How to do customer service
Things to be aware of:
I had preconditioning (only, no charging) scheduled for the following day on my vehicle e-golf and the charger charged my car for 17 minutes then stopped (presumably because of the scheduling). So be sure to disable any scheduling before starting a charge. Also, adding notifications to the app to inform users of failed and completed charges would be useful. Also be aware of the minimum payment of £2.40 which is fine if you want more than 5 kWh but not if the charge stops before then.
I phoned VoltShare and spoke to Kerri-Lee who arranged to refund the minimum payment for the short session and helped me identify the cause of the stoppage so the next charge was unhindered.
Kerri-Lee is a real asset to VoltShare and an example to other companies of how to do customer service. In an era where so many companies are keen to deploy an AI chatbot to handle customer issues, VoltShare show that we don’t need or want more chatbots - we need more Kerri-Lees.

Responsive, reassuring and very professional!
I had a query about my relatively new EV charger following some guest feedback. Kerri-Lee in the Customer Success team is absolutely brilliant! She is professional, very knowledgeable and helpful and reassuring. I am finding that my charger is already generating additional business for me - guests have told me that Devon has insufficient public charging points so are finding mine a great convenience. Frustrating charging issues
Using the voltshare charger at hook farm cottage, charger kept completing the charge without me stopping the charge and emailing me that charge was complete, it became very frustrating having to go back to the car to unplug the cable to enable me to restart the charging when everything was ok with the car settings.
This would happen within minutes of starting a charge even when it has been charging for a few hours previously and stopping without any reason.
Technical support were excellent at helping out when needed and looked into the matter, they found out that the charger was faulting on 'over/under voltage' and this was an issue with the campsite supply. They altered some settings within the charger unit and there was no faults when I connected up and charged overnight. (Charger output was 5kwh instead of 7kwh).
Great customer service when you need it most.

We recently installed a Voltshare charger at our holiday let and it is already making a huge difference. It means we don't have to stop nearby to charge our car and we are also seeing new bookings who selected our property for their holiday as it has a charger.

Kerri-Lee in Customer Success was the 'visible face' of VoltShare and she did an impressive job; she explained the VoltShare app and its options early on and she co-ordinated with their proficient cabling contractor so the installation was seamless. She also made sure we understood what VoltShare means for our tenants at Morfan in Newport, Pembs and the many benefits. Thank you.

Charger offline problem
We had a problem with the charger being offline at our holiday cottage. Turned out the router SSID and password had been reset by a previous guest. Kerri-Lee was absolutely brilliant as it took several calls between her, the landlord and us. All got sorted and meant a lot as we could now charge the car at a lower cost and conveniently. Really impressed and grateful! 👍👍👍

Holiday Home EV charger …
Installed a Voltshare EV charger at our holiday home. Our local electrician installed the charger without difficulty - It was the first time he had installed one. Operating the charger is simple either via the app or via Apple Pay. The Voltshare team talked me through some of the App functions which allowed me better connectivity. Overall very impressed and hope our guests find it as easy to use.

The initial quote stage was comprehensive which was a tall order with our multiple chargers required. After a few snags from the installer the installation went efficiently and the aftersales process with customer success really easy. I initially found out about Volt share…
I initially found out about Volt share as my friend is a registered installer he explained to be it's a very good idea for one of my self catering holiday lets so I agreed to have it installed and I must say it's very successful my guests what have used it are also happy with the convenience pulling your car in to the driveway then able to fast charge customer service both before and after service has been second to none a very personal touch which I feel is appreciated I would recommend VoltShare to anyone you will not be disappointed

Full marks to Voltshare
The charger was very easy to use and the app accessible and clear. Compared to other chargers we have used when staying in holiday cottages it was very straightforward and made our holiday home just as convenient as being at home. I had a query about the authorisation charge which our bank had taken, which I now know doesn't go to Voltshare, and could not have had better service from Kerri-Lee. She was absolutely delightful and went above and beyond to explain the situation and her care was genuine and very much appreciated. It was amazing to speak to a human being at all and for it to be someone so helpful and thoughtful was a big bonus. I could not recommend this company more highly.

Couldn't release the charger!
My charging experience was great except for not being able to release the charger from my car at the end of the session. I was on the phone to Voltshare for one hour and Kerri-Lee was really amazing, talking kindly, suggesting various options, checking with other staff and finally helping me find the self-release mechanism in my car which I had no idea about! Kerri-Lee was an angel!

Voltshare EV charger installation
We installed an EV charger at our site for our holiday guests.
The whole process with the team from Voltshare was easy and nothing was to much hassle. We did have a problem with the carrier failing to deliver the first charger however this was rectified very quickly. Kerri-Lee is a delight to deal with and more than willing to give any help and assistance as required.
So pleased we opted to use Voltshare and will have no hesitation using them again if we decided we need another charger.
