Great experience at Latune gardens, supported every step by George (and sometimes Lorraine). Head office (Heather) very helpful with our chain. Would definitely recommend this development - not that there are many houses left to buy now!

My wife and I have just purchased our first home through Wain Homes and our Sales Advisor, Hannah Webb, was an absolute godsend. Throughout the entire process, Hannah made us feel at ease, well informed, and satisfied. Every meeting we had she made sure that we were always all on the same page before moving on to the next stage, and also she was a very welcoming person, helpful, and overall a legend.

We had booked for someone to come and look at the fence in our garden. Paul arrived over a week early to check the garden for us to make sure he would have all of the resources required. He quickly realised he would be able to resolve the issue for us today and went to get what he needed. Paul had been to our house before and remembered my partner and our dog which was lovely. He fixed what needed repairing for us and went above and beyond to even fix the gate which I hadn’t realised there was an issue with! Excellent quick and friendly service. Thank you Paul!

I have just moved into a new build house on the Wainhomes development at Higher Trewhiddle in St.Austell.Weather conditions had delayed completion.However,Michelle Salter and Simone in the sales office have done a marvellous job keeping us informed as to the progress of the build.When building conditions returned Michelle & Pete the site manager combined forces to get the job done.Even after completion,we've been contacted as to how we were getting on.
They made a difficult time much easier.THANKS

We bought our home at Hillwood Gardens,last year, and we’ve been very pleased with the overall quality of the property. The house was finished to a high standard, with a bright, modern layout that has made settling in easy and enjoyable.

We also want to highlight the excellent service and customer care we received from Wain Homes throughout the process. Their team has been responsive, supportive, and professional whenever we needed assistance, which made the entire experience much smoother.

A big thank you to Craige, who has been incredibly supportive from the beginning. He consistently went above and beyond to help us, and we truly appreciate his patience, guidance, and commitment to making sure everything went well for us.

Just bought a Wain Home and we are very impressed with the quality ,finish and attention to detail. The experience was enhanced thanks to Karen, at the Lawns, who guided us through the whole process with professionalism and a sense of humour.

From our first visit to Kingsley Manor, Ashley made us feel at ease and explained all our options to us in simple terms and with no pressure.
He even pulled all the stops out when our buyer had an issue that would have prevented us purchasing the plot we had really set our hearts on.
The whole process from start to finish has been brilliant from reservation to moving in day. Ashley , Ian & the whole team, you are all a credit to Wain Homes.

As young first time buyers we couldn't have asked for a better experience with Wain Homes. We bought our home at Lister Gardens 2 and the whole process was smooth from start to finish.

Viv and Andrea were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available if we had any questions. They also recommended a great local solicitor which helped make the process even easier. From reservation to completion within 6 weeks, they made everything feel stress free.

We are absolutely thrilled with the quality of the house and the attention to detail. Some of our favourite features like the open plan shaker kitchen, the under cabinet lights, solid wood doors, choice of bathroom tiles, lots of USB and ethernet sockets and recon brick exterior all make our home feel extra special. Even family and friends in the trades have commented on the high standard of workmanship. After snagging, we only found two very minor issues which the customer care team resolved quickly.

The local area and neighbours have also been fantastic. Overall, we've had such a positive experience and been very well looked after by the whole Wain Homes team (particularly Viv!). We would definitely recommend Wain Homes.

The transition into our new home has been significantly smoother thanks to Wain Homes Site managers and Sales Managers support proactive approach. Their diligence in identifying items for the snagging report and the promptness of the subsequent rectifications was impressive. We truly appreciate the high standard of aftercare provided during this move-in period

Michelle and Simone have been excellent throughout the whole buying process keeping me fully informed with progress. Was also able to air my concerns which Michelle got resolved very effectively.
My property was pushed through the build process and has a few missing items but the site manager is working closely with me to ensure they get resolved effectively.
Overall very happy dealing with Wain Homes and would recommend them.

Recently moved in on the paddocks site in Preston, unfortunately when I moved in my initial experience was not what I expected due to pressure from the sales team prior to completion, then a rushed key hand over and lots of snags being found within days of getting the keys, however this initial negative experience was completely turned around by the site manager (Dave)and quality manger (Lynsey).
Lynsey worked tirelessly to ensure all snags were rectified as soon as possible. All snags were rectified over 3 weeks bringing the house to the standard it should have been at handover.
Due to a busy work schedule I ended up leaving a key with site so that works could be carried out as soon as possible. Throughout the works I was kept up to date with the plan for each day, and every measure was taken to ensure that there was no damage to any personal belongings & that the house was tidied after the works had taken place.
Lynsey has turned what started off as a negative experience, into a very positive experience. I have now been able to start settling into my new home knowing that all issues have been resolved to a high standard.
Lynsey’s efforts over the recent weeks have been outstanding, and have left me happy with my choice to purchase from wain homes.

We recently had a faulty front door which wasn’t closing correctly due to a faulty screw and letting in a draft, wainhomes came out on numerous occasions to assess and make it right & eventually replaced the door for us , which was greatly appreciated as we had a newborn

This was the nw customer care team any issues they are really helpful - Emma, Ciara Andrea Deb and last but not least the friendly John!

Gary did a fantastic job sorting out some snags for us. Came in the morning and went well out it his way to come back the same day to finish off. He was friendly, efficient and couldn’t do enough for us. A credit to his profession.

We purchased our wainhome 4 years ago in calder view catterall. Over 20 months ago, sub contractors turned up and dug up a section of our approach road,apparently to carry out repairs to a pipe in the wrong position. They eventually infilled the area with gravel , despite loads of correspondence with wainhomes they have failed to complete the work.
As a follow on from the above comments, it is now 22 months and still waiting. All the information requested was resubmitted as requested. Eventually they accepted that this repair had been overlooked. Regardless of this admission, no work has been attempted. Perhaps no one wants to sign off on this work, has the underground works been put right? I suppose we will only find out if Lancashire fire and rescue attempt to access water in a emergency!

Mike and Paul visited today to sort out a few snagging issues, and I couldn’t be happier with the service they provided. They were both friendly and professional from the moment they arrived, turned up on time, and got straight to work.

They took great care to keep everything clean and tidy throughout, which we really appreciated. Most importantly, they managed to resolve all of the small issues we had quickly and efficiently, with a great attention to detail.

Overall, a really positive experience – thank you both for your help!

We moved into our new home back in March 2025, and we are thrilled with the quality of the build. It was a troublesome start as our sales rep left the company right in the midst of our purchase, which left several matters outstanding and quite confused. There were also snags as with any new home, and some still to be rectified, but Wain Homes agreed to complete them all without any hesitation. Special mention to Thea, Sam, and Richard for their welcoming and professional demeanor throughout the housebuying and move in process. We will certainly buy a home from Wain Homes again.

Thea from the sales team was fantastic and made the process extremely straight forward as we were first time buyers. She was a joy to work with during the process and although we had to pull out at the end due to a change in circumstances she was very understanding. The property we were looking at purchasing you could tell was built to a very high standard. I would definitely return to Wain Homes and compete a purchase in the near future. The is a credit to their company.

Paul and Mike were very polite respectful. Came prepared with shoe covers which I was very happy about as many tradespeople don’t bring any. Completed the job very neat and tidy. Thank you
