Nothing wrong with Wheels for Wishes
Nothing wrong with Wheels for Wishes. The auction company was supposed to pick the vehicle up on Nov. 25th 2024. They never showed up. I called, no one answered and never returned my call until five days later. They acted like I never made the arrangement. Didn't talk to them because of anger. I wasted a whole valuable day. So sad for Wheels for Wishes organization. They lost the donation.

Horrible and dishonest…
Horrible and dishonest is how I would describe the whole experience. So I highly not recommend this service. Too bad 0 star is not an option as it would have been my choice. 1st I wasn't given a time frame of when the tow truck would be arriving. I waited and waited and had to step away to do some errands thinking it would be safe to do so. The tow truck showed up when i was away so the wife granted the driver access to the car which was fine. 2nd My issue is that I didn't sign the title thinking that the driver would have reached out to for approval. When I got home I called the rep and she tried calling the driver a few times and was not able to reach the driver. 3rd So the next day called the tow company and explained the situation and that I also forgot my garage door remote. She said it wasn't an issue and that they have a Power of attorney to sign the title which i did no agree to. she said she would be mailing both the garage door remote along with the title to sign back to me the next day. None of that ever happened which is very disappointing!!!

You never picked up my vehicle. You were informed that I don’t have the title or keys and you scheduled the pick up anyway. Never showed up.

Our records show that the tow vendor attempted an initial pickup but couldn’t reach anyone upon arrival. Unfortunately, the vehicle was incorrectly marked as picked up in their system, which led to an automated invoice and our team mistakenly marking it as completed. During an audit, we realized the vehicle hadn’t been removed. The tow vendor then rescheduled for an unattended pickup.
When they returned, a woman at the property stated the vehicle belonged to her grandson, who confirmed he had not authorized the donation. We also attempted to reach out to the original donor listed, but haven’t been able to make contact. The donor slip notes that the title wasn’t available, and it appears the donor may have moved from the listed address, which adds to the confusion.
We apologize for the inconvenience and are taking steps to ensure smoother communication and verification processes to prevent similar issues in the future. Thank you for your patience, and please reach out if you have any more questions or concerns.
This was our first time donating a car…
This was our first time donating a car to a charity. I researched very thoroughly before making a decision to donate our car to Wheels for Wishes. I filled out the online form and within a few hours, I had already received a call from the towing company scheduling pick-up. The towing company arrived right on time and was very courteous and professional. We received our letter and tax form within 6 weeks of the donation. Also, the Customer Service representative I spoke to was very helpful and answered all my questions. It was a very good experience!

They had a tow truck driver come in and remove the car the next day, after sitting for 3 years I hope they can fix it up and auction it off at a good price.

Easy Peasy!
