This location track is no good for busy town and city street. It’s helpful for remote rural areas.
On one occasion the delivery driver left my important official documents behind a bin across the road opposite to our house. On another occasion, my British Passport was posted through our next door neighbours letterbox. Tracking showed it was posted to our address but the front door photo didn’t match ours.
So, using postcode and door number is the best way for precise locations.

Essential app, if you venture outside a city or attend outdoor events.

Furious that they've now decided to put a load of features behind a pay wall. I'm not willing to set up yet another subscription for such a rarely used need. It was useful but now i hope it dies.

What3Words is useless in the United States for navigation if you already use Waze. Following the W3W directions to add Waze there was absolutely nothing adding to the Waze capability. The Waze maps were not augmented by W3W or enhanced in any way.

Very useful app for sharing location with friends and family

Heard about what3words from a friend, while on vacation in Britain, and dismissed it as a novel idea until 3 days later, our family found ourselves lost (due to a GPS miscalculation) on an unmarked mountain path with a blown tire. The rescue service helped us download what3words and that is the only way they were able to locate us.

Since what3words was launched I encouraged its use as Chairman of a safety group, it was received well. This improved safety for many lone workers, however; what3words are now requesting a subscription fee to get the most out of it. Just be aware subscription based systems end up getting into financial difficulties I recommend not to subscribe.

DPD relied on this supposedly yet can't find my main road address.

It is accurate to 12 feet after each calibration. But it's utility is poor as the other recipient also should have your App to enable interaction of What3 words App. I search an address but I cannot communicate to the individual who own the address via your App. I have to use WhatsApp or email to communicate the What3word address. So enable the profile suitably.

Having been unable to get on line deliveries because couriers struggled to find my property even with explicit directions years of having to have parcels sent to family miles away. Using what3words has for the first time used, enabled courier to find and deliver I'm so grateful to have solved this problem.

What a great and novel idea - hope it catches on

Brilliant company!! Simple effective app, that has saved so much time in my wife and my own work, as well as deliveries drivers actually being able to find us now. A+++

I can't believe that What Three Words can provide code words for every 5m square location throughout the whole world, using only three words! Of course, I have only tried it thus far in the UK, but having a readable map (Google Maps) I can point to a specific square and read out the three words provided by What Three Words.

Fantastic for finding remote address, meeting friends at places like beaches and countryside. Our granddaughter was lost in a city and didn't know how to explain where she was. She then used What3words and her mum went straight there. Amazing tool. I go on long hikes and bike rides, and have the security of knowing if there is an emergency while I'm out, I can sent my What3words location

Amazingly helpfull tool, especially in my car navigation system comined with voice control

Excellent for use on the beach when you want cold drinks and a pizza delivered right to where you are. Worked a treat shame other delivery apps don’t use w3w

This is a great idea for rural properties. I have my elderly mothers W3W on her fridge door in case she needs emergency services

I did not think it possible. I just keyed in the address to my What3Words and it gave me the lat-long address which Google maps then sorted out a route for me. So easy!

I’ve found what3words to be incredibly helpful. Last month I used it to direct the firefighters to a fire at a scrap yard. I didn’t know the name or address. I gave 999 the what3words address and they located it immediately. I usually use it for deliveries, for meeting friends at rounders practice on large and busy fields, and when traveling abroad. It’s quick and the app is free. Definitely recommend it.

This is literally a life saviour. My son had a serious motorbike accident while on green lanes in the middle of nowhere. He called 999 and the ambulance team sent him a link to what3words. They managed to find him straight away in a field off the road. He had serious injuries and was immediately taken to hospital. I don’t know what would have happened had he not been able to use this incredible device. I am truly so grateful to What3words. On a less serious note I live in a village where 14 properties have the same postcode. I use What3words on a regular basis for deliveries or friends visiting. I could not live without it now.
