Dismissive and unprofessional
I had a collection of vintage cameras which had been valued in the region of £600 to £700. The valuer was dismissive and contemptuous, offering me £40 for the lot. He only glanced at a couple of the cameras and didn't even bother getting the others out of the bag that I'd brought them in. How on earth could he value them without even seeing them? I cannot recommend this company.

Stay Clear, go to a recommended jewellers.
I attended a roadshow at Hookwood church hall near Reigate around 5 weeks ago for appraisals of my grandmother's jewellery and was offered £500 for the lot.
Today I went to a local jewelers who gave me £2500 for the gold alone and i went home with half the jewellery as it was costume.
That was absolutely outrageous, talk about trying to rip me off.£500 versus £2.5k.
Go to your local recommended jewelers to get a REAL price not these dodgy chancers.

The person who dealt with my friend Christine and myself was very polite helpful and friendly.
We were very amazed at how knowledgeable this guy was.
We both came away with some money that we were both very happy with.

Highly unprofessional experience
Arrived at start time. No signs. Difficult to find room. No one on site had much idea what was happening. Valuer arrived 10 minutes late. No apology to customers patiently waiting in a vacuum. I left. Why would I trust such an unprofessional outfit with my valuables.

Good Experience
The people were friendly, polite and gave us useful information. We were more than happy with their valuations and the money was in our bank account within a few minutes. If we had anymore 'collectables' we wouldn't hesitate to use their services again.

Worth the wait !
Very pleased with the price given for my things.
However due to only one valuer turning up the wait time was considerably more than the 15 minutes suggested in your brochure.
Another ten minutes and I would have walked away without seeing the valuer.
People did walk away because of the time factor to wait. However I was glad I stayed.

Great Service Fair Price Happy Days
I had a variety of items to dispose of & Josh was very helpful enabling me time to decide upon what to sell, keep or donate to charity. He gave a very competitive 'spot gold' buy rate for some unwanted jewellery which I accepted.
Overall, Josh was friendly, fair, polite, informative & very helpful providing a highly efficient professional service thank you for my 1st time experience with Vintage & Collectables it was an excellent opportunity to offload unwanted items/obtain realistic valuations too!
