I’m sharing this so others are aware of my experience, as resolving this has been far from straightforward and quite disappointing.
The install was originally booked for a Friday, which was cancelled at short notice and moved to Saturday. I was told to expect a 4–6 hour job starting at 8:00am. Instead, the installers arrived nearly four hours late with no real communication or apology, and the job dragged on for around 12 hours, finishing after 10:00pm.
This caused significant disruption — I had to cut short a morning appointment to meet the team, and later leave my wife’s birthday after neighbours raised concerns about work continuing late into the evening.
Communication on site was also difficult, with installers relying on phone voice translators, which was concerning given the electrical nature of the work.
More importantly, the installation was not completed correctly, leaving key areas of my home without power overnight. The electricians returned the next afternoon, and it took several more hours to complete.
I’ve requested compliance certificates to confirm the work meets Australian standards, however only an unsigned copy has been provided. Commissioning was also handled poorly (completed over the phone), and the system still doesn’t appear to be operating correctly. I’ve asked for assistance and received no response.
Overall, this has not been handled to an acceptable standard.
