I had my Volvo XC40 serviced at Volvo Poole today.
The car service and MOT was fine but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
With previous services I took advantage of their free courtesy car or their free collection and return service.
This year, as I'm 85 years old, I was told that I was too old to have a courtesy car and I had to pay £20 for their previously free collection service.
Although they put the blame on their insurers I will be reporting this age-discrimination policy to the Equality Advisory Support Service. If Volvo Poole can't supply a courtesy car I think that they should provide the collection service free for the older effected customers.
My car was scheduled to be collected between 8.30am and 10.30am.After chasing them up their driver arrived at 11.15am. No notification from them so nearly the whole morning wasted. Why they couldn't phone me once the driver had his schedule I don't know, but another instance of bad customer service.
They also provide a car wash as part of their premium service package. However, the quality of this is bad; they left my car with dirty wheels and dirty water drip streaks on the rear window.
I don't consider their premium service to be worthwhile and will be exploring local non-Volvo garages for future servicing

We purchased our Volvo from Jordan Fleet who was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He certainly went above and beyond to make our purchase as smooth as possible. We always ask our car dealer to print our private plates and this is the first time we have ever gotten them pre drilled ….. needless to say that really impressed my husband, something so small meant a lot! My husband is over the moon with his new car.

Very professional and attentive service. Would recommend. Slight confusion over ev battery certificate to begin with, but this was sorted quickly. Would happily purchase another car from them.

Elena was great from start to finish. Very helpful and cheerful person to deal with. Was kept informed of any changes that were happening, communication was good. So far very happy with the car. If there was one thing that was slightly disappointing was that the car was not fully clean as the wheel arches were muddy, which you don’t expect on a brand new car. Otherwise happy.

Volvo Cars Poole processed my recent XC40 purchase. My experience of dealing with them has been a positive one. As with most dealerships, Volvo Poole are an agent for Volvo Cars and whilst they have dealt with me courteously and efficiently, they were constrained by the Volvo Ghent and UK Transportation supply chains. Although my vehicle delivery was delayed due to supply chain issues, Joe at Volvo Poole kept me informed of progress and expedited my cars delivery on arrival.

This is the third car we have bought from Volvo Cars Poole and the experience gets better and better. This time we dealt with Henry Burgess and we can't praise him highly enough. He demonstrates an in depth product knowledge and really helped us choose the model, trim level and accesories that we really wanted. We would thoroughly recommend Volvo Cars Poole and Henry in particular who is
a fine ambassador for them.

Excellent from start to finish. Having clicked on 'enquire' on the website, Elena got in touch within minutes and was helpful and friendly throughout. The usual, required admin was dealt with as painlessly as possible and the car collection from the VIP collection area with cover over it to provide 'the big reveal' was a really nice touch. We met Henry on the forecourt while we were looking at the Selekt cars. He was able to offer us advice and look at cars that would meet our needs.
