Seeking training options closer to home for our anxious dog led us to Lyn and Mike.During our initial meeting, we had open discussions about our needs and their potential solutions.The learning experience is engaging, supplemented by phone and email support, which I've relied on. There are also informative booklets available, catering to everyone's needs.Attending their classes, applying the techniques, and adhering to their guidance have allowed us to make genuine progress and acquire practical skills.We've connected with other individuals facing their own challenges, and mutual support is abundant.With Lyn and Mike's presence in every session, everyone is included, and the training remains enjoyable.

After needing to find training closer to home with our nervous dog, we found and met Lyn and Mike.

We went to meet them, have honest conversations about our requirements and how they could help us.

It’s fun based learning as well as phone and email support which I have lent on. There were booklets too. Something that works for everyone.

By going to the classes, doing the practice, following the advice we have made real progress and have new skills for real life situations.

We have met others with their own struggles and everyone supports each other.

With Mike and Lyn in each class no one is left out and training is fun.

I was offered the 13th April,however it was you that advised we did t attend as my dog had seen a dog and you advised we kept her in for 7 days so couldn't bring her on your advice
Second one you offered you were rude with a yes or no in your text As you were aware my mother had just died and my priority was not replying to you straight away and I couldn't make that o e because I had to work The third lesson was too far away in time considering that you had my money and I had to seek an alternative trainer
I was at no point rude to you, even though you were very rude about our trainer Steve who might I add has done wonders for her Ehshe loves working with him and his pack of dogs and we are no well on the way to socialising her properly We we're never going to get that from you and we have heard of several people who have left you for the same reasons Could I have proof that my money has gone to the charities and not in your pocket Thanks

Lyn and Mike have helped us hugely with our reactive dog, to the point that we are now able to take part in group classes, something that was unimaginable last year. Their expert guidance, combined with lots of homework, have put us on the right path in just a few months. I 100% recommend this business.

My sighthound ‘Moon’ is a rescue and reactive to many dogs. We had a few one to ones with Lyn and Mike, they picked up straightaway what he was struggling with and why. They gave me a realistic plan to follow with many insightful tips. We have now joined the group sessions, we started outside the area at first, working towards being in with other dogs and their humans. In the last couple of weeks Moon himself has asked to go in with everyone getting excited rather than the fearful barking of the past. The training Lyn and Mike have given have got Moon and me to this point, his confidence is growing everyday. It’s means commitment but then I always knew I needed the training too;).
Lyn and Mike are thoughtful, caring and highly skilled at what they do. I would certainly recommend them and will continue on with sessions for as long as Moon needs them.

Fantastic training sessions with Lyn and Mike at Wagtail Walks and Training. We had a mildly reactive, teenage dog and their guidance, patience and positive training methods have worked very effectively. I also loved that they are flexible with training session dates. They are truly dedicated to getting the best out of each, individual dog. Thank you both!

We are so pleased with the results of attending their training, we started with a one to one and then attended the group sessions.

The concepts were easy to understand and worked. If we got a bit confused or stuck they were quickly on hand to help.

Would definitely recommend them.

Lyn and Mike are the best, two weeks in and my puppy Maisie just loves going to training. Such lovely people and you can see straight away how much they love what they do, making the sessions so much fun and rewarding and to help with training in between sessions they have so much information on their website to keep you going. Lyn is amazing both as a dog trainer and as a person. We thoroughly enjoyed our 1-1 sessions and group training. Benji has made great progress quickly and with all the tools Lyn has shown us, I know Benji will continue to get better & better. We miss seeing her and the group every week!

We joined the group training classes with our cockapoo puppy as soon as he was able to go outside! He transformed from a shy little boy to a confident dog able to take new experiences in his stride thanks to Wagtail. We learnt the essential tools for training him and had fun doing it. We definitely bonded over games because of the style of training too. Cannot rate these guys highly enough. We’re planning to go back for sessions in the future. Thank you!!

Lyn has been incredibly helpful and a wealth of information. The change in our dog in just three weeks has been amazing. She really knows her stuff! If you have a dog with issues like ours, or just have a dog or puppy who needs a bit of training, don't hesitate, you won't look back.

We had a very pleasant session with Lyn and our two dogs, Fudge and Domino, this morning. We have been having issues with reaction and Lyn spent time with the girls and gave us some great advice on how we can deal with it. She was welcoming and friendly and the girls took to her immediately. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lyn and we will certainly be taking her advice.

Is nearly a year i met Wagtail walks and Training and i can tell that they had helped me a lot with my dogs Luka and Tetley. Both are rescue so not easy job, Tetley began to trust humans again, thanks to Mike walks (both love him) also Lynn gave me some support ,advice and tricks to practise with them. If you want a quality service with lovely people you should contact them.

Lyn and Mike have offered such a lovely environment for our German shepherd pup Bella, we have both learned so much and Lyn is always put my mind at ease being a first time dog mum, I would and have highly recommended wagtails to everyone! Bella always gets so excited and always has so much fun!

Just what I needed, 1-1 observation, guidance, support and strategies for my very lively cockador. Lyn has advised me on harnesses, food supplements and learning aids. Never being a dog owner before, Lyn has helped me to learn the techniques needed to support my dog, rather than generic techniques for any dog, and that is just what I needed after attending a group class, which didn't work for us, as our puppy needed more focused attention as she is easily distracted. Our girl loves Lyn, she can't get enough of the treats and fussing, I needed her too to reassure me that I am on the right track. I have picked up tips from friends, books, tv and youtube, but having someone with you on a 1-1 basis is second to none. I would thoroughly recommend Lyn and Wagtailwalks and training.

When you need a dog walker you need someone friendly, reliable and professional. Even more importantly your dog needs to trust them too. I have a 6 1/2 year old lab cross, Rosie, who does just that and loves her time with Mike each week. I have peace of mind and she has fun. All round winners - thanks Lyn and Mike. 😊
