WG Locksmiths Ltd Reviews

Nice easy communication. Job completed quickly and very happy with the work

Fantastic locksmith service, I highly recommend!

Good communication, punctual, job done quickly

It is such a breath of fresh air when you find a tradesman like Paul! His communication was prompt, clear and courteous. He was able to do the job the day after I contacted him. He gave me notice before he turned up. He turned up when he said he would. He explained everything I needed to know about my misaligned UPVC patio door. He resolved the issue. And charged a very reasonable price. What a star! Well, five stars!

Very impressed, we were unable to unlock sliding doors. Paul called as arranged, identified and fixed the problem speedily and efficiently. He was upfront with his pricing beforehand which was very reasonable.

The locksmith was very skilled and professional!

If you're looking for a locksmith in or around South Norwood, look no further than WG Locksmiths.
We recently moved into a new home and needed all the usual security work carried out, including changing the locks, assessing the doors and windows, and getting some general advice on how best to secure the property.
We found WG Locksmiths after a recommendation from ChatGPT, and from my very first email with Paul, I knew we were in good hands. He was transparent about his pricing from the outset, which was both competitive and fair, and there was absolutely no pressure to commit to any work before he had visited the property and discussed the options with us.
Paul was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly professional. He took the time to explain the different lock options, the benefits of each, and the associated costs, allowing us to make an informed decision without feeling rushed or pressured.
His workmanship was excellent, and his honest, trustworthy approach gave us complete confidence. He also helped install our new Ring camera, and we'll definitely be asking him back to install additional security devices as we continue to improve the property's security.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paul and WG Locksmiths to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled and trustworthy locksmith. An excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommended.

I have used Paul twice (eight years apart) and on both occasions he has been very efficient and professional.

Excellent reliable service. Paul arrived on time as planned and explained in detail the work that was being done. The price quoted for the work did not change as agreed at the outset. I would not hesitate to use this service again.

I manage a block of 16 flats and the door lock to the common parts stopped working. Paul came out within a few hours (it wasn't an emergency as there was an alternative side door). We agreed that rather than having to cut 30+ new keys, he could send the old lock off to the manufacturer and have a new lock prepared that would fit the old keys. We agreed a reasonable price (£85 charge for attending at the block) and it took about a week for the new lock to be prepared and he came quickly to re-fit it.
Some residents still had a problem with the new lock and Paul came out very quickly - the problem was with the old keys and not the new lock. He did not charge for this extra visit.
Would use him again, friendly, helpful, efficient

I called Paul WG Locksmiths Ltd for the second time, after he helped us two years ago with a different issue and again he was super responsive and helpful and sorted out the problem. Will use Paul's locksmith service again. Thanks so much!

Came very quickly. Solved the problem very quickly. And gave me advice on how to avoid the problem recurring. Very friendly and helpful. And very clear upfront about costs. Highly recommend - and, indeed, this is the second time he’s sorted a problem for us.

Great service, very professional and reliable. Highly recommend.

I have used WG Locksmiths several times. They are very good at what they do, they give clear information about your options and costs, and they are reliable and punctual - highly recommended!

Paul changed the locks for us on both the front and back doors. He was efficient, quick and very approachable. He did a great job and we would wholeheartedly recommend him.

We had our car stolen last night and a set of house keys were inside. I contacted Paul and he was with us within 4 hours. He dealt with things super quickly and was super responsive.

This is the third time I’ve used Paul and he gives good advice and is super efficient.

I have no problem recommending him. He’s a great person.

We recently had our broken UPVC lock unlocked and replaced, and Paul did an excellent job. He was very professional, provided a premium service, and clearly explained all fees upfront, no surprises. The work was done efficiently, and we’re very pleased with our new lock. Highly recommend his services!

Paul was very clear describing the work and options to limit the cost. He arrived on site the same day and replaced 2 locks as planned - great to deal with

This is the second time we have used WG Locksmiths. We were so happy with Paul’s workmanship the first time (new front door locks) that when our internal doors became faulty we called him immediately. Both times he provided us quotes upfront, which he honoured. Additionally, we found his pricing fair. Before fitting new door handles he ensured we were happy with the options suggested, providing alternatives on request. All pricing was transparent too. On this particular visit he fitted 2 strike plates, 2 handles and 3 tubular latches.
