Pub breakdown
Great to be able to see where the recovery truck was on a map, updated each minute so I had an idea how long it would be. The guy was friendly and efficient when he arrived. I was lucky to break down near a pub. So I could have a couple of pints and a meal while I waited. Could have been worse.

Rescue my car booked on Friday 6th of February 2 hours delay with time rebooked after 6 p.m waited till 8:00 p.m. no one turned up rebooked on the 9th of February at 1:30 p.m. the recovery man showed at 5:30 pm service not professional not recommended this company sorry

we are sorry to read that you gave VRCR a one star rating. We did advise your breakdown recovery provider that we was extremely busy and gave a two hour ETA then your breakdown recovery provider advised VRCR to stand down and to reattend on the 09/02/26 but we was not advised that the that the vehicle was booked in for 13:30 we was under the assumption still to attending your vehicle for 18:00 it is clear somewhere there as been a breakdown in commination.

Really nice guy, he did tell me his name but I'm useless and forgot it immediately...the weather was disgusting, it was late in the evening/night time but never once moaned or even implied moaning...fantastic job carried out and I was back on the road in no time...thank you for the service 😀

I was informed as soon as they were on their way, the mechanic arrived 40 mins later, very polite and knowledgeable, got my car going for me so I could get it to my garage of choice

Excellent service from start to finish. My car broke down and was recovered within the hour. Was given a courtesy car while mine was in for repair. Car repaired and back with me less than a week.

Was not happy that at 15.30pm was told that the recovery truck was on way to me, and would be 40mins.then at 4pm driver rang to say would be 1 hour. As he had just been given the job and got in his truck. Lying to customers is not a good service

Super friendly and super fast! Our car broke down in the UK and we arrived at the garage in a complete panic with our German car. The guys got it running again in no time! We are very grateful and can wholeheartedly recommend this garage. Thank you again!

Called as my car unexpectedly broke…
Called as my car unexpectedly broke down without warning. The breakdown recovery van turned up as stated 90 minutes later.
The mechanic did not look at my car, didn’t ask any questions, just where I wanted the car being taken to from which i had to state a garage to be dropped off at. Unfortunately at 10pm everything is closed and I was stranded at the garage next to my car which was pretty much dumped over two parking bays. Poor customer, poor experience, will i be reviewing my cover for the future, yes i most certainly will be. I do not recommend this company.

Regarding your review of giving VRCR two star rating the reason why our recovery driver did not look at your vehicle to see what the issue was is because we receive the job through our system from your breakdown provider which stated on our job that we receive was to do a a "straight recovery from location to destination which was given to us by your breakdown provider and we have to follow their instruction.
The service was excellent
The service was excellent. A friendly and efficient pick up, dropping me safely at my garage for repairs and not too long a wait .

Bit miffed at having to pay £120 call out charge, even though I contacted my breakdown company to say recovery was no longer needed as car then started. Don't mind a call out charge but £120 is over the top

Totally pleased with my service.
The mechanic that attended was absolutely first class it was a latenight call out in very cold weather but it made no difference to Glen. He went above and beyond to get me back on the road as quickly as possible he found the faults to my vehicle and corrected them all and advised me on steps I should take for the future. I could not praise him more.
