This is my second project, an oil painting, & a pencil rendering, & the artists nailed it. Both projects have gotten numerous comments about how realistic to the photo they are, the artists truly captured the nuances of the characteristics in both the dog & the people in the pictures. Hiring this company was my worse mistake, the final portrait had a cartoon quality which they were unable or unwilling to rectify. My daughter's lips and eyes were enlarged beyond their original size giving them a ghastly fake illusion. My son's eyes were supposed to be hazel, not even close. Also, his eyes look crooked and unrealistic, with heavy lids as though he were half asleep. I sent them a message that although they would not refund my money because of their inept artists, the 10X8 went in the bin. That's right, trashed. I could NOT bring myself to even SHOW my children the portrait. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!

I just received my 3rd portrait and love it. My son gave me the first one. I love it so much I ordered two more. The first is a caricature of my grandson looking like Chucky. The second is my granddaughter as Tiffany and the third is a family caricature of my daughter her two kids and husband as Boston Bruins. They are all awesome and I get a lot of compliments on them.

It's beautiful!!!!! You have to do a double take of the photo, and of the painting to see which one is the original photo!! All my friends and family were very impressed as well!! I just orderd a custom frame to go around it, so I can hang it up in my living room. I can't wait to get it back, because this beautiful painting is a reminder to me of how love never dies!!
Whataportrait.com is very quick to communicate with you. They make their suggestions very clear!! It took about 2 and a half weeks for my huge painting to be done. They emailed me a picture of my painting so I could see what it looks like before they mailed it out. Within 2 weeks I received my painting. It was wrapped soo nicely and safe!! It was wrapped several times, for extra protection! It was so worth the wait!! I couldn't be happier with this painting!!!! Thank you guys sooo much!!!!
