Have a new car arriving soon. Bought this in advance and yet to have installed. Have tested that both front and rear cameras work using the usb power supply connected to my laptop. Install sd card and recorded a short piece video which saved onto card and reviewed on laptop. All working outside of car will update when installed in car
UPDATE
Been nearly three years now and still working fine did buy an expensive sd card with high endurance as the rewrite rate is high but quality of picture is still great. Will be replacing the sd card in a month or so to be on the safe side would hate to need visual proof and the card has failed.

The products are good, but I found the information on the UK site to be lacking. I had routed the supplied standard USB cable to my rear camera, only to find that it was about 1m too short. I had seen previously that cables of various lengths were available. The thing was that I didn't know what length I had. I'd spent ages routing it neatly and planned to use the too short cable to pull through the new one (there were some very tricky bits to get it through), so I didn't want to take it out to measure it before I had the new one.
I also found the ordering system on the website to be clunky- highly recommend that they do some QA research with some independent users so they can see how difficult it can be to use, especially for accessories.
Thankfully, someone customer service helped me and I received the longest (8m) cable, which has been working well.
The other complaint is with the firmware updates. Their website regularly has updates, but the instructions are unnecessarily confusing. I've updated my dashcam a couple of times and it's been OK, but when I contacted the main company, someone (from China?) responded and said that it wasn't necessary to keep the cameras updated with the latest version. So I assume it's only worth doing if having issues, or new features are added. I just checked their website and they have a few recent versions, but the changelogs for each version look to be identical. There really should be better information about when to update the firmware and what has changed between versions. Also, the updating instructions need reviewing and improving.
No complaints with the products themselves.

purchased a Viofo A129 Dashcam from this company and it is SUPERB. An excellent product and I strongly recommend dealing with THIS company as their customer service is second to none. No hesitation!

After a thorough review of the alternatives, I chose the A129Plus as suitable for me.
Ordering was easy. I was lucky to have a voucher entitling me to a free memory card. I am very grateful for that.
Fitting to an MX5 was fairly straightforward. The fusebox is tight for hardwiring, but is not overly difficult once all the necessary trim is removed.
I had to make a bracket to mount the rear camera behind the seats so that the camera could be used with the roof in the up or down position. There is plenty of room to hide the cable behind the trim after feeding the cable under the door threshold trim.
All in all happy with the service, the fitting and the function of the camera set. Hope I never need to refer to it in anger!

After using the camera for a few months I can't recommend this product. On papper the specs look amazing and the dual camera set up on the a129 pro is a cost effective solution but in the end various problems and lack of real engagement from Viofo support result in poor performance and constant issues.

Items were sent out quickly. Unfortunately, the wrong fuse taps were sent which meant I had to go buy the correct ones locally to get the install completed. Customer Services require me to send back at my cost - not worth the additional time and hassle for a <£5 part. Great product, average service - should have bought from Amazon!

bought mt1 system from them and happy with the product and all the fitments included. compared to other systems.
I did purchase a "copy" system off of eBay - please be assured there not comparable as the bay one did not work for long and cameras not of the quality specified. the MT! system is as good as specified. the only thing I added to the kit to fit it was one plastic clip I had left over from fitting an oiler system.

Very happy with the setup. I've had to turn down the sensitivity of the G shock sensor due to the roads being so bad around here (Nottingham) I've got a 256gb sd card and this saves about 3 - 4 days worth of recording at 6 - 7 hours driving per day

This is the 2nd viofo dashcam I've used. They are so easy to install and use. Never had a problem with the first one. Viofo are real helpful if you do have a problem. Delivery is always 1st class.

Unreliable and buggy products. The cameras might not work if in an accident.
I would not trust these cameras.
Viofo support was bad. I wasted time and money trying to get these cameras to work.

I have just received excellent customer support from the UK distributors (Steve) … the email I received was from the manufacturer in China.

An error on Viofo’s website was sincerely apologised for by Mr David. Was offered an upgrade for a discounted price, which I was happy about. The customer service was the best. Quick emails and the product itself of course is amazing. Very happy with the pro duo
