any acknowledgment of their behavior in inappropriate attempting to charge the fee.

Zero stars, this company keeps trying to debit my checking account for a membership fee and I've never used their service after the vin number I to ran and it came back with a bogus report. It didn't even give me any detailed information and wanted to keep charging me for more information. They are scammers.
