I wasn't asked when Uncapped took over the business I had with SellersFi. I never had a problem with SellersFi. But with Uncapped. A major one. A problem that eliminates all business opportunities with them.
My business banking in a local credit union's hands, and Uncapped is incapable to connect to my bank account due to their flawed integration of Plaid's service.
I opened a new business banking account with a different bank, and connected this one successfully to Uncapped, using Plaid. Only to receive an email from them, they ONLY accept a connection to the bank account at my local credit union - the one they can't connect to due to technical problems. They are aware of these problems and promise me for the last 5 months to fix them, but nothing has ever changed.

Needed a payout letter urgently, and Gina & the team helped very quickly - much appreciated!

A great lending solution for e-commerce businesses. Very simple and intuitive application process and quick funding. It's not just a fintech without human interaction, but also interactions with a real person that can answer questions and provide guidance. Started working with them this year and everything has been very smooth. Brade was helpful with onboarding and all their terms have benn transparent and straight forward.

We have used Uncapped twice now after having used Goldman-Sachs and Amazon Lending and have had an excellent experiance. We still shop around but with the help of Brade Gilleland at Uncapped we are consistently able to find finance solutions that fit our needs that are more competitive than other options.

Uncapped has an interesting model, which is (in my view) superior to a number of 'sales backed e-commerce lending' options.

For us, while there is the typical fixed fee, we are offered a rebate if we pay off the loan early, and that rebate in line with the APR of the loan.

This offers a better option for sellers who may need that flexibility, so it doesn't leave money on the table.

Sean over at Uncapped was really helpful and ensuring we understood the product so that we could feel confident moving forward.

I hope the loan servicing experience is as good as the disbursement experience, and I will update here if for some reason it doesn't continue to be 5 star service.

This is our first time getting a loan through Uncapped and were surprised as to how easy and fast the service was. We'll be using them in the future to help us grow our Amazon business.

I originally was sold a loan by Marcus by Goldman Sachs for 100k through amazon.

Very soon after, the loan was sold to uncapped.

I nearly paid off the loan - and much to my confusion, Uncapped never gave me an offer to refinance. Even more strange was that they declined a subsequent application to simply top-up the loan.

I finally was reached out to by a team member named Roxanne F with a refi offer of 75k.

I showed her our financials and expressed my confusion with uncapped's underwriting as our business had grown substantially and our debt ratios were extraordinarily low. We have never missed a debt payment in the 10 years we have been in business having accomplished nearly 30M in sales.

After one meeting, Roxanne was able to secure us 180k on better terms in terms of both rate and term length. In fact, the offer was the most reasonable in the industry in terms of unsecured debt by a longshot.

My walk-away feeling is that as we continue to grow this company that as long as Roxanne F is taking care of our account - that we will be able to continue to substantially increase sales volume and will continue to use uncapped as a lender. I look forward to working with Roxanne again.

To those looking for funding for your business, stay away.

We have a lot of experience with this company and have taken two loans from them.

I've opined on this before: they will lie about forming a "relationship" with your company, then back stab you in unethical ways. Understandably, if someone's business is going downhill then they can't support that and they are a business themselves. This was far from the case in our situation (also we've never missed a payment for 2 years), and what we dealt with was a flat out lie. It didn't end there, after the fact they started acting in sketchy ways and would ignore our emails. Talk about a "partner". They are sleazy, slick snake-oil salesmen. Take your business somewhere else, there's others out there.

This review in particular pertains to the fact i'm still receiving automated emails from them, despite us parting ways in an acrimonious manner. This should be a warning to everyone, they want to take your money and run with it.

Working with David Liles was a pleasure. He was a great point of contact. Uncapped works pretty straightforward. I saw offers from Parafin and Uncapped. I looked into both companies to figure out pricing based on total fees. Here is what I found and why I found Uncapped far superior to Parafin
1. Neither charged any upfront fees
2.Parafin takes the money directly from your sales at about 12-15% of your gross sales which may be close to your actual profit margin as well as lock your account payments so bear in mind that will be very difficult for the next 4 or 5 months if they take all your profit unless you have a net profit margin of over 15% which many sellers do not when you account for ad spend as well.
3. Once i did the math on parafin taking 12% of the sales repayment would be around a little less than 4 months and at 15% a bit more than 4 months ( i based this off my exact sales last year same time period asumming sales did not go up or down). Their total fee was about 15.73% of the loan amount but if you only have 4 months use of the funds that equates to over a 45% apr in a year. I found that shockingly high.
4. Uncapped had far superior terms they take 14 equal ( bi monthly) payments so 7 month term and their fees were very low charging just 6.16% for the whole 7 months making an effective apr of around 10% but charging less than 1% a month i thought was extremely fair.
5. I quickly accepted the offer from Uncapped and they approved us within a couple hours and sent the funds within just a few more hours after signing a docusign. No bank statements or credit checks ( maybe they did a soft inquiry not quite sure about that but I never saw an actual inquiry on my reports.
6. Parafin just had a call center with very little help explaining why the fees were so insanely high ( I think a loan shark might actually be cheaper).
7. Neither has an actual APR just a flat fee charged for the loan . I took their total fee amount and divided it by the loan amount to determine what % of the loan amount would have to be repaid as a fee above and beyond the loan amount.
8. Uncapped had a dedicated manager working with us who clearly explained the process and fees upfront. Paying 6.16% loan fee for a 7 month loan was far superior than even the rates that our huge bank business banking manager could even offer. Funds transfered exactly as they promised a few hours after signing the docusign.

Title: 🚨 DO NOT WORK WITH UNCAPPED — Total Lack of Professionalism

If I could give zero stars, I would. Our experience with Uncapped has been an absolute nightmare.

We signed a $3M loan deal, only for them to come back two weeks later saying, “Oops, our C-suite decided to focus on Amazon deals,” and slashing our funding to $1M. Then, months later—right as we hit our 5% EBITDA margin and were expanding into major retailers—they cut it again to $350K.

What a joke. This kind of last-minute bait-and-switch doesn’t just hurt businesses—it leaves founders stranded during critical growth moments.

Word on the street is Uncapped’s facing financial troubles, and based on our experience, I’m not surprised.

Bad company. Bad ethics. Bad practice.
